Maruti Suzuki SLDA Software Update 1760.2 ( Oct 9, 2018) for Baleno, Ciaz, Brezza, Ignis

- Hi guys Maruti has just released the latest software update which is 1760.2 and 1860.2 for Eastern Countries for it's latest cars which are Baleno, Ciaz, Brezza, Ignis, Ertiga, New Swift, New Dzire.
Below are the problems that were in the previous version and are now resolved in the latest version :
1. SLDA may not respond properly while playing High Resolution videos.
2. Touchscreen not responding.
3. SLDA may reboot, when phone is connected through Bluetooth.
4. SLDA may not respond properly during playback of the last song through USB.
5. Carplay may not auto-connect during SLDA restarting
6. Audio from Radio may not be heard under specific conditions.

Applicable model : CIAZ ( ZDI+, ZXI+, ALPHA), S-Cross ( ZETA, ALPHA), ERTIGA ( ZDI+, ZXI+), BALENO ( ALPHA), VITARA BREZZA ( ZDI+), IGNIS ( ALPHA), NEW DZIRE ( ZDI+, ZXI+), NEW SWIFT (ZDI+, ZXI+)
Please note that this is official software update and the files are also original.
Precautions & Method to do the software update :
1. Download the zip file named "1760_2" from the dropbox link provided.
2. Extract the files in a USB pendrive
3. The pendrive should not contain any other files other than all 14 software files. Always ensure that 14 files are there before beginning the update.
4. Do not switch off the Accessory/Vehicle ignition/ SLDA display screen or crank the vehicle while software update is going on. It may corrupt the entire SLDA software. This may lead to SLDA replacement and such warranty claim will be put under rejection category.
4. Plug the USB in your car usb port and system will automatically start updating the software.
5. Do not panic if the screen turns black during software update ( this is normal).
6. The software update may restart again even after partial completion of update. This is a normal phenomenon.

Please follow the instructions in the video. Tried on my scross 2016, no issues. Do not panic if it restarts around 77% consider it to be a part of process. Took around 25 mins for me.
Thank you Techie Sihag! The update worked perfectly fine and the system is now updated to 1760.2. Your video also was of great help. My main issue was the carplay not auto connecting every time we stop and start the car. Now it’s sorted!

How to get downloaded files
I was facing an issue when I had the 1750 update. My iPhone X was pairing via bluetooth but I couldn't play songs as it showed 'device does not contain media files'. So I thought after this new update that issue will be solved.
I updated my system as per the steps you provided and it worked like a gem, but still the issue is persisting.
Sir the systen has built-in Apple CarPlay, are you using CarPlay?
Due to apple privacy issues, the system cannot directly read the music files of your iPhone , you need to connect via a USB cable to use apple CarPlay
By carplay it works! I want it to work through bluetooth. I can make calls also but playing music is an issue. Please help.

How do i update the navigation maps? i just bought a 2017 vitara and it has a memory card from the EU in it. I live in Barbados. How can i change it to North America to include Barbados in the navigation system?
I have tried to install the new firmware by downloading the image but when the Infotainment reboot after inserting the Pen Drive it says "Incompatible Software & the firmware upgrade is aborted"

A shame Suzuki and/or Bosch don't make their updates available to the public.You should be able to go to their website, enter your unit's serial number, and then just download the latest firmware. Also a shame to have to pay for latest map data, in 2019. At least there's Android Auto.
@@TechieSihag FWIW, I just took collection of my new 2019 Swift Sport, and it came with software version: *1770_181026* ... I haven't noticed anything different, and I haven't seen a changelog.

Apparently: "1770_181026 is not a major update. As per MSIL Circular, the 1770 update is intended to solve:
Driving at Night screen may illuminate sometimes.
Call by “Contact Name” not working sometimes, while calling through Bluetooth.
Bluetooth related issue with Apple IOS.
Altitude reading in “Position & GPS” info option had the least count of 1 km, after 999 meters, which has been now converted to 1 meter."

@@hemanthvishwanath9721 Okay make sure you don't have anything else on that pendrive other than those 14 files, that's it and then insert it into your car usb port and make sure the SLDA is in the ON state and then just wait, update will proceed automatically

I own a new Baleno 2019 facelift model(Top- end Diesel). What is the logic behind connecting mobile via USB cable is mandatory for Navigation?. Have you heard or tried to use the Navigation system on new model?.
Cable is required to connect with Android auto and if you wanna use google maps, otherwise if you wanna use company inbuilt maps function ( which is useless by the way) then no need for USB cable

Sir the files i have uploaded are official, i've got the files from Maruti Service Center itself (NEXA) and decided to share with public so people don't have to rush to Service center for the latest update

There's just one zip file named "1760_2" , unzip it in an empty pendrive, you'll get the 14 files

hi, i just bought new Ertiga which have this system does it support FM RDS function? i check online and found European and south African version does support.
The Unit does support FM RDS function but it's upto the FM stations, if they send more information than just normal radio frequency....if they send it our unit will certainly display that. We couldn't be certain if they send or not.
Techie Sihag In Delhi most FM station uses RDS function atleast for station name and some stations shows full details like song name artist name what next etc but this system is not showing even station name.
@@parasrajora9499 You might have gotten the user manual with the slda unit right? Open that and go to Page no. 29 in the FM/AM Section, there you will see it's mentioned "RDS is supported in this system" and more information on that

Techie Sihag on my infotainment system manual which is printed on oct 2018 RDS is not mentioned.

Hello Bro, I have got my s cross in 2016. My place is very rural. Only one service center where they don't know about android upgrade. When I bought this car, there is no android auto. Did 1760.2 upgrade on my own will help to use android auto? Or do I need to take my car to city service center which is more than 150 miles from my place.

Why are you downloading from Bosch website ? That isn't finished software, it's open source code which developers use to create original software.....please download from the link i have given and also there's a new update of this slda, i have posted a new video on my channel , check that out

Sir make sure there are no other files in your pendrive except those 14 files only, and make sure you use a USB 3.0 or above pendrive

Bro please make sure you are using USB 3.0 drive and only those 14 files are there in your pendrive and nothing else, in some cases it can take upto 1 minute for the setup process to show up

Yes it is....you just need to have the files, the sytem will warn you that you're downgrading but you can do so anyway

Just download the files from the link in the description and put them into the usb drive, simple!
Hii do we have to.copy the files along with the folder or just the diles in pen drive. I have copied only the files after extracting them to the pen drive not the folder and it does not restart the aystem when pluging it in. I am trying this in my baleno alpha. Please help
Bro sometimes it takes time, if you had to wait for more than 5 minutes just turn off your car and then wait for 2-3 minutes and then start the car again (not the engine unless you're feeling hot in summer 😂) and then try it again

hello again. do you have upgrade files for 1760.1 version? Actually i upgraded system because 1760.1 firmware have problem in Android Auto that when google map and and music from mobile is playing together the music cuts/stutters a lot also 1760.1 have FM problem where station keep switching to mono automatically which downgrades the music quality these 2 problem is solved in 1760.2 but android auto becomes slow i mean very slow. Today i was going somewhere and map showing my location 2.5 KM behind. the map was showing correct route and pointer is moving and distance was also decreasing but my location on map is 2.5km behind. i have to right turn but map shows turn is still 2.5KM ahead but actually it is exactly where i was.

Brother, to be honest I'm not happy with Maruti's system as well, infact I've raised a complaint against it, the system is so laggy that i want to throw this away from my car, i can't explain the level of frustration I'm going through because of this

Is the 1760 file for EU cars that will need the 1860 version or is there a different download for this.
1760 is for Asian Version, EU version is 1860, however you can try this and let me know if it works for you or not
Bhai thanks for this but i am not able to update my system. After inserting the pen drive nothing happened. I tried several times and waited for almost 10 to 12 mins so that it can boot up. But nothing happened
Brother please make sure you're pendrive had nothing but those 14 files in it....and pendrive format should be FAT32. Also please check the description of my video for more details

Yes sir I tried mi phone Android version 9 but I don't have another brand with andriod 11, but working fine realme 8s 5g andriod 11 in grand i10. I have already reset my phone settings and slda unit also

If you're connecting via usb cable to your car then Android auto work automatically

Carplay worked always since Android auto was released and I have added the files in description and process too

I cannot disclose official link because it's a private link which Maruti Gives to download files and no older SLDA units will not get the Suzuki Studio Update
