Thank u George (&company) 4 showing 1& all the reality of the business….much work many miles traveled…not just stopping by somewhere & plucking loads of pretties easily…thx I enjoy ur vids so very much ❤️👍👏..oliver
Thanks for taking us along, guys. I don't know how you can stand the heat down there. We had some high eighties low nineties a couple of weeks ago...brutal! Now it's 50's-60's here.
Thank you George and Xeno for a great video. I don’t know how you cope with the heat! I love hearing all the interactions going on in the background. Keep up the good work boys! xxx
Hey George! I finally made it to watch this one. That was a nice flea market, and a lot of interesting things, too. This is one of those times one would nearly have to actually be there to see everything. I really liked the Kool Aid clock, and the Dr. Pepper clock, no matter if it was faded, would've come home with me. If this had been a live shop-along, and I could've gotten on for it, I would've been, "Stop!!! Get it!!! I want it!!!" There was a Goofus Glass bowl there that looked to be in good condition, too. It was a more common pattern, but finding any Goofus Glass in good condition is getting more and more difficult to do. I noticed a Nelson McCoy "Buccaneer" mug, at 56:06, and there was a primitive butter mold there I liked, too. I really enjoyed this video!!! Thanks for putting this one on like this!!!
I like the clocks too, my favorites! I will look for Dr. Pepper clocks for you. I did like the Buccaneer mug and didn't mention it...I do agree Goofus in good shape is tough now! Thank you so much for watching a lot of POV shots of the ground, you're a trooper but we're working on things we can try live
Hehehe. California Raisins, I heard it through the grapevine. This was unusual and nice to hear your conversation with Xenomorph and the dealers. Look at you playing the flute! We would still love to see you in person at the Roundtop/Warrenton Antique Week! This fall I believe it starts Oct 23 and runs through the 31. A bunch of Texas vintage fans & TH-camrs are trying to plan a meet-up. I know you can find a space in one of the big fields!
Hi George & Xeno! You were in my stomping grounds, in fact, i was @ Luke's Flea Mkt Tues. I didn't get a chance to do much buying, tho, i was on a mission, literally, as my friend & i set up a couple of tables to give away cold water, magnets, coloring books & tracts while witnessing. It was a little overcast, which scared some vendors away, so slim pickins when i did have a look around. I see you had better luck & got a few goodies! Yes, the crowded room was scary; been there, done that & when i did, got hooked on some barbed wire 😬. It took 2 of us to free me! What a catch, but fortunately for me, it was catch & release day 🤣
You were there? How did I miss you? I'm sorry I didn't stop to say hello, I went right to the sheds and a couple of dealers I know because I didn't have time to hit it all. I believe it about the barbed wire, I have gotten caught on a few things in some of those sheds! I hope your mission was successful
Actually, i was there this past tues & may have not been there the tues you were. Anything done in Jesus' name is successful 🙋♀️ & we had opportunity to meet alot if nice people 😁
Go back and save the Dairy Queen sign George. It’s worth 2 grand. Your welcome , from an Amateur reseller. If you ever pass by Gulf Shores/Foley AL you have a room! You have taught me so much with these vids! Thank you!
I'm glad to hear that! It was fun for me to see, a lot of people were less enthused but I think it's important to try things and I had viewers suggest a POV approach. I think the sort of thing that will grow into is my live channel content (although with much more experience and finesse lol)
I admit, I've bought and sold some cute Holly Hobbie stuff! I just revert to my 6 year old "that's gross stuff for girls" brain sometimes when things appear to my childhood lol
hi George & Xeno; thanks for showing your walk around the flea market; it's not an easy task in the heat & this more raw video shows some of the hard work of your livelihood. Do you ever wear a pedometer to track your own mileage? hope you're having a great day.
Thanks, I'm glad that's how it struck you, we were trying to get that across! It's different unedited for sure. I imagine I walk 3 miles at a good flea market or show
Sorry about that! It was an experiment with a POV camera view, if we do similar in future it'll be with more stability and experience and probably on the live channel
I love all of your videos. You are so informative and the things you show us are fascinating, however this particular video was hard to watch. Your friend who was helping you by filming gave us great shots of the ground, rocks, your backside etc. It literally gave me a headache. I watched the entire video but please go back to filming the other way.
Agree with you both, I normally love the Quality and style of your videos, George. This was a lot of gravel road and No zooming in on items to see what your were looking at, and none of your usual commentary which is so informative. I was so disappointed at this one. Please go back to your previous style. I couldn’t watch but a few minutes of this and turned it off. 😩
I agree with all these comments. George, I enjoy your explanation of items and I learn from your videos but not this one! Please go back to the way you usually do them.
as an early follower and not able to join into the fancy club thing i feel neglected so its time to part our ways. Whising you good travels and great fortunes. i unsubscribe. thank you for all the past joy and knowledge you gave will always have a warm place for you in my heart.
I'm not sure what you mean but I'm sorry to lose your following! This isn't really a fancy place by any means and you're certainly welcome anytime in my part of the TH-cam community
When I see videos like this I wonder why people do this? Hot, dusty and making barely any money, not to mention carting the stuff around/back and forth. Is there camaraderie between the vendors that make the whole selling junk worth while? I've never been to something like this, but when I was a kid I heard of a swap meet where men sold car parts. I guess what I mean is I don't understand.
I don't know what motivates the sellers, it seems like a place to dump leftovers and yet I find good things there on occasion. On the other hand, I'm grateful there is this level of the market because I find stuff to sell in a more active place
So many nice things there.. George your wife needs to feed you better, your so skinny. 🤗 when you come to texas I'm gonna take you to eat a big ol chicken fried steak. 💜💗♥️
It's just biology, my sister and I got the thin frame and my brother is more hardily built...but if you have a good Mexican restaurant where you are, I'm up for it!
I really only look for antiques/vintage and so I pass some things that other resellers would pick. I realize different people look at different things but I have certain notions of what I wish to buy and that's what I seek, plus at the time I filmed this I had a TON of stock I'd just bought elsewhere
Mixed bag of comments about this one, I've been bugged by some viewers to try a POV video and it's not everyone's cup of tea. I expect to primarily doing the type of thing I'm better known for in future
I swear I can feel the heat in this one. Whew! Lots of walking for so few treasures. Thanks for sharing!
It was a scorcher but fun!
Thank u George (&company) 4 showing 1& all the reality of the business….much work many miles traveled…not just stopping by somewhere & plucking loads of pretties easily…thx I enjoy ur vids so very much ❤️👍👏..oliver
Much appreciated, I know this isn't our usual but it was something new to try
I do think you are a genius. Love watching you shop.
Wow, thank you!
Thank you George and X another fun video. Nice pick ups.
Thank you for coming with us!

Brr! lol
Thank you!! ❤❤

Thank you Charlotte! It's so much fun to take you along

I sure want to do it! Vintage Uprising TX invited me too. Where's the best place to sell and stay?
Fun flea market and a beautiful day for treasure hunting! Thanks for taking us along! 🥰🥰🥰
I'm glad you liked it, a departure for us but fun to do!

That's great! I'm sure you're right, it's just so big for me to take anywhere
Loved the Holly Hobby tray, it matched your shirt😉--thanks for taking us along!
Thanks for watching! I had another person say it was a favorite too...when I was a kid it was a "girls are icky" thing but I appreciate her now
Looks like fun. Perfect antidote to work. By the way, the Dairy Queen logo always reminds me of the Stones or Rocky Horror Picture Show
Yes! Both of those
I kinda wanted to know how much they were asking for the giant Dairy Queen sign. I can't believe one was even available.
fun in the sun
Looks too hot to think! Thanks for sharing!
You have to be dedicated yes
Looks like a good time & much to see, happy hunting & take🌟👍🌟 care
Thanks, Linda! Good to see you here
Great video George! I guess the closest flea market here would be Kobeys Swapmeet in San Diego! Did you ever go there? Thanks for sharing!
Ooh I never have but I would! San Diego has cool stuff
The raymor vase @50:08 is 100% Bitossi. I hope you picked it up!
I wasn't sure it was, but I did! I lucked out, it was so cheap I flipped it to a dealer friend of mine in trade for something equally cool
I really enjoyed watching this video George! I liked the no editing style.

Great video, George. Bur it was really hard to hear you and the fastobing camera made me dizzy.😒
Sorry about that! It was an experiment with a POV camera view, if we do similar in future it'll be with more stability and experience and probably on the live channel
Lort has mercy. You look just like Vanna White in that pose.
Lol I should be that wrinkle free at my age
Gees! That’s a big Dairy Queen sign! I’d like to see my husband’s face if I came home with that! 😂
I can only imagine lol
Was that a Carlton ware big foot walking ware you bought?😃
Yes, I love those guys!
👍👍👍
Not much left late in the day…like the old style guitar sign
Yes it was not a gangbuster but still fun to shop

Agree, did not enjoy looking at the ground, did not watch much of this video

Totally agree. Disappointing.

Agreed. Horrible waste of time.
funny flute playing I used to play the flute you can't even put it together funny funny
I tried playing when I was a kid for a day...I guess it didn't stick!
My feet were starting to hurt 💗 🤷💓
That was different but great! Who spoke german?
Oh good, I'm glad you enjoyed our experiment! We both know ein bisschen Deutsch.

Would like more displayed items closeups!
You'll get that in 95% of my videos, this was just a response to viewer requests to do one thing unedited
Hey I know you wanted to try on that bright green hat but you were so tired and hot you kept walking I think that's the first!¡
True story! I usually do
WHAT TOWN WERE YOU IN AGAIN ?
Greenville KY

@@TheAntiqueNomad Thank you.
Beware buying old perfume as it goes rancid after time.
The scent changes a lot.
Especially once on your skin. 😉🤧
True! I always test first
So many nice things there..

Why aren't you picking up more

It looks like it’s all Junk Dealers, not Antique Dealers.
Mostly true, but there are usually just enough antique/vintage things to make it worthwhile as a reseller
Learn to carry the camera between booths guy, no offense , looking at the ground gets old
Who are you with
Xenomorph that day
You do a great job on your videos, this one not so great at all.
Mixed bag of comments about this one, I've been bugged by some viewers to try a POV video and it's not everyone's cup of tea. I expect to primarily doing the type of thing I'm better known for in future
I had a very hard time listening to this video. The sound didn’t seem to be as good as it it usually is.
