Russo sounds so sweet when she talks but on the pitch she truly is a Lioness terrifying defenders.
That's one of the many things for what I prefer women's football to men's football, the ladies even those among the best in the world are way more humble, down to earth and they show to care for their supporters, while a huge amount of male players are arrogant self entitled spoiled "childs" who live on their own bubbles of f*rts.

@@Mark_106 If I was the manager, I'd put Millie Bright on Popp and tell her to track Popp down for the entire game. The wingbacks will deal with their wingers. Their wingers will be putting in crosses that would either be blocked or cleared by Bright. Midfield, Stanway take on Buhl or Jule Brand with Keira Walsh taking care of the rest of the midfield. The attack will also spread out the work instead of relying on one player.

I love those 2. Honestly they are dynamic on and off the pitch. I think they will definitely do something special in the finals on Sunday. They are a wonderful duo. But when they are on the pitch, they are a defenders nightmare.

I have watched the women since 2014 after returning from some 8 years abroad in 13 various countries. Started to watch the women's game out of curiosity and have been a fan ever since. They are funny and have no inhibitions about looking a bit silly, as the men are!
2 off the best talents for both MU and England. If they ever leave MU and I hope they don't they'll both be counted as legends at MU with Mary Earps in my honest opinion
Manchester United need to be serious about the women team and do their best to keep those 2 along with Earps, Batlle, Groenen, etc for as long as possible, ofering them contracts worth the quality they have and showing commitment to reach European competitions.

@@ashyyyk8098 I've been criticizing Manchester United for not providing Casey Stoney with the investment the team needed and so "forcing" her to quit and then bringing Marc Skinner who was the worse manager I've seen in the NWSL, with him as manager Orlando Pride was constantly the worse team always underperforming in what is probably the most balanced and competitive league in the world, of course he was not the only reason, but he did his part, meanwhile Casey Stoney was tasked with building a new team and while new teams had in the 10 ytears of history of the NWSL strugled in their first season, her team is at the top of the table and one of the 3 best performing teams halfway in this season.
But the decision to keep Russo, Toone, do the best to convince Batlle ,Groenen, etc to stay depends on the club more than on Skinner and I want to believe those ppl may be smart enough to notice that having a great team with great players and aiming to compete on the UWCL may make the club earn more money than selling those players.
Just the superstar status that Russo is getting may provide the club with a lot of money with the people who just had discovered women's football and may want to watch Russo play or all the merchandishing they could sell around her.

Alessia Russo is my literal idol. The Lionesses show remarkable abilities, I only watch highlights of any match but they are better value than the England mens side without a doubt. I'm also glad to say theres support from the British coloured community, no one is calling the colour card on it.

I think this England team is really something special! It will be a tough game for sure, but i think they can do it! Based on our performances, we have to be favourites going into that game!
I don’t think they can stop Popp unfortunately. They were so poor against Spain, but luck was on their side. They will need to work hard because Germany are pretty relentless pressers with a lot of quality across the pitch

Last time I saw Popp was when the world Cup was held in Canada (2015) and England had a penalty against the Germans, when Popp was trying to put Fara Williams off when taking a penalty. It was the best penalty shot I've seen! as near to the post as one could get!
