A great piece to honor Israel, its land and above all, its people, both Jew and Arab.

"...You are victorious only if you are spared amid the great elimination..."
    full poem:
"Your Heart Matters in the Chaotic World
Why is the world so chaotic
It’s the unkind heart begetting disasters
Without faith in the divine, one meets with disintegration and loss of life at the end times
Modern notions and conduct are demons’ companions
Gods did not create humans to have them live in such decrepitude
Instead to give them the chance of returning to heaven
The Creator turns the Falun [Law Wheel] with boundless mercy
Fame, gain, and qing [sentiments] are not what you came to Earth for
Stay away from the mad evil Party and avoid calamities at the end times
You are victorious only if you are spared amid the great elimination
    2020"
Master Li Hongzhi (Hong Yin VI, from Falun Dafa teachings)

If this composer would've been Born in USA instead of early times Israel he could be a great film composer, it's epic at the same level as guys like John Williams

He was born in Germany and moved to pre-independent Israel when he was 36. He even changed his name to look more Jewish. I think he very much wanted to be connected with Israel over anywhere else

For sure, but what I meant is that in some ways his talent was almost a waste in compare to his calibre as a composer. The truth is that we can understand his greatness only today, when there's better orchestras that can give such a glory to this music.
At the same time maybe Israel is what gave him really authentic inspiration.
But if the same talent would live in L.A he could be easily a great film composer. It's epic and huge!

@@Eden_Rubin_Music You’re probably right. Unfortunately a lot of composers back then thought the opposite, that writing for film was the waste of time instead. Sadly, that’s the only way a composer can really make it today. I wonder if there were any filmmakers in Israel during his time. I’m sure they would have asked for him to write their scores
