I do love that the always underestimated Obi-wan defeats Sidious in what's essentially a 1v1. It makes decent sense too, because without Sidious having openings to dominate the confrontation with the force, Obi-wans perfection of the greatest defensive form is the perfect counter to how most sith fight.
This is probably one of the few stories where obi-wan actually not only defeated Sidous in a 1v1 but did so without dying himself, killing him in a surprise attack, or without sustaining critical injuries himself.
Also Sidious was cocky and spiteful towards Obi Wan after he defeated Maul Sidious being cocky because he saw it as luck and spiteful because he saw Obi Wan as the weakest of all the Jedi and nothing special if his lightsaber form even when Obi Wan became a Jedi Master on the council.
It was definitely different. It is weird that at this point I kind of want an OP Obi-Wan story? We had Op Anakin with Anakin reaching his full potential among others, and Op Ahsoka with her gaining the daughter’s powers. I think it’s time Obi-Wan got some love. Perhaps have him become one with the force while he was still living or something.
I can imagine the clones being sad at the beginning but having the "The mission must go on" mindset until a couple of weeks later they can, and will, kill on sight anyone who dares say something bad about general Drallig.

100% agreed here. Anakin was already equal to dooku at this point at duels in the original timeline, even managed to kill him eventually (with the help of obi wan and after getting knocked out). In this scenario, with extra intensive training in every form, more confidence and balance, without the stress of the visions about padme, and 2 guards on his side? Dooku should've been obliterated, and not even close. The story would've been more realistic if it was sidious with dooku vs them, ending with guards and dooku dead and the same torture thing on anakin. Not only it's more credible, but torture and manipulation through dispair is palpatine's MO and he could've done this after feeling pressured by balanced anakin to try turn him on his side.
Palpatine would probably make something up to stop the torture and hide the fact he was the cause of the nightmares using a alter he got at sith r Us or something
He calls Anakin an amateur and Palpatine boasts he's way better are torturing people, probably. If Palpatine can't escape and he's doomed, probably goads Anakin into giving into his rage in the hopes Anakin will fall to the dark side anyways as a consolation prize.
I think it might be my favorite Star Wars "What if" so far, it doesn't go too far with non-sense plot changes or abnormal behaviors from specific characters and it's truely interesting, I would genuinely love to see that happen in a special film/series that takes the risk to explore a "What if" scenario

My immediate interpretation was the former, even though i suspect you intended it to be the latter. I believe the usage of the phrase "before being killed" is what caused this ambiguity, as "being" in this context implies that the action its preceding is happening, so i suggest instead using "before they could be killed" as that removes any ambiguity around their survival
Great story, really enjoyed this one. Couple of suggestions: 1. What if Cin Drallig train Anakin Skywalker? 2. What if all of Qui-Gon Jinns knowledge was passed to Anakin when he died? (Would he be driven to the Sith sooner due to his rapid growth, would he force the Jedi to change, or take his own path across the galaxy?)
This was good i just really don't like Anikan getting maimed that way when he had untapped more of his potential. I feel like Anikan would have actually dominated dooku with 3 temple guards
So Anakin learns multiple different lightsaber forms and still loses his duel with Count Dooku. Might have been better if Dooku realises he's losing and kills the students as a parting shot. Anakin rushes to save the students and Dooku uses the opportunity to flee
I think it's a combination of both Anakin only recently having started learning the basics of each form and the fact he hasn't been in active combat since his promotion.

long post. You've been warned -- This idea came to me while watching older vids. Idea took hold and I ended up running with it as two videos went by before I realized it. What if Sheev had a split personality and Plagueis capitalized that? Plagueis would still discover Sheev, but he would initially be perplexed by the boy. At times he was gentle and loved life itself. Other times his rage took over, he was unbalanced, and the darkness surged within him. When the boy was soft, he was genuinely afraid of Plagueis and he couldn't train the boy how he wanted. Plagueis saw the darkness within the boy and he wanted to work with his dark half. And so, after much thought on the matter, he would force a conflict within the boy. One he could train and control and the other would be a tool of sorts. This, Sidious and Sheev were born. Sheev would be unaware of Sidious and Sidious would know of Sheev. While Sidious wouldn't be able to control Sheev, he could influence him. Plagueis would get his apprentice, he'd get a tool to manipulate, and he wouldn't have to worry about getting killed off by his student. Why? Plagueis would make it so that Sheev would be present during the day and while he "slept" Sidious was out to do what was necessary. Sidious would have too much to do to even consider killing his master. Sure, he'd probably want to, but that's as far as that line of thinking could possibly go. Sidious would be more reliant on his master, but a master of schemes and ideas. He could guide and influence Sheev to make moves or get involved in Politics, etc...but Sheev was an innocent. He thought everything was his own initiative. And this where this is get interesting. Sheev actually likes the Jedi. He's on good terms with them. This would both infuriate and please Sidious. Perhaps the Jedi could even back Sheev up to become Chancellor? Would it come sooner due to Sheev's own or planted ambitions? I believe Sidious would go after Dooku and "try" to make him his apprentice still.....but I also think that with his limited time being active, he'd end up turning him (and or Maul) over to Plagueis. Probably Maul at the very least. He wouldn't be able to deal with both of them in his allotted time. There would still be dark side artifacts around Sheev, but they would be there to ensure that Sidious came out when it was time...and even Sidious wouldn't know their true purpose. Gotta keep the little sith lord in check after all. Sidious would know how to hide his dark side and Sheev wouldn't have any need of it. This would mean that when the switch takes place, Sidious has to be masking his darkness or else be detected by the Council. I believe that events would transpire to the point as "somewhat" normal till Anakin is discovered. From there due to Sheev, Sidious, and Plagueis all around things would transpire differently. Sidious would see Anakin's potential as his way of gaining full control of himself and see him as the perfect pupil. Sheev doesn't really think anything of him save for the fact that he's quite talented for what he did at such a young age. Plagueis, while still obsessed also takes note of the boy And Sidious' mood shift (more obsessive, among others I'm sure). In this timeline, I actually would like to see Padme either captured, maimed, or killed off. Maimed to the point of "retiring" and disappearing. Captured in the sense she's put in a Seppy prison for the duration of the war. Killed off..... My line of thinking is that while there's nothing wrong with Anakin's traditional story - I'd like to see a new one. I like Padme, but not for this story. Hell, she could never actually interact with Anakin. That'd do the job. Besides, given all the sith activity in this timeline, there'd be more conflicts going on. Sheev's mental instability, Anakin's arrogance, the Council's complacency, Darkness stronger than in canon...yeah, I think things could get messy everywhere. An idea that keeps coming back as I'm writing this is that Anakin's arrogance forces the council to see their own arrogance....specifically Mace's - and he steps down from the council on his own journey (Plo or Shaak Ti' would take his place)...Taking Anakin with him to deal with the one thing they share in common - arrogance. Now wouldn't it be interesting if these two had their own Force Journey? Wonder how Mace would deal with Mortis or the Wills? Makes me laugh just thinking about it. Because of Sidious' limited control of Dooku, I could also see Dooku becoming disillusioned with the path he's Given himself over. Maybe he would even yield at Geonisis or arrange it for the clones to capture him? Frankly, it's about time Dooku gets a redemption arc. Maybe not returning to the Order, but definitely rejecting the darkness. Could be Qui-Gon's force essence at work. Then again, Plagueis could try the same thing he did with Sheev and Sidious with Dooku. Now that could be interesting. Though with Dooku/Tyranus a trigger word or phrase (in sith) would switch them over due to Jedi missions or whatnot. Yoda could even sense a strangeness in Dooku's mentality and purge the darkness from him at some point or another. -- In this timeline Sidious Could end up being a sleeper sith. Jedi and Anakin could deal with all the sith they know of and Sidious could end up being the last Sith - and undiscovered by the Jedi. This could mean that the Sith could arise again years down the road. Maybe he could get his hands on a holocron and instill everything he could into it, ensuring the Sith to rise again one day? Or maybe along the lines of having a clone body on standby (Carbonite) on Exegol. When his holocron is found and awoken, the finder would be drawn to Exegol and the Sith Eternal would transfer his essence from the holocron to the clone? As for when this would take place? Could be during Luke's time sometime. Maybe Luke could be old as "old Ben". -- Mind is still racing with ideas off of the initial scenario. Figure I'd best stop before my imagination takes over.
Weird choice to have Dooku single handedly defeat an Anakin that had learned directly from the other masters the lightsaber forms, as surely that further practice against lightsaber wielding opponents would have helped him become more skilled, and he did in the main cannon defeat Dooku with less of such practice and teaching. Like easily could have been Dooku and Greivous with a strike force and not changed too much of the end result.
Another really good story, can we get a similar story with a good outcome. I feel like Anakin after learning all the forms and teachings trying to protect his students definitely could have took doku.

I love seeing Obi-Wan taking Sidious's head after getting screwed by hom in the original timeline.
I think it might be my favorite Star Wars "What if" so far, it doesn't go too far with non-sense plot changes or abnormal behaviors from specific characters and it's truely interesting, I would genuinely love to see that happen in a special film/series that takes the risk to explore a "What if" scenario

I would suggest slightly rewording this section, because as it stands this can be read to imply that they escaped but were later killed, or that they escaped before the clones could kill them. My immediate interpretation was the former, even though i suspect you intended it to be the latter. I believe the usage of the phrase "before being killed" is what caused this ambiguity, as "being" in this context implies that the action its preceding is happening, so i suggest instead using "before they could be killed" as that removes any ambiguity around their survival

1. What if Cin Drallig train Anakin Skywalker?
2. What if all of Qui-Gon Jinns knowledge was passed to Anakin when he died? (Would he be driven to the Sith sooner due to his rapid growth, would he force the Jedi to change, or take his own path across the galaxy?)

So Anakin learns multiple different lightsaber forms and still loses his duel with Count Dooku. Might have been better if Dooku realises he's losing and kills the students as a parting shot. Anakin rushes to save the students and Dooku uses the opportunity to flee
I think it's a combination of both Anakin only recently having started learning the basics of each form and the fact he hasn't been in active combat since his promotion.

And with your right hand. He Fall To the Dark Side not because, he owned Diem So. Depa Fall To The Dark Side not because, she owned Juyo. And Vaapad. Аnd Sora Bulq Fall To The Dark Side because, he decided he had already surpassed Mace's Mastery of Juyo. And Vaapad and not because, he owned them. Therefore, there is no good reason why Anakin, as a Jedi Padawan, should not learn to wield Juyo. And Vaapad. Depa could teach him how to use them if Mace refused to teach Anakin Juyo. And Vaapad. Anakin owned Diem So. And Ataru did not fall successfully. Fully. And inevitably to the Dark Side. And Diem So. And Ataru has quite aggressive Lightsaber Fighting Styles. This idea came to me while watching older vids. Idea took hold and I ended up running with it as two videos went by before I realized it.
What if Sheev had a split personality and Plagueis capitalized that?
Plagueis would still discover Sheev, but he would initially be perplexed by the boy. At times he was gentle and loved life itself. Other times his rage took over, he was unbalanced, and the darkness surged within him. When the boy was soft, he was genuinely afraid of Plagueis and he couldn't train the boy how he wanted.
Plagueis saw the darkness within the boy and he wanted to work with his dark half. And so, after much thought on the matter, he would force a conflict within the boy. One he could train and control and the other would be a tool of sorts. This, Sidious and Sheev were born.
Sheev would be unaware of Sidious and Sidious would know of Sheev. While Sidious wouldn't be able to control Sheev, he could influence him.
Plagueis would get his apprentice, he'd get a tool to manipulate, and he wouldn't have to worry about getting killed off by his student. Why? Plagueis would make it so that Sheev would be present during the day and while he "slept" Sidious was out to do what was necessary. Sidious would have too much to do to even consider killing his master. Sure, he'd probably want to, but that's as far as that line of thinking could possibly go.
Sidious would be more reliant on his master, but a master of schemes and ideas. He could guide and influence Sheev to make moves or get involved in Politics, etc...but Sheev was an innocent. He thought everything was his own initiative.
And this where this is get interesting. Sheev actually likes the Jedi. He's on good terms with them. This would both infuriate and please Sidious. Perhaps the Jedi could even back Sheev up to become Chancellor? Would it come sooner due to Sheev's own or planted ambitions?
I believe Sidious would go after Dooku and "try" to make him his apprentice still.....but I also think that with his limited time being active, he'd end up turning him (and or Maul) over to Plagueis. Probably Maul at the very least. He wouldn't be able to deal with both of them in his allotted time.
There would still be dark side artifacts around Sheev, but they would be there to ensure that Sidious came out when it was time...and even Sidious wouldn't know their true purpose. Gotta keep the little sith lord in check after all.
Sidious would know how to hide his dark side and Sheev wouldn't have any need of it. This would mean that when the switch takes place, Sidious has to be masking his darkness or else be detected by the Council.
I believe that events would transpire to the point as "somewhat" normal till Anakin is discovered. From there due to Sheev, Sidious, and Plagueis all around things would transpire differently.
Sidious would see Anakin's potential as his way of gaining full control of himself and see him as the perfect pupil. Sheev doesn't really think anything of him save for the fact that he's quite talented for what he did at such a young age. Plagueis, while still obsessed also takes note of the boy And Sidious' mood shift (more obsessive, among others I'm sure).
In this timeline, I actually would like to see Padme either captured, maimed, or killed off. Maimed to the point of "retiring" and disappearing. Captured in the sense she's put in a Seppy prison for the duration of the war. Killed off..... My line of thinking is that while there's nothing wrong with Anakin's traditional story - I'd like to see a new one. I like Padme, but not for this story.
Hell, she could never actually interact with Anakin. That'd do the job. Besides, given all the sith activity in this timeline, there'd be more conflicts going on. Sheev's mental instability, Anakin's arrogance, the Council's complacency, Darkness stronger than in canon...yeah, I think things could get messy everywhere.
An idea that keeps coming back as I'm writing this is that Anakin's arrogance forces the council to see their own arrogance....specifically Mace's - and he steps down from the council on his own journey (Plo or Shaak Ti' would take his place)...Taking Anakin with him to deal with the one thing they share in common - arrogance. Now wouldn't it be interesting if these two had their own Force Journey? Wonder how Mace would deal with Mortis or the Wills? Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
Because of Sidious' limited control of Dooku, I could also see Dooku becoming disillusioned with the path he's Given himself over. Maybe he would even yield at Geonisis or arrange it for the clones to capture him? Frankly, it's about time Dooku gets a redemption arc. Maybe not returning to the Order, but definitely rejecting the darkness. Could be Qui-Gon's force essence at work.
Then again, Plagueis could try the same thing he did with Sheev and Sidious with Dooku. Now that could be interesting. Though with Dooku/Tyranus a trigger word or phrase (in sith) would switch them over due to Jedi missions or whatnot. Yoda could even sense a strangeness in Dooku's mentality and purge the darkness from him at some point or another.

In this timeline Sidious Could end up being a sleeper sith. Jedi and Anakin could deal with all the sith they know of and Sidious could end up being the last Sith - and undiscovered by the Jedi. This could mean that the Sith could arise again years down the road. Maybe he could get his hands on a holocron and instill everything he could into it, ensuring the Sith to rise again one day?
Or maybe along the lines of having a clone body on standby (Carbonite) on Exegol. When his holocron is found and awoken, the finder would be drawn to Exegol and the Sith Eternal would transfer his essence from the holocron to the clone? As for when this would take place? Could be during Luke's time sometime. Maybe Luke could be old as "old Ben".

Good story. But I just can't see this Anakin losing, even if he was caught off guard.
Weird choice to have Dooku single handedly defeat an Anakin that had learned directly from the other masters the lightsaber forms, as surely that further practice against lightsaber wielding opponents would have helped him become more skilled, and he did in the main cannon defeat Dooku with less of such practice and teaching.
Like easily could have been Dooku and Greivous with a strike force and not changed too much of the end result.
