The bag is truly gorgeous. And wow, just so wholesome. If we all went back to take care of our old textiles this way, the world would be so much healthier.
What a wonderful way to spend time with your daughters ❤ It is a case of making memories, while making a memory bag to store precious memories. Perfect!
Very cute, that (non so) randomly assmbling is very beautiful ! It will be nice to use this kind of bags for buying raw food and avoid craft paquets :) no wasting of garments anymore ❤ 😊
Oh its so beautiful, all that gorgeous hand stitching. I'd love to make one. I love patchwork. Thanks for showing us your process. Your daughters will enjoy them.
Absolutely delightful bag! I’ve been keeping the shirt collars and cuffs when I cut up an old shirt to re-use, but until now hadn’t found a use for them, but the non-interfaced parts will make perfect scraps for this sort of project, thank you! And I’m going to try a thimble like yours too.
This is such a sweet video! thank you for sharing with us :) Beautiful use of repurposed materials and making memories along the way :’) going to try this with some of my scrap fabrics. Oh and I loved seeing more of your workspace too!
Hey!!! Your video is very beautiful, I miss my little daughters too!!! These are beautiful memories!!! And the little bag, handmade, was adorable!! Thanks for sharing!!!
What a beautiful bag. I enjoyed watching this video very much. It makes me sort of sad that i got rid of all my girls old cloths so long ago . . . This is a beautiful way to repurpose and treasure with joy. ❤
Thank you😊 I usually choose a needle based on the fabric. If I’m stitching on fairly thin fabric or tightly woven fabric, I use a thinner needle. If I’m stitching on thicker fabric like canvas or denim, I’d choose a thick needle. In this video, I used a thin and short needle from a set of general sewing needles, and stitched a topstitch with an embroidery needle (I think it was size 3)😊
