It's interesting how Roxie speaks to Cassie in the same sort of robotically formal yet gentle tone that Freddy speaks to Gregory with as opposed to her more assertive way of speaking.
Id like to think this is the real Roxy. Whatever virus Vanny put on her Monty and Chica must have got out of her system when she heard Cassie voice. Like a soft reboot or something. Her connection with Cassie must be really strong. So sad to think no one showed up to Cassie party but Roxy was there to brighten a little girl day.

The ruin dlc completely changed my view on roxy. It's crazy how I went from thinking that all the animatronics were evil and trying to kill you, to realizing that in all of reality they're gentle and care for you in a very human-like way. It's so sweet. To say the least the character development she went through made it very, very hard for me to deactivate her in the end. This dlc is genuinely amazing!
In the events of security breach she was under the influence of glitchtrap which made her a killer in ruin she went back to her normal caring loving state as these animatronic characters were made for children but she was still angry at Gregory for running her over and taking her eyes. I think anyone would be 💀
Her true colors are amazing. Her real self is very caring towards children. She is the best after all... It truly seems that Cassie made an great impression on Roxanne in the past and Roxy remembered her birthday and her favorite cake. “I’m sure your friends will show up this time” and Roxanne’s kind smile caused some serious heartache…

The game files has text that allows us to know who said what and when. Grimic (Mimic Gregory) was using Gregory’s voice the whole time until after Roxie saves Cassie. The real Gregory was also talking to Cassie through the mic in the elevator as well. The files also state that it was the real Roxy that went to Cassie at the very end. Cassie’s fate is left unknown but Roxy apparently saved her. The game still left questions as to who is Gregory? Who is Cassie’s dad? And what is Cassie’s ultimate fate now that Gregory betrayed her.
It's sad knowing that Cassie doesn't have any friend except Gregory and Roxy. Roxy seems surpassed whatever corrupting her and Cassie is the only one made that happen
Well remember, this takes place after the save Vanny ending, which also freed all of the animatronics from Glitchtrap. The only reason they attack you in the DLC is because M.X.E.S (a security system installed by Vanessa and Gregory) instructed them to after it found out Cassie was going to release the Mimick. That's why Roxy was the final node. And because she had a preexisting relationship with Cassie, she stopped being hostile after she found out she was the one she was chasing. At this point, the only reason she's aggressive toward Gregory is because he wrecked her body and took her eyes, not because of anything to do with Glitchtrap.
Maybe, it would still make sense for her to want said eyes. She's fairly cosmeticly focused. It might also Just be very poor eyeside thats why she want's her eyes back, for sharper sight.
she likely has some sort of radar-type sensors, given that she's an animatronic designed to be able to navigate the entire Pizzaplex unassisted. sure, she almost certainly has a map of it stored somewhere in her system, but if you think about it, it can't be all that efficient. kind of like the issue with self-driving cars, even with the best of GPS you still need more. there would be kids running around, there would be displaced tables, there would be blocked paths and boxes stacked in odd places. you don't want an animatronic that requires clear pathways even in service areas and that can't see people to keep from bumping into them. camera sight would be used for the more refined details, like being able to see the pattern on a child's shirt, but she likely still has a basic collision-avoidance type vision

We receive Chicas voice box after completing the Chicas Feeding Frenzy arcade game. Monty's legs can be found in the game. Presumably, you receive them if you get a low enough score on Montys Gator Golf.

my theory of why Roxy is friendly with Cassie like how Freddy is friendly with Gregory is that when kids have their birthday party at the Pizzaplex, children can choose their favorite member of the band who is then being programmed, to be extra friendly and supportive to the birthday child, something that remains in some sort of memory bank

Same from all of the other animatronic Roxy interested me alot since in hindsight she looks like a narcissist but she's someone who have alot of insecurity of herself, (hyping herself up to find Gregory, convincing herself that she's not a loser because she didn't find him, crying after she failed and etc)
Roxy used to be my least favorite animatronic, but now I feel awful that I hated her that much in the base game. I cried when I first saw that cutscene where you deactivate them. They did such a good job redeeming her.
Honestly glad they did this sort of thing, although I'm disappointed that Monty at this point in the game, well, wasn't really made with a personality and more of a killer instinctual mindset with surprisingly deep origins? Is interesting. I didn't like Roxy too much at first but I will admit, although it didn't require as much building as Freddy and gregory, it was albeit sadder when Roxy was deactivated. Ruin honestly redeemed Security Breach.
In the files, it says who the Mimic is mimicking. Roxy's voice in the credits wasn't the Mimic if I recall correctly. Also, if we're to assume that we're still in Cassie's POV during the credit roll, it would mean that Cassie herself would be hearing Roxy at the end. Furthermore, Cassie's body position when the elevator fell is actually very ideal when it comes to surviving a falling elevator, so her chance of survival is reasonable.
Yeah. This is after the save Vanny ending, so all the animatronics should be free from Glitchtrap. She's really only hostile at this point because she's holding a grudge over her eyes, and even then, it's only to Greg.

0:50 how this quick moment can change the perception of the character, especially You can see the confusion in Roxy's behaviour when she heard Cassie's voice.
I heard her say "Don't hurt her" and "Give up, you can't win". Edit: I misheard. She never said "Don't hurt her", cuz in game files never had that line.
For all SB's flaws, I like how it makes the animatronics seem like charming characters that children would actually be drawn to. I like how Ruin shows the true programming of characters like Sun and Roxy.

Here what I thinks compared to freddy he was more intelligent, his speech and actions were almost human however when roxy was stuck under the vehicle she speaks to Cassie like any other child when there's a party but when Cassie turn her off and later came back to save Cassie her voice wasn't a robotic and more human which means Cassie turn off roxys birthday program and became free from the program that was implemented
Now we just need Chica and Monty to find a child that can bring out their true self. (If they're y'know, still functional after this dlc). It's VERY implied that the Glamrock animatronics aren't inherently bad. They were just infected with the Afton glitch/virus (minus Freddy). At their core they actually do care about kids, and it would be interesting to see Monty and Chica's more caring side. Edit: it has been brought to my attention that Monty has in fact always been a violent feral gator even before the Afton Virus. So looks like Chica is the only one who hopefully has a chance at be a caring momma chicken 👍
Markiplier can take Monty since he laughs at him and calls him a dog and chica I think can join Cassie since Cassie does end up giving chica her voice box back

Being honest this dlc made me feel bad for Roxy and the part where we “deactivate” her actual made me a sad. This dlc did one thing it is make Roxy my favorite of the four

Roxy was my favorite character before ruin. Knowing she was only an antagonist because of Gregory and she’s not actually rude makes her even more my favorite
I feel so sad when she respected Cassie after hearing her voice, ("GIVE ME BACK MY EYES! AH!" "Let go! Let go!!" "oh.. I'm sorry.. I- error..") it really shows how much she changed after being 'the best' but now she really is. and the scene where she has to disable Roxy "I remember your special day." "If I remember correctly, it is on the 11th. I remember, because you are number 1, twice." "Have you booked your party? I'm sure your friends will show up this time!" Who would've though Roxy was the good one
Roxy became my favorite animatronic after this DLC, but especially because of one line: "I'm sorry." It was the first time she showed awareness about the damage her destructive behavior was causing. That and her relationship with Cassie won me completely over.
The way Roxy talks to Cassie is so splendid! I tried hard not to cry, but, when she said: -Im sure your friends will show up this time :)- It gave me the rest *dies of crying*
Roxy was a security node, to keep the Mimic locked up, meaning Roxy was inherently good. Freddy wasn't in the AR network at all. And Monty and Chica were not security nodes, but part of the AR network, meaning the Mimic and/or Vanny/Glitchtrap corrupted them. MXES must've protected Roxy from being corrupted as she was a vital security node, but with how she talks to herself in Security Breach, it makes me wonder if she was either partially corrupted or has more than 1 soul in her endoskeleton... or maybe her personality is just programmed that way. She definitely has self-esteem issues, that at times, borderline on narcissistic. And as scary as it can be to have an animatronic wolf hunting you, we now also know that Roxy can be tender and caring. Gregory causing damage and ripping out her eyes just made her angry and just exasperated her self-esteem issues. Roxy is definitely a much more interesting character now and one of my favorites!
I love how just like Freddy, having a superstar (aka Gregory). Roxanne having Cassie as a friend. And being so nice and caring with her. Even protecting her. I also hope that can happen with the others at some point. The two were really nice together
I’ll be honest. I did like Roxy and really did pity her. I kind of related to her problems with self-worth, not to mention my first dog was a cute little girl called Roxy so that was a one-two punch. So i did feel really bad about doing what Gregory had to in Security Breach, especially the state she’s left in. Let’s face it, the animatronic A.I have enough personality to develop genuine psychological issues, the characters are almost human. Not to mention they’re reprogrammed to be killers rather than being intrinsically evil so it’s not really their fault. And you can see here that Roxy defaults back to her programming when meeting Cassie and even says some reassuring things about her friends coming along next time, she didn’t have to be nice. And then going so far to fight off the Mimic? That’s likely not something in her programming but a conclusion she arrived at herself. And I kind of love that, I just hope she’s ok (or at least functional and fixable) after all is said and done.
1:02 Never thought that I'd get remotely emotional over any of the animatronics in the FNAF series but my god, this scene touched me when I first saw it. Knowing that Cassie didn't have any friends except Roxanne and Gregory and the only ones to turn up to her party were those two. Roxanne was always my personal favourite in SB but this DLC really cemented that opinion for me.
I love when you uses the camera audio lures, for everyone else it plays Cassie calling out to Gregory, but in the Roxy segment, it plays Gregory’s actual voice
If steel wool makes ruin part 2 or another mineline game and you can fix roxy to look brand new then they have my blessing to be the company that takes over fnaf when the time eventually comes.
I can really say that Roxy's way of acting towards Cassie is really what she was programmed to be: a kind and sweet animatronic. William's virus possibly just caused Roxy to awaken the opposite of her personality. someone rude, sour, narcissistic and extremely violent. the same can be seen in monty and chica: chica was programmed to be fit and have good self-control regarding food and teaching children to eat well, however in the game she clearly has some kind of binge eating with pizza and eats junk, like a real chicken would do. Monty is pretty obvious: he's supposed to be patient and have good concentration, but in the game he's clearly the most violent, and has serious temperament problems. so much so that its attraction is a golf course, a sport that requires patience and concentration.
Right after that you hear a lot of grunting then a loud bang and then mimic chases you I think that loud bang is roxy getting knocked out to the floor after the mimic decides it had enough of her
I feel so bad for roxy and you can tell how much roxy cares about cassie since she immediately regonized her voice a let go because she thought it was Gregory
I like to think the exact moment all of the negative feelings roxy was wallowing in got pushed to the side as soon as she heard Cassie and let go of her. that any remnants of the glitchtrap virus in roxy's system was completely booted out by her little error ( 0:59 ) much like how freddy avoided the glitch in SB by breaking down and rebooting before the virus hit all the animatronics

I know I’m stating the obvious there, but some people had the theory of ‘Freddy being the only truly good animatronic’, but in this case it’s evident that Vanessa basically just tampered with the criminal database within the main four. I like to believe the reason it didn’t work on Freddy is because of the whole Michael theory, but idk. Just find the Roxy scenes super sad 😭
It's strange how so far two of them appeared to be able to fight outside control and be themselves when faced with a certain kid. For Freddy it was Gregory and for Roxie it's Cassie. What made them so special?
nothing, its just coincidence. gregory just get in right after freddy rebooted in safe mode, while cassie meet roxy after the canon ending deleted the virus infecting her. as for chica and monty their cpu got crushed resulting in feral behaviour.
First off was that one of the terminator endoskeleton that was made by Skynet, secondly I love Roxy and i do not want her dead so thank god that Scott Cawthon kept her alive.

Maybe, it would still make sense for her to want said eyes. She's fairly cosmeticly focused. It might also Just be very poor eyeside thats why she want's her eyes back, for sharper sight.
I think she can "sense" you when you put on the mask, in the same way that the Endos suddenly stop caring.
Or she can hear you. She’s got good enough hearing.
She is capable of hearing and smelling based on security breach. That's all a blind dog needs
she likely has some sort of radar-type sensors, given that she's an animatronic designed to be able to navigate the entire Pizzaplex unassisted. sure, she almost certainly has a map of it stored somewhere in her system, but if you think about it, it can't be all that efficient. kind of like the issue with self-driving cars, even with the best of GPS you still need more. there would be kids running around, there would be displaced tables, there would be blocked paths and boxes stacked in odd places. you don't want an animatronic that requires clear pathways even in service areas and that can't see people to keep from bumping into them. camera sight would be used for the more refined details, like being able to see the pattern on a child's shirt, but she likely still has a basic collision-avoidance type vision
Roxy deserved more screen time.

is that when kids have their birthday party at the Pizzaplex, children can choose their favorite member of the band
who is then being programmed, to be extra friendly and supportive to the birthday child, something that remains in some sort of memory bank

Roxy used to be my least favorite animatronic, but now I feel awful that I hated her that much in the base game. I cried when I first saw that cutscene where you deactivate them. They did such a good job redeeming her.
Honestly glad they did this sort of thing, although I'm disappointed that Monty at this point in the game, well, wasn't really made with a personality and more of a killer instinctual mindset with surprisingly deep origins? Is interesting. I didn't like Roxy too much at first but I will admit, although it didn't require as much building as Freddy and gregory, it was albeit sadder when Roxy was deactivated. Ruin honestly redeemed Security Breach.

In the files, it says who the Mimic is mimicking. Roxy's voice in the credits wasn't the Mimic if I recall correctly.
Also, if we're to assume that we're still in Cassie's POV during the credit roll, it would mean that Cassie herself would be hearing Roxy at the end.
Furthermore, Cassie's body position when the elevator fell is actually very ideal when it comes to surviving a falling elevator, so her chance of survival is reasonable.
At this point the poor dear didn't even care about catching/potentially killing Gregory...she just wanted her eyes back.
Yeah. This is after the save Vanny ending, so all the animatronics should be free from Glitchtrap. She's really only hostile at this point because she's holding a grudge over her eyes, and even then, it's only to Greg.

For all SB's flaws, I like how it makes the animatronics seem like charming characters that children would actually be drawn to. I like how Ruin shows the true programming of characters like Sun and Roxy.
Roxy definitely became my favorite glamrock after the ruin DLC.

Here what I thinks compared to freddy he was more intelligent, his speech and actions were almost human however when roxy was stuck under the vehicle she speaks to Cassie like any other child when there's a party but when Cassie turn her off and later came back to save Cassie her voice wasn't a robotic and more human which means Cassie turn off roxys birthday program and became free from the program that was implemented
I knew Roxy wasn’t evil.
Now we just need Chica and Monty to find a child that can bring out their true self. (If they're y'know, still functional after this dlc).
It's VERY implied that the Glamrock animatronics aren't inherently bad. They were just infected with the Afton glitch/virus (minus Freddy). At their core they actually do care about kids, and it would be interesting to see Monty and Chica's more caring side.
Edit: it has been brought to my attention that Monty has in fact always been a violent feral gator even before the Afton Virus. So looks like Chica is the only one who hopefully has a chance at be a caring momma chicken 👍
Markiplier can take Monty since he laughs at him and calls him a dog and chica I think can join Cassie since Cassie does end up giving chica her voice box back

I wish there was an option to not deactivate her and repair her to defeat the mimic
Roxy was a security node, to keep the Mimic locked up, meaning Roxy was inherently good. Freddy wasn't in the AR network at all. And Monty and Chica were not security nodes, but part of the AR network, meaning the Mimic and/or Vanny/Glitchtrap corrupted them. MXES must've protected Roxy from being corrupted as she was a vital security node, but with how she talks to herself in Security Breach, it makes me wonder if she was either partially corrupted or has more than 1 soul in her endoskeleton... or maybe her personality is just programmed that way. She definitely has self-esteem issues, that at times, borderline on narcissistic. And as scary as it can be to have an animatronic wolf hunting you, we now also know that Roxy can be tender and caring. Gregory causing damage and ripping out her eyes just made her angry and just exasperated her self-esteem issues.
Roxy is definitely a much more interesting character now and one of my favorites!

I’ll be honest. I did like Roxy and really did pity her. I kind of related to her problems with self-worth, not to mention my first dog was a cute little girl called Roxy so that was a one-two punch.
So i did feel really bad about doing what Gregory had to in Security Breach, especially the state she’s left in.
Let’s face it, the animatronic A.I have enough personality to develop genuine psychological issues, the characters are almost human.
Not to mention they’re reprogrammed to be killers rather than being intrinsically evil so it’s not really their fault.
And you can see here that Roxy defaults back to her programming when meeting Cassie and even says some reassuring things about her friends coming along next time, she didn’t have to be nice.
And then going so far to fight off the Mimic? That’s likely not something in her programming but a conclusion she arrived at herself. And I kind of love that, I just hope she’s ok (or at least functional and fixable) after all is said and done.
Roxy is the only animatronic I love because she redeems herself and I hope she will return in the next game to rescue cassie and be rebuilt again

1:02 Never thought that I'd get remotely emotional over any of the animatronics in the FNAF series but my god, this scene touched me when I first saw it. Knowing that Cassie didn't have any friends except Roxanne and Gregory and the only ones to turn up to her party were those two. Roxanne was always my personal favourite in SB but this DLC really cemented that opinion for me.

I can really say that Roxy's way of acting towards Cassie is really what she was programmed to be: a kind and sweet animatronic. William's virus possibly just caused Roxy to awaken the opposite of her personality. someone rude, sour, narcissistic and extremely violent. the same can be seen in monty and chica: chica was programmed to be fit and have good self-control regarding food and teaching children to eat well, however in the game she clearly has some kind of binge eating with pizza and eats junk, like a real chicken would do. Monty is pretty obvious: he's supposed to be patient and have good concentration, but in the game he's clearly the most violent, and has serious temperament problems. so much so that its attraction is a golf course, a sport that requires patience and concentration.

I know I’m stating the obvious there, but some people had the theory of ‘Freddy being the only truly good animatronic’, but in this case it’s evident that Vanessa basically just tampered with the criminal database within the main four. I like to believe the reason it didn’t work on Freddy is because of the whole Michael theory, but idk. Just find the Roxy scenes super sad 😭

With Cassie, it’s understandable. Roxy knows her, she’s her friend. I think Gregory was only safe because Freddy was in safe mode.
