birlliant tutorials; before i watched this first few im like, daydreaming about how this stuff works, after im like "oh oh i get it".the learning curve isnt so steep its the creative ability curve thats godly huge.
Such a great tutorial!! Been needing this to explain massive. And now I understand LFO's more clearly and how everything is routed through Massive. Now I feel like I can drive the sound where I want as opposed to turning some knobs and hoping for the best! Still much to learn though, onto Part 2!
I am a psytrance producer, but this really helped me learn Massive. I am used to analog clone VSTs so this really helped alot! I hope this translates into some of the other NI VSTS
Amazing sound, amazing tutorial!!! Thank you so much :-))) I have learnt damned much, but one thing is quite confusing: OSC 3 is inaudible, because the signal is sent to filter 2 (fader position!) but filter 2 isn`t used at all, it is even muted (fader position!) and also the fader for mix 1/2 is on top, maybe you have forgotten something??? LOL ;-))) Well even without OSC 3 this sound is supercool and at least there is something left to experiment with by my own, haha.
Can someone please reply! When i make a sound in massive, how exactly do i use it for my melody / bass part? Do i create a midi clip and add the notes then drop massive on it?
guys why always we get dubstep masterclasses ? may be one day u can do course with bonobo, chalie may or any other deep(techo\house) producer , that will be supagood! cheers!
VERY GOOD tutorial, but can somebody help me to understand ONE THING? If I decide to send my OSC 3 to filter 2 ,as the tutorial say, it seems not working. After a lot of tries, it seem that it doesn't work because of the fader which is immediatly to the right of each filter. So my question is: WHAT IS THAT FADER? It is similar to volume or, I'll say it better, "quantity of signal processed by the filter". So, the most intuitive thing is that putting it down, the signal is totally off OR the "filter processing" is totally OFF. In fact, doing my things, when I put that fader (always 2 filter) UP, ...it WORKS ...(of course if In this video OSC 3 is sent to FILTER 2 but FILTER 2 is OFF. (...if all I wrote above is right), so I don't get how it's possible to hear the synth from OSC 3. But maybe (probably) I'm not right on something :) I'll read the instructions for sure but...maybe somebody can help me ;) THANKS, Marco P.s. Sorry for my english.
I didn't say it had top be his own sounds. I was saying that playing skrillex for a dubstep tutorial isn't very sensible because he isn't dubstep. Next time, think before you post another moronic comment.

Massive is so freaking hard to learn imo... But probably the best synth there is...
*whispers creepily into your ear* “xfer serum can make complex sounds and isn’t as hard to learn”
“serum”
“use xfer serum”
@@prikkiki-ti-2 that comment is 7 years old dude
@@prikkiki-ti-2 "forget it, xfer serum is absurdly expensive"
I wouldn't say so. You can know what everything does individually, but not how that will effect the outcome of your final sound.
great video.
It was a Skrillex dubstep remix. If that helps.
thank you so much, this is amazing
i cant get sound on my massive, whats on the go with it?
Can someone please reply! When i make a sound in massive, how exactly do i use it for my melody / bass part? Do i create a midi clip and add the notes then drop massive on it?
learned a lot, thanks!
Whats the newest version of massive?
Yes.
por favor pueden dejar el link de descargar del Massive
I can't rename the macro controls, can't type anything into the box, anyone else have that problem?
What midi keyboard do u have?
guys why always we get dubstep masterclasses ? may be one day u can do course with bonobo, chalie may or any other deep(techo\house) producer , that will be supagood! cheers!
i cant tell a difference between that and the original 'Dats sick' effect :DD
sick as hell

P.s. Sorry for my english.
That fader is the output level of the filter. It's funny you point that out, I'm 99% sure there's nothing coming out of oscillator 3 in this vid.
tnx a lot man help me so much !!
I need .nmsv files so I can´t load this?
Very well put.....it's no secret ;) Peace \\//
EQing,leveling,compressions etc :)
"bronze and strontium, annd thats sounding pretty shit" made me laugh.
on the real though great sounds man you really know what your doing
I'm doing it the other way around. I'm in med school and I'm trying to learn this lol
Ahh... I really haven't listened to the song much before so after hearing that main intro I thought it was the original.
Where can you buy the pack?
+Colox Music www.loopmasters.com/genres/49-Dubstep/products/1113-Loopmasters-Present-Dubstep-Synths-Massive-Presets
buy it. srsly it will give you so much fun back.
The easiest way to use this massive vst is to use it constantly and teach yourself some neat tricks,
I LOVE YOU!
Brillant
Yea, couldn't get the same sound and I am not new to massive.
same here, haha. odd
oh, actually, i did. i already had ohmcide on that channel :P
oops!
right? I don't know what's up but the oscillator types weren't sounding the same as his at all
Fuck, you guys make this shit look so easy. On behalf of youtube viewers - we envy you.
It's a good bass except I don't agree with the reverb panning the hell out of it, your bass is suppose to take up your middle track primarly
I can't replicate the sounds it seems that oscillator 3 is not working or smth
lol the alcohol... by the way thank you google but i just want to fucking comment a youtube video, not share my thoughts with my circle... fuckers.
Does it come with a free virus?
where do u download the sounds
I wish he would explain what he was doing lol
yea he isnt explaining which parameters he is even editing. playing it close to tha vest!
I'd just say mess with random things till it sounds good. Although you should know what everything does before doing so.
I REALISED what i want to do with my life, I want to be a sound engineer!

"I'll turn it down a little bit so you don't have to wake your neighbours up"
SCREW the neighbours! I'm sure they like it :P
People do the exact same things as he does to be sure they did everything right and then they can start doing their own sounds.
P. Shaper (insert) = Your wobble's best friend :)
believe
In essence, it's quite simple. Just takes some fudging around.
this doesn’t sound like skrillex, this sounds like the really old dubstep
i hate it when i copy it exactly but it sounds nothing like.
damn it you know how to rip it
"exquision" im dying lol
wow
usse it like any other synth.. just add notes and have it looped..
Reminds me of datsik and cookie monsta's RD0065 .. I think Thats wrong . Lol
Funny because i have same midi controller right now haha
2 monitors ftw.
its datsik...

yeah..the main - you can be creative only with alchohol
У него глаза моргают не одновременно! Воблы нужно завязывать писать!

Skrillex Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites :D

1:46 So we could play with our bitches lMAO XD. uh im fuckin drunk
Nice torrent.
yes, this was the joke, and hence the quotation marks.
Quite the contradiction there, haha.
i think someone is mad.
sounds like rusko xD
Spamming is not really the best way to get your music out there....
>video tutorial on making dubstep synths
>plays skrillex in the background
Way to lower your credibility there...
why is it tha`t I find almost all tutorials on dubstep to be shit, when everyone else likes them?
Right? Lol.
thats not possible... haha
its just a simple synth, learn the basics in novice videos
Try again. And again. And again.
