I missed 9 but there were 50 statements, so I considerer myself a winner. I prefer to watch for the positive side: that I nailed 41 statements. Great video. Please so this again. It was really fun. My parents thought that I had been crazed when I spoke "one", "two", "two", "one", "one again" and so on... and pretty fast and loudly.

I really enjoy these tests, thank you. I scored 44 which was better than I expected, ever since I lost hearing in one ear I've had difficulty making out finer details in words. Context helps with deciding which word is correct, but you were clever in mixing them up so I had to really concentrate hard :)

I scored 48, way better than I expected. I got wrong Matt and Bit, glottal stops are a bit tricky to me.

Thanks so much Susanta, I really appreciate it! I don't run any groups, though that's an interesting idea to keep in mind:-) All the best!!

50 out of 50, no mistakes at all! Yay! Even not looking at your mouth I made it, because when we look it's easier to have a grasp of what you actually said, right? ^^

I made 8 tiny mistakes, it just when I listen to someone with this speed, I can't recognize some of the letters, but still, you really helped me Thank you so much, looking forward to seeing your next videos

oh this actually such a great exercise! Thank you sooo much!
I'd generally consider myself a near native-level speaker, depending on the vocabulary :P . However telling apart similar sounding words can still be a lot of trouble for me at times. It does not effect my listening comprehension all that much, but it's still something I'd like to improve at. And this is just perfect! Ironically tho, it's the same with japanese for me, just much MUCH worse. :D

Hi Victoria. I did the test once more, and my yesterday mistakes were: #8, #10, #21, #45. Today it's much better, because only 2 mistakes: #8 and #21. I hope if I see more of your videos I will understand your next test faultlessly.

Hi Emil, thanks so much for sharing! #21 seems to be the one that stumped most people. Feel free to check out some of my other "test" videos if you like, I have them in a playlist. Best wishes!!

I'm new here. I liked so much of it. But I understand that even a american make confusion of some word he will understand the context, but for me in some times I dont understand the context. How to improve it ? Tks

Thanks for your kind words! Just keep in improving the quality and quantity of your input (what you're listening to) and it will continue to improve over time. A favorite exercise of mine is here- th-cam.com/video/sLxlPZcaLyY/w-d-xo.html

Not if someone’s goal is to sound like a native speaker of English… In that case, the auditory perceptual system is a crucial component;)
