the rarity is variable based on the items inside + mod combo on each map - assuming the item inside is tier-based rarity
@@Omisid something changed from last league? Same items, but drop rates are like 20 times lower. Didn't drop a single valdo, 2kk kills
Probably not a great idea to have a random global drop that can crash the price of a chase unique that normally should come from an uber pinnacle boss, like progenesis, which lost over half its actual value last league after it got its foil introduced mid league. Pretty dumb when the cheapest version of a unique is the foil.

@@77creator would very likely be because the Affliction mechanic juiced quant + rarity so much (in combination with MF) that they were dropping like crazy. this league, without that interaction, they're much rarer

Wouldn't call the profit significant considering the time spent buying, opening, sorting, running, looting then selling. Probably far more profitable running other content or buying the tricky maps to run them instead of buying boxes.
Given that he said the value was lower than that of the boxes before running the maps, it's absolutely not worth buying the boxes if you plan to make money. If he had instead bought those maps to run like you said, he would have made far more.

I've been delving and making adorned, made 8 so far, 5 over 100. 110, 130, 135, 137, and i just made a 150! Gambling has finally paid off lol now i just need someone to buy it.
