Jorge Masvidal opened up about allegedly assaulting Colby Covington outside of the ring. After his loss in UFC 272, he admitted to confronting Covington on the street, which resulted in him being charged with two felonies. Masvidal, originally pleading not guilty, later pleaded no contest. The confrontation stemmed from Covington's comment about Masvidal's children, which the UFC fighter revealed had deeply angered him. According to Masvidal, Covington had previously threatened his life on a podcast, so when they ran into each other in Miami, he decided to retaliate. Masvidal has warned Covington to avoid involving his children in the future as it will result in continuous confrontations. Jorge Masvidal also pledged to rapper Drake, who had bet heavily on him for the UFC 272 fight, that he would win in the next fight. - บันเทิง

Well he pled no contest which is that he doesn’t admit guilt, but agrees the prosecution has enough evidence to probably convict him.

Colby was always going to be a stylistically tough match up for Masvidal, but let's be real, Herb Dean giving Colby "the benefit of the doubt" on a bad eye poke that led to a takedown was an all time bad call and absolutely obliterated Masvidal's biggest advantage which was his first round striking.

He got dominated on stand-up and wrestling during the whole fight. He got one lucky punch during the whole fight and still didn't do anything even though Coby talk all that shit that he's a deadbeat dad. Then he dicided to leave his house to sucker punch Coby illegally when he was out for dinner and before that he got paid to fight him for 25 minutes legally and still couldn't do nothing during that fight to make him pay. Sorry but Jorge lost all respect as a fighter, man, and father that day when he dicided to sucker punch Coby.
