My official Travis Scott AJ1 low ranking, based upon my personal subjective taste. 1. Reverse Mocha 2. Fragment Lows 3. Reverse Olive / Medium Olive 4. OG Mocha's 5. Olive (women's) 6. Elkins Canary Yellow 7. Phantom Black (I really like the white color blocking of the reverse mocha's and the two olive pairs, but as time has gone on and their are three iterations they have diminishing returns because they're similar and have been essentially done before. Therefore I could bump up the Elkin's a spot, I really do like the colorway. Just in a vacuum I'd prefer the olives. Really the only reason I have the Mocha's ahead of the Olives is because I'm choosing to add context for the mochas - originals, value, unique compared to others etc. If that all makes sense, shrug.)
What really puts the Travis' over the top for me is honestly the 3 pack of flat wax laces with one of them always being an accent color. I'm a sucker for the pink laces contrasted with the earth tones. Forgot to speak more on that, so putting it in the comments.
You can’t go wrong with white, cream or sail laces. Don’t forget that this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so rock the pink laces. Not sure which ones I am going to start with. Either white or pink. I may order a pair or cream or sail.
You lucked out! These type of boxes are just janky too, might have happened naturally in shipping. If someone legit peaked in, they have to know that's a Travis box so if they were going to take them they would have. Unless they were just curious without intention of stealing. Either way glad your pair survived!
My box was not altered nor were there any manufacturing defect quality was better than most. One thing I will say it was stiff when putting on the laces. I’m going with black lace 💯 white looks more flashy professional wear. Pink looks ridiculously ugly. Attention grabbing and very feminine for a mens IMO. Black laces look more casual wear. I hit on 2 pairs but ordered the wrong size on one sz 13m but it doesn’t seem like I will have a hard time trading or selling them which is great to know.
