Thank you for this video Joe!!! Your so easy to listen to and watch. And a very intense topic. I was under spiritual warfare for allmost a straight year. But once youexperience it, its easy to spot among friends and family. Please be aware brothers and sisters and be strong.
And the teaching on HOW to abide in Christ is very, very important... All of God's wonderful promises are conditional and we need to know how we can apply the full armor of God 🙏🏽 Thank you for this message, looking forward to hearing the rest
Coming from a poor godless broken family and surroundings of endless negativity to say the least...I've always tried to separate my mind from what my eyes had bared witness to growing up. Believing my whole life just being a pretty good decent person (with what I now know were basically just above average social morals standards) was the way to the lord. After 42 years of existence, I now realize Im no closer to the lord then those living the lifestyles I've poorly done my best to separate myself from. I now also realize the Lord has always truly loved me and he alone has mercifully guided me along my path to him. I now have sought the Lord and asked him to hear my plead to know him and to forgive me for my naive and completely oblivious ways throughout life. I've been sober for over 3 months and I've been studying the gospel to the best of my ability and plan to be reborn when I can find a church that is worthy and true to the word. I know I don't deserve the grace of our Lord and Savior...I can only hope to one day fall within it.
Amen brother. So powerful that our Heavenly Father instilled the cognitive ability to divide ourselves from suffering even being so young and not having much control of our outer circumstances. He protected us within. To god be the glory🙌
Congratulations my friend, let the Lord guide you to a worthy church, a strong Bible based Christian, First Baptist Church nearest to you. Good luck , with your sobriety and with God anything is possible! God Bless.
@@annamoore4479 Thank you very much unfortunately baptist near me has become a faith alone once saved always saved teaching and scripture is clear that that is not the case.
Amen. Be careful with most baptist churches (not all). I believe annabaptist do not believe in once saved always saved (and there are some other baptist denominations that do not believe once saved always saved). I was going to a baptist church for about a year. I began a dicipleship program there with an older gentleman who had "been saved" for 44 years or so. About 6 months before I began being discipled there I had been very concerned about being deceived (based on all the different Bible versions and altering of Gods word). I cried out to God to show me his truth, and to give me truth, wisdom and knowledge, for his purposes for my life that I might walk with him in the way that he desires. In about the 5th or 6th discipleship lesson they Bagan telling me that there was no way I could ever lose my salvation. Which based on common sense made no sense at all. I asked him what if I go back to willfully sinning, I'mstill saved? He said all my past, present and future sins had been covered by Christs sacrifice. I said no, i feel you must strive not to sin and if you slip up the holy spirit should convict you, you repent with a serious contrite heart and move forward.we dont want to hurt our Lord. There is a difference between falling in dirt, and rolling in dirt! He wouldn't let me move into my next lessons until he got me some assurance. He said that I could have assurance in God's promises. I told him I don't doubt what God has promised. But I can't continue willfully sinning and think I'm gonna be saved. I told him I don't want to stand before Jesus and hear, depart from me I never knew you, you who practiced lawlessness. He told me Jesus is speaking to unbelievers in that passage. That makes no sense, unbelievers are not going to say Lord didn't we cast out demons in your name and do miracles in your name and do all these great things in your name. I was going to men's breakfast at a cornerstone bible church during this time of discipleship, just to be around other believers as much as I could. Each time the guy discipling me missed a week or held me from moving into the next lesson I would just read in the gospels. When I would begin my next lesson the very next men's breakfast I would go to would be teaching on the exact verses that was in in my discipleship lesson. This happened about 8 times in a 3 month span. Amazing!! God is soooo powerful!!! And he truly does care for us and wants us in his truth. I started to see that it was religion at that Baptist church, it was about conforming to what they were teaching. Picking a verse here or there, but not taking the verse in context. I started to read a little before the verse and a little after the verse to get the context of what the verse was saying (the 20/20 rule, 20 verses before the verse and 20 verses after the verse and it should give you the context)... even the king James bible they gave me to study and use was difficult for me to accept. I would read a verse and go to the notes at the bottom of the page and it was telling me differently from what I had just read. Things like Jesus saying any branches in him that do not produce good fruit will be cut off and thrown into the fire. Clearly soeaking about christians losing their salvation and going to hell. The study notes said, "this verse is not talking about the loss of salvation". What, are they serious?!The holy spirits job is to open Gods word to you. I pray for Gods truth , wisdom and knowledge for his purposed for my life, that his will is done in my life. Im praying that for you! Keep turning to the Lord and he will knit you into a body ofbelievers who ate truely walking with the Lord. Jesus must be the LORD OF YOUR LIFE!! Who sits on the throne of your heart, you or Jesus? Your will, or his? Remain prayerful. I'llbe praying for you!!@@ILTSC43
Pastor Joe have you watched Messiah 2030? And if so please let me know your thoughts the details and descriptions and timing is unexplainable and after you were able to open my eyes to post tribulation it’s even crazier to see it now
Great teaching Pastor Joe. I liked Heiser a lot but had similar concerns to his dismissive view of the origin of the Torah (Jesus said Moses wrote it, Heiser questions that).
I have read some of Heiser’s books and very much appreciate your view Joe in helping to keep biblical. Heiser recommended highly the Dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible, what is your view of this recommendation?
I liked Heiser and believe he had a deep love for God, but I stopped listening to his interviews and such because he was going beyond the scripture in significant ways.

Where did Jesus say Moses wrote the Torah?

I have about 75 resources on Logos and this is by far the greatest one.
I liked Heiser and believe he had a deep love for God, but I stopped listening to his interviews and such because he was going beyond the scripture in significant ways.
