But none of this is truly accurate for a new player, slayer's path already fully kitted including the max XP, and the extra power gains from reforging. What I would like to see is a new account lvl1 brand new and see how long for reforge 1 takes.

tbf most reforges are not done by new players. a lot of casuals enjoy reforge farming like this even after they have maxed gear [i don't really understand why though] but this is accurate for the reforge farmers who are trying to do it as much as possible, and new players probably don't care about min maxing it anyway.
i'm getting close to mid game gear. Right now though i'm using (power surged Pangar Chain Blades)(Omnicell is Iceborne) (Koshai's Bloom for my lantern) (Full Carrogg Armor) and no potions. It takes me about 8 hours to reforge. I usually fight blaze behemoths and do the blaze Escalation 1-13 only.
Well typically once you hit lvl 20 for the first time you don’t reset right away you probably start to build a build and get things you need before you reforge.
if you haven’t already the Axe, probably easily one of the best weapons it’s crazzzzyyy and fun to use, as convincing friends well uh good luck lmao i don’t have anyone who plays it either

Why escalations for leveling. I do lvl 5 hunting ground till lvl 5, then lvl 10 hunting ground till level 10, then do last hunting ground till level 20 and i can hit max level in 2-3 hours with a decent group killing a solo behemoth in a minute or less, and doing all the events. The load screens eat up time, and the travelung in escalations, and give less xp.
If you're playing with others, you are going to feel the detriments of exclusively playing in the hunting grounds less. At the start, killing 6 behemoths in 4.5 minutes, even beginning at level 1, is a rate you're likely not to get in a hunting grounds when going up against level 6 and higher behemoths. The reason it's rather easy in escalation is due to power boosts, where you're actually rather close to the power level of the behemoth in 1-13, even fresh out of a reforge. The other main appeal is that you're guaranteed the same amount of experience per behemoth, nearly 200, until level 7. Escalations can speed through bounties faster as well, which is just a constant bump to the experience rates. For no bounties or consumables, it's a possibility that hunting grounds after those first few levels could be better. More testing of the private hunting grounds could show that, but we will have to see.
@@TheMrTrails I'll have to reforge and see how quickly escalations goes solo. I see fresh reforged players in escalations all the time and usually they are completely useless and are just there to leech.
So here is what I'm stuck on I got to level 20 but people say you can get to level 50 but don't explain how on my countless screen it says 20 is max how do I level it up or get past it??
How do you have so many aether sparks to keep up with reforging? It takes me like 5 days to reforge and get 100 aether sparks. I ran out of patrol keys and I don’t know how to get more . (I also opened all my daily cores)
@@TheMrTrails So I got curious and did some testing today, and like you said shock was faster for 1-13 escas. (Thanks for the heads up, that'll save me some time!) For me however, the 15-20 was faster done in frost. Here's my average times with strikers 1-13 esca / Frost 4:30 / Shock 3:30 (weapon level ~7) 10-50 esca / Frost 8:30 / Shock 10:00 (weapon level ~16) Those were average times, I'd be curious to know how fast you were able to complete shock :) I found Frost to be more consistent as it relies less on RNG for good run times
The shock escalations take a maximum of 7.5 minutes, can be as low as 5 minutes with virulent impact. I don't know if I've had a frost escalation go lower than 7, and if I've had one it had to have been grabbing the mantle for faster running. There'd need to be some more information to your data, such as what behemoths were involved, did you just get the worst selection of amps of all time in shock escalation, did you take a significantly higher number of hits in the shock escalations than the frost escalations. The one thing I'm debating with myself on, is if terra 10-50 would be faster, since agarus doesn't move, while malkarion does like to move a bit. Terra has a marginally longer walking time because of the round 1 to round 2 trip, but also a larger number of "bad" amp choices than shock.

Honestly, it would be great to have a "Return to ramsgate" or even reQueue for a new esca from within the escalation, that would save alot of time to skip the keystone behemoth :)

You have to click/press right into it one extra time than what you might think. If you don't see the option of 10-50 or 1-13, try clicking the escalation you want to do one more time, then attempt to queue up a private hunt.
You get a bonus based on how often you reforge the weapon, like getting additional damage after reforged the Axe a certain amount of time, as well as it "maxes" gear out, allowing weaker gear to be useful, like gnashers gauntlets for example. Gnasher's are 10 armor normally, but if you aether charge them, they hit 30, which is equal to any higher tier arm armor. Also aether charged armor and weapons have an enhanced perk, like them going from +1 acidic for example, to +3.
I have the extra experience per kill within the slayers path. But also, experience is gained based on the difference in level between you and the behemoth. If it is 5 levels higher than your current weapon level, that is when you get the most experience.

That only works if you have endgame build. Perhaps you should do such guide with a new account to see how challenging it is to kill one behemoths.

Running events would be the other option. I still have a lot from conversion before 1.5
