Hi Stephen We’ve shot Roe with 243 it’s a damn good round, we also shoot 25-06 with 117grain bullet. This caliber is good for Roe, Fallow and Red. It’s a lovely round to shoot.
@@eastcoastdeermanagement1987 I about 18 months ago I passed the DSC1. It was something I'd thought about doing for a bit. I'd been shooting air rifles for years and decided to go the next step after the kids had flown the coup. I now have a tikka t3x in .243 and a t1x in.17hmr. I've only been out a couple of times on a friend's permission. I've taken a young fallow buck which tasted great and I've also helped out by taking a fox or three 🤔👍
@@dominicjohnson8427 your very right, the stalks are never simple. Always a strategic method from the start and the odd tactical change from time to time. Thanks so much for commenting

Super thank you so much
Your ground appears to be very flat. I think id be tempted to put free standing highseats up to ensure a safe backstop. Good shooting👍
Thanks for your reply, yes we do have plenty of high seats up as well 👍🏼
Wot caliber do you prefer too use on the roe thanks

Hi
Whats the best place for deer hunting in or around Cambridgeshire
I’m not sure 🤔
Lovely job 👍🏻
Thanks so much. Do you do a bit of shooting also? Thanks for taking the time to comment 👍🏼

Good effort and keep up the deer stalking 👍🏼
@@eastcoastdeermanagement1987 I’d like to do more 👍🏻
Wouldn’t we all. All the best mate and thanks for getting in touch
Why was there a need for a follow up shot on a young roe doe?
Not sure on the question but missed one shot (naturally happens from time to tiMe) and followed up with another.
I wasn’t sure if you’d hit the deer on the first shot? Anyone that’s stalks deer for long enough will miss! It happens to the best of us
