HOLY GOODNESS! This was a lifesaver. I couldn't delete some files on my flash-drive due to this specific error number it gave me; it was some TEMP file. I tried renaming and deleteing multiple times to no prevail, until I found this video (thanks Google for ranking this video on top of its search engine) and did exactly that by clicking "Properties" and scanning the flash-drive for error, and that ended up allowing me to delete that respawning like a phoenix TEMP file. Much thanks mate.
i did what you did on cmd and system says:windows resource protection could not perform the request operation. what i should do i cant do anything i cant update my windows i cant get into browser i cant create new folder i cant play games

It all started when randomly on week my computer wouldn't boot into windows 10 it would take me into the troubleshoot/repair screen. So to deal with that I cleared my hard rives and reinstalled windows 10. But as I was reinstalling windows 10 it crashed (it said could not see all files needed pls start again). Now x that by 10 and at that point I tried linux ubuntu and with no surprise it said "installer crashed" its been 3 days and nights and I've done what I think could work now I'm just looking for any answer to help my problem😔

All I had to do is to scan my harddrive for errors and I had them, then I restart my computer, while the system scans and fixes all of the errors in the drive. Next boot everything works just fine. Will watch this again when I have this same error once again.
I had this problem with my 1TB memory card and I nearly wiped the whole memory card but then I watched this and tried this method before formatting my memory card and I managed to fix it. Cheers

Я с этой ошибкой тоже промучался полдня)) не мог удалить дамп статистики каспера 500мб SRV.full.dmp)) ссклинер и эму прочие чистики не справились, фирменная утилита каспера тоже оплошала) По форумах вопрос этот решался только с новой установкой касперского и последующим удалением статистики в самой программе.... Запустил сканирование на ошибки - и после перезагрузки всё удалилось) Автору видео лайк в карму))
When I attempt to scan the drive, I get an error message that says "There was a problem scanning this drive: Windows was unable to scan the drive. Close this dialog box, and then try to scan the drive again. If the problem persists, scan and repair the drive." Any idea how to fix this? Since it says to scan and repair the drive but also says it can't scan the drive, I'm a little confused lol
