Same. Every demo I see of it is metal related, and while I’m not complaining, I also want to see other uses. Because while I enjoy the sounds, I want to see if it’s a one trick pony or if it’s usable in different applications.
Every day, modern metal strays closer and closer to becoming noise music, and I'm here for it. Also, maybe I'm psychotic for this, but I have this "instrument" called the Drone Machine (10 knobs and 6 switches, I think) that synthesizes drones and noise, and I bet it'd be wild to put this pedal in front of it, lmao
its gonna be my first pedal as far as standalone fx and i can already see myself writing a bunch of shit with this and having to bend over my board switching the knobs around for each song lol.
So the Panic sounds like a ring mod, for sure, I use a lot of ring mod and that def sounds like a ring mod effect. The Chaos sounds like a heavy chorus effect, just a really fast one. I have no idea what the speed knob does. It almost sounds like it's been bit crushed to death
If you close your eyes it sounds like music played by mountain lion band.. but actually I love it, it reminds me on the haunting Cliff Burton noises on "Call of Ktulu"
Okay, yeah. Much appreciation to the Alpha Wolf lads. It's so annoying wanting a thick guitar tone, but then you don't have enough gain for the harmonics and rakes. This will solve ERRETHANG!
Honestly with considering that pitch shifting is one of the hardest things to do + a Collab/signature + small company + a pitchfork+ is also about that price, it's pretty decent
I’d say it’s fair, it’s a newer small company so it’s likely boutique. Which means its parts are probably bought and assembled in the US = higher cost of labor (even if it’s just a couple people) and parts. Then it’s a collab pedal so I imagine AW gets royalties. It’s a pitch shifter (I’m assuming polyphonic too) so those tend to use more expensive tech. Plus R&D took probably hundreds of hours across just a few people. So it’s not so much how long it takes and how expensive the parts are to build, but about everything that went into it around that.

Can't wait until Emily Harpist somehow finds this pedal haha

This is the sound i've searching for like half a year, i've gonna buy this and make some noisy pissedcore 😁
Years of me wondering HOW THE FUCK PEOPLE MAKE THESE NOISES?! Trying to replicate in post production. NOW WE GET THIS BEAUTY?!
@DareToBeatbox i know that post production pain, we are blessed actually, im so happy right now, can't wait to try this pedal
Pisscore*

Mirar pedal 👀
Haha dude yes
Frontierer would have so much fun with this
Just make a wall of subwoofers and try it again
Something something. Noah Orion
I don't want it…I don’t want it…I don't want it…
I NEED IT!
🤘😈
First The Hog now The Noise, Tallon is kiiiilling it.
Welp, time to start a Darko cover band...
its gonna be my first pedal as far as standalone fx and i can already see myself writing a bunch of shit with this and having to bend over my board switching the knobs around for each song lol.
Bought the pedal like 2 hours ago the second I got the email about it. Can’t wait to annoy my neighbours.
Such a sick pedal but dont know if I can justify spending $350 CAD
Definitely has Mirar vibes to it !
these are the types of pedals we need. Also agree with the midi implementation. edit: that guitar is also sick af
Pedal goes REEEeEeEeEe 😊
Awesome! I want to try it on a clean guitar, to see how disturbed the sound will get...
Can't wait to see you guys in Norway next year :D
This just sounds like Darko. I fucking love it
That thing brings the filth. I love it

Fuck man $250 seems so high for an effect pedal like this.
A whammy itself is already 200 bucks, so i think it is kinda fine
@ this doesn’t do what a whammy pedal does. There’s no expression pedal. It only has two octave options.
Didn’t realize it was that expensive, was wanting one myself but don’t know if I can justify the price
If you close your eyes it sounds like music played by mountain lion band.. but actually I love it, it reminds me on the haunting Cliff Burton noises on "Call of Ktulu"
Damn, I need one asap, were you running a compressor on that?
Holy smokes, that looks so fun. So much spooky harrowing character.
This is a one stop shop pedal for the Darko US sound, insane
I can't wait for mine to show up. Super excited!
should check out the spline laboratories "cathedral" next, josh ang's signature pedal
I was waiting for this! Is fire man!
what happens if you press both switches at once?
Tinnitus, probably, lmao
Love it I'm definitely gonna try and pick one up last thing I'm missing
Awesome video. awesome pedal. love the shirt.
Both footswitches are momentary only? Any latching functionality?
Momentary only
Duct tape fixes everything

still writing 2015 riffs like it’s 2030
If my legs worked I would definitely pick one of these up
I really hope this comes as a VST. Would be an instant buy.
would rather octave down and double octave up
I hate it, I want one.
Awesome!!
Oh man I need this
Mirar??
So sick i need one.. i feel dimebag wouldve loved this pedal
Such a good company/people that makes some great pedals. Was interested in this, and think your vid just solidified me getting one. Haha
Can I use it in my Beach Boys cover band?
Perfect for thall❤
Tallon slayingggg the pedal market!!
I've been wanting to get a Tallon Electric pedal for a while now and this is absolutely the one.
Why not all knobs all the way up? :)
Insanely sick
It sounds like a stack between boss hm2 - swollen pickle - whammy and a bit crusher.. interesting
Imagine this thing in the hands of Joshua Travis 😮
wish it had midi control
The filth! 🫢
Now when people say its just noise they wont be wrong lol
Perfect for Thall 🥵🤙
Seems perfect for code orange as well
Let there be filth
Ibanez m80m video coming soon??🥺
Yes
No octave down, or is this meant to be played on drop F and lower ?
It’s a pitch shift up effect. You can use it on any tuning you want
Keep in mind this was a pedal made with/ for Alpha Wolf which they seem to only use the octave up function on their old whammy pedals
@@jadonchacon yeah but i thought they also wanted the down Option
2nd btw
need
Just preordered this. Fuck, I’m excited hah
Buster odeholm will probably buy this pedal
dude haha wtf how did they make this into a pedal i need this!!!
that's sick
Put some synths or drums through that, could sound cool
If my guitar doesn't sound like a screeching demon, what's the point of it all?!
$250😂😂😂
I’m going to be up at 1AM to buy at launch 🥲😂
Ah yes, now i can become mirar
its a beautiful thing!
Merzbow metal?
sounds like spiritbox as well.
let them dogs out Andrew
toe.
Now use it to make a Mick Gordon inspired demo.
it sounds awful i love it
clean amp demo?
No
best pedal if you want to add some some chaos emotions in a song
Mirar fans rejoice!
Okay but now do it with a delay
They couldn't make it any cheaper than 250$ 😢
Honestly with considering that pitch shifting is one of the hardest things to do + a Collab/signature + small company + a pitchfork+ is also about that price, it's pretty decent
@robjobse5162 I mean it's not about the money to me but that's what it always comes down to. At least I'm not a car guy anymore haha
@ryanmartin2343 oh yeah i can believe that lol
