And the Protestants did the same. The Pendleton Witches were most likely Catholics who were practicing in secret. Also, Protestants in Northern Europe (Germany, England, etc.) also killed people, specifically Catholics and Jewish people. So, both sides aren't good. Both sides started it during the Reformation.
