Never forget how the game also says “MISS!” when you lose a life, just like in the Japanese version of Super Mario Sunshine, and all region versions of Mario Party 1, 2 and I believe 3 too. Not sure about the other ones but I know all the N64 ones say “MISS!” when you lose a minigame.

If you get the time, pleeease, the Honeyhive 1 skip as Mario, HOW?? I can't get the height on that jump at 18:25 to reach the tree. Idk if the positioning is just really tight or i'm missing something about the jump. I've done it as Luigi. Ik it's a lot to ask on a 2 yr old vid, but it's the only vid I've seen of someone pulling it off with Mario (without 2p co-op boost) so i'm just fascinated lol
It is pretty tight as Mario so try to replicate the angle closely. Also make sure to hold A while spinning as that gives you more height. Thanks for the kind words, not really running this game these days but always cool to see people interested :)

to save time, they are "counted" on the summary when youu get back. Shooting them makes them go away. He still need like 10000 for the luma missions but cuz its any% he skip them, its just a point to get to the end of the game and get the last bowser
Your Star Bits collected in the mission are counted back in the dome when you retrieve the star from that mission, and since there’s no way to skip this Star Bit counting screen, speedrunners like this one shoot out all the Star Bits they collected at the end of the mission, just before they collect the star.
@@umbresr8933 I'm pretty sure it's due to the fact that there are like 12 kingdoms in oddyssey and you have a certaint amount of moons to collect and some are really easy and you can collect them one right after the other. But stars take much longer to get in this game and you have to re-enter a galaxy to get another and the cutscenes are a huge part aswell.

Well, it's simple. Odyssey speedrunners are all automatically and intrinsically better than Galaxy speedrunners. Hope this helps
