80 Series Land Cruiser Thermostat Bypass O-Ring Replacement

In this video I replace the old deteriorated thermostat bypass o-rings on my 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser (1FZFE). These o-rings were flattened and not making a good seal which caused a minor coolant leak after I would park and noticed coolant under my truck.

Just a tip: Make sure you have a foam strip between the radiator and the core support. That way it draws all the air through the radiator for better cooling. Usually there is even foam between the radiator and the fan shroud as well. You might not think it matters but it does help and no one wants the headgasket to go do we? 😁
