Newer gaurds will hit harder then old ones with only couple stars compared to maxed so practice in musketeer fort

Look at the guards closer, Elio does NOT have the shred effect. Instead he capitalizes on the shred affect. So you have to pair them up properly or you won't get the extra damage.

Should I prioritize upgrading my distance troops over my infantry troops?
Both are equally important. Maybe because of guards do distance first but I would quickly do infantry next.
