      @@Boneteacher sir, can u pls tell which branch it was. I'm happy difficulty in choosing between medicine and radiology and I don't want to regret like that topper after joining. I'm already a dropper so can't imagine leaving a seat and studying again. I shall be highly obliged

    Hi sir
    I chose anaesthesiology because i didn’t get medicine from a top college
    And apart from many conflicting reviews and warnings from seniors about saturation and scope and no recognition, I am totally enjoying this branch and I am happy with it .
    I thank teachers like you and others whom I listened on and took a leap of faith .
    Everyday I look forward to attend icu postings in covid nowdays and even today I have just come from my night shift which though being hectic I totally enjoyed it ( apart from sampling work 😩).
    I suggest everyone who is entering residency ( marrying into a branch ) to see the branch in totality and not only cons or pros because one thing I have learned after I joined residency is that every branch is imp and every branch has a great scope . It’s upto us how well we utilises our time and energy in the deportment and not compare with other specialities as such .
    Thanks sir for such an inspiring videos

      Same with me..I leave the seat for medicine..which is highest earning branch ?

    • @rachitsinghal2529
      @rachitsinghal2529 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@iimer8163 once you enter college and start working in any department you forget about earning first day itself !! Their is ocean to be learnt and skills to mastered . Once you finish your residency you will realise that eating though necessary takes a back seat and professional satisfaction is what matters in the end . So chose a branch you like and not what sells in the market because branch will remain the same though market may change anytime !! So I hope you get my point . Tc

    Hii Abbas Ali sir!! Huge fan of yours...I followed ur techniques and got decent rank in NEET...I was the dumbest guy in my college..My aggregate was only 56% used to fail in my university exams and internals...In Final year I got 54 percent..Never thought if I ll be able to crack NEET...My aim was to get into one of the best Deemed college like Manipal Ramachandran JSS or KLE..(Medicine) but with my my hard work only...But deep inside I knew I can't ..Never had that much confidence..as I was never serious with my preperation...Started my preperation after seeing your videos...Slowly and gradually my rank got improved from 65 percentile to 85 percentile..during this time I started believing that i can get KMC manipal..Now final grand test of Marrow which was extremely tough and I managed to get 96 percentile ..That was the moment when I knew I have capability to get even Government medical college..I got 1400rank in PGI ,2K IN JIPMER despite my jipmer and pgi were not that great. THAT was the tIME when I STARTED GETTING DREAMS of Govt medical college..now in NEET exam,my badluck I couldn't manage time well as I was feeling so sleepy during the exam...I went to wash my face twice...I got devastated as I was so prepared for my exam but at the time of exam I couldn't do upto my expectations..I thought of getting around 30 40k rank.But in worst scenario also I managed to get 703 Mark and got 10k rank.
    Now main thing was councilling..I knew I can manage MD branches.... Now I was confused whether to go with medicine in JSS,Manipal or KLE, or anaesthesiology or Surgery Orthopaedics from govt college..I have my family hospital in UP. I asked my family members and I finally took Anaesthesiology listening to them..At first I was little hesitant as y my family members are saying Anaesthesia.But after working in the Department for 1 month, I can proudly say that i cant be much happier than in any other branch..I get time for myself at the same time I do procedures, do acute medicine plus some sort of surgical stuff..
    Whenever I see my professors and seniors saving life it feels so awesome that we are making some difference in someone's life.Whenever I see my professor doing emergency tracheostomy, doing cricothyrotomy, intubation when ur patient's AIRWAY filled with blood and secretions , saving a poisoning guy, saving young guy from Fat embolism, saving two lives at a time when mother presents with PPH with MASSIVE blood loss that sometimes one even cant feel a pulse and BP non recordable too, saving polytrauma patient with high blood sugars,neonatal resuscitation. ,I feel this is one of the best branches in medical curriculum...I see my seniors working with USG probe doing e fast at trauma bay, doing doppler in fat emboli suspected case, it feels so good to see them that I can be life saving physician plus radiologist plus surgeon plus medicine and sometimes neonatologist at a time..Sadly listening to the society mindset i felt bad that people consider this branch so inferior and fully saturated...I look for Covid ICU postings,. ..I always get adrenaline rush while working in the ICU .. I feel I m so lucky that I was feeling sleepy during NEET..Had I corrected 8 -10 questions more i would have taken Medicine and missed the beauty of this branch....Seriously whatever happens, happens for the best...Every branch is great...We are doctors and should be proud of that....my family members are now opening big ICU in the hospital..Hope I ll be a good intensivist in future..
    Sir thanx for your youtube videos.While having lunch or dinner I used to watch ur lectures and inspiration videos.
    I will follow your technique and hope I may get DM CC in my super speciality exams..
    Till then I ll live life to my best and save lives!!
    Thank u sir..

    Hi doc,i definately agree with the saying that- u make ur career and not the other way round..its so imp for all of us to think that no matter what the trend may be going on ,we need to be comfortable in our own shoes and outfit and put out our best foot fwd..so whatever we take up ,just give it the best!im 37,working last 11yrs in a PSU and while all my peers took up the residency path and r finally settling now,i decided to go the family way and take up a stable job to balance it.Now i want to pursue my dream of residency and im simultaneously studying for neet pg for the first time with a single minded interest in internal medicine..it doesn't matter if its a saturated field,like many say,but to me ,i know,im gonna give my best..my competition is not with others ,its with me trying to upgrade and excel..so loved every word u said..keep pouring in more such inspiring stories☺️

    Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma-which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truly want to become.

    Sir the last part of the video made my day ;
    When I was in 1st prof. I told biochem faculties to guide me on which field to choose and how to approach 5 yrs of MBBS so that I match eligibility criteria for those fields after it --- as I fixed my dream before entering college to choose a research field so that I know more about molecular pathogenesis of diseases and to find therapeutic solutions for those which are incurable or prognostically bad as of now .
    None helped me effectively to narrow down my goal and to focus on that as they were not in the same frequency of passion & imagination -- they even tried to redirect me towards 'clinics and money' which was never in my dream ---- finally after 3-4 yrs of confused disorganized activity I fixed my path to be 'cellular and molecular medicine' -- and as of now I have 2 persons I look up to --- who did MBBS from CMC vellore and now in UCSD .
    So I feel getting right guidance , right motivation , right aim , right exam prep are essential but extremely difficult

    In the end, it only matters how happy you feel with what you have done in life! You know who you are more than the people around you, so it's better to trust your own decisions..

    Searching for a mentor is tough
    But I realised we need not to judge them based on their thoughts,we always need to remember that their scales of success is different.
