I sent it to a close m8 recently, listened, then saw the views and said "one of the most underrated song cover / video yet", I thought so too. He liked it much much more then the original version as well like me. He also said that the Flap-Bass gave a nice show (he's a guitarist). But perhaps it's because it's so rare, top of it's level. It should get much more attention but not too much so it won't lose it's magic.
Feels lucky I found it (Thanks to Jazz FM UK). Master genius cover, perfectionist.
It became one of my most favourite "winning/celebration-song" song in my personal playlist after tough days/big achievements completed challenges, successful exams etc. So pure. Great atmosphere.

Nothing like Acid Jazz. Just 24 btw (don't give up hope entirely on the young generations even that I was exposed to those genres in the first place mostly from dad but loved them naturally), I'm happy I could appreciate such unique amazing music rather then only mainstream like most people and my friends around my age.
I'm a big fan mainly of 1. Steely Dan Donald Fagen (pure genius perfectionist deep songs) too! and
2. Jamiroquai for instance slipin'n'slidin'.

Sky FM radio site Smooth Jazz - shows located from Pizza express Jazz club in London. Hopefully I might visit this club for the first time after the Corona Pandemic ends sometime.
Your cover gave me a very nice pleasant time and a big boost moral-boost push-up and joy during exams period studying (EEE Engineering student). Found myself listening to it in loops. Very atmospheric cool song really takes your mind off to outer wonderlands very mysterious, important especially during the lockdown. Beauty of music atmospheres and memories.
This cover could easily take/compete the deepest and most beauty songs of Steely Dan / Donald Fagen. And I listen to his music since 13 about since 2009 11/12 years ago.
