Would be nice to see how the stonewash of the micarta version looks. Its the only version with it but now pictures. Would be nice to see the final look before buying one. For me i wished they did that beauty belt satin also at the micarta version.

They also said they're going to make the pivot collars thinner. I don't know why, that looks great as it is.
What's up dude! The pivot size has been a struggle since round 1 protos! lol. But at this point we have the collar adjusted just slightly thinner still keeping that bulky look. I think it'll look just right!

I still don't get why and lament the fact they didn't want to slope the top of the flipper a bit more so that it could be gripped and flipped as a top flipper as well. I mean they jimped the top, but it's unusable. I know it would've broken up the closed form a bit, but I don't think it would've been bad looking.
Very interesting knife though, and great crisp sounds coming out of it.
You know I went through many design iterations and lots of them did have a taller/slopped front flipper tab. In the end I decided to keep it as low profile as I could. You see it so often makers/designers make that front flipper tab way to big and tall, or way to tall and pointy. I wanted to avoid that. There's so many ways of opening this knife, I know you'll still find joy without the top flipper function!

@@highgraindesigns Yeah generally they make front flippers with this unnecessary point in the front, glad you avoided doing that. I do love a good front/top flipper though!

@@qdp03 Actually no, the main handle inspiration came from the EVO. But yeah I can see the Mosier style too. Its just a comfy grip.

No way?? I tried to make something for everyone, but you can't please everyone! We will have custom scales, collars, and backspacers. High Grain Designs makes after market inlays and scales so it'll be a must!

R these m390 or magnacut because I see magnacut and an hrc on the website but then I keep hearing m390? I'm on the fence about getting it but I know if I don't ill super regret it.

Looks like the tip broke off or something lol. Looks strange imo
lol, I feel ya, but that's a style I like! Much like a razorblade its just super usable and looks mean. Inspiration came from berg slim, Vero Axon, and BB Yeager. Lots of the design lines and shape was also inspired by classic cars like DeVille and Nova. I knew the design wouldn't be for everyone, but its for me! My next design has a much more universally shaped blade, so I hope you dig that one!
