One of the best, in-depth, car review I have ever watched on TH-cam! Congratulations!
Really great reviews man! Great job of mentioning every single thing in these vehicles! down to to touch and sound of the hard plastic buttons clicking. #awesome
Good review. I just test drived the Tiguan 2.0 diesel and the '13 Escape 1.6 over the weekend. The Tiguan Panorama roof feels much more open than the Escape. However, the ride was way better on the Escape. The body roll was awesome and the interior feel was much better met than the Tiguan. Of coure, Tiguan was a diesel with 140HP, but for the price tag... I would definately go with the Escape.
Good review man! I was impressed. Sooo much better than any others u have! So quick and to the point
i own both a V6 and new 2013 escape and I have to say the base 2.5l engine isn't that bad as far as power. It's a definite improvement on the 2011 2.5 as the shifts are much crisper and acceleration more immediate. What is different and a little annoying about the 2.5 is that it is not as smooth over the rpm range. The V6 is steady power, passing even WOT are uneventful. The 2.5 on the other hand will have you rocking back in your seat, especially off the line.
The Escape is quieter than the CR-V. The Escape in some ways plays to a different audience with more luxury features at a higher top-end price.
We have a Venza booked. Expect a review to be posted in around 4 weeks.
Concerning the explanation about air vents starting at about 2 minutes. You would have loved the AC vents on larger 1970s GM cars. They all had AC vents at the bottom of the steering wheels and the bottom of the glove box door that aimed cold area in a critical area. A feature that needs to be revived.
Nice review, been looking seriously at this vehicle to replace my older 4runner. Couldn't help but notice to were testing the vehicle around where I grew up. That last segment looked like you were coming down Trousdale.
I love that you used Millbrae as your backdrop here :) great review, it informed me a lot about the car and told me things I didn't know.
We were able to get a SE model with the 2.0L. I think he must have been driving the 4wheel drive version because those EPA numbers are off if your talking about the fFWD model.
Good review! By the way, how would you compare the Sound/Noise Insulation of the new Escape (Titanium) versus the new CRV? Which performs better in terms of having a 'quieter' interior and overall blocking of the road & engine noise? Thanks
Can you review a 2013 toyota venza? No one on youtube has done a proper review. You would get a ton of hits!!! Its a great suv and refreshed for 2013
They have a 2013 escape s model for sale here in pa so they do sell s models.
I have a 2013 escape sel 2.0 ecoboost it drives excellent!!
I live in the mountains and pass people like there standing still
Another excellent review Alex! The only problem I have with Ford is there quality issues. Ford/Lincoln is rated at the bottom with Jaguar in problems/quality.
No, every Brand excluding a couple have quality and reliability issues, from Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Kia (especially Kia), Hyundai , Chevy, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Ford. It matters on their year of launch really. I've owned several Brands over the years Toyota , Ford, Pontiac, Buick, Nissan, VW, Mitsubishi, Mercury, Hyundai, Dodge, Audi and several others that are older. Guess what ones actually failed or broke down on me? My Toyota Pickup broke down, my VW Jetta broke down, and my Audi broke down, my Subaru didn't break down but smoked and leaked oil from every seal, it was the biggest P.O.S. I've ever owned! I have owned 6 Ford's and not one of them have EVER broke down, and all of them got at least 250k-300k miles out of them if serviced correctly. People can say what about Ford but they are very good vehicles, and cheap to fix too. Ford's main problem , is whenever they re-launch they revamp everything , not leaving them the proper time to do ample testing required , but admirable attempts . Toyota does well with relaunch because they change very small things (mainly body work) on re launch of a vehicle model . (its cheating) with the premise that a model is all new when its really nothing of the sort. Toyota is good though ...
Well which is a more comfortable car the VW tiguan or the ford escape, hows the body roll, is it bothersome as in softly sprung CRV,RAV4,etc and how do u think FORD is improving with its european roots, the brand image has raised several lumps, does it still have enough image to take on Volkwagen?
Please do a toyota venza 2013 limited review! No one has done a review on it yet
I would like to know if there has been any change for the 2014 Ford Escape, or this review applies for it? And compared to the Toyota Rav4, which one do you recommend. Thanks.
Very good. thanks.
Good introduction!!! Is it the ink-blue colour?
Deep impact blue metallic
could you do the ford expedition?
nice
great video; be sure to check out my review of the Escape SE 2.0T AWD that we purchased, shot, produced and edited by someone who owns one of these things.

Also, did you shoot this on top of The Pike structure in Long Beach?
Blind? How does he see the touch screen?
I want a v6 model
Not necessary. I test drove a 2.0 turbo and it's very quick. I doubt you'd miss the extra two cylinders at all.
2012 was the last year with a v6 model
back seats had critically low space. WHY can't manufacturer put seats more back. dumb...
rav4 limited 2013
this must be the non self conflagration edition.
We are trying to get a Venza out of Toyota, stay tuned for more.
