I will be going back to Rehoboth Beach on July 13th-18th, for my 23rd year! This place will never grow old by my standards. Looking forward to grottos, Nicola's, jogging up and down the boardwalk, swimming in the ocean, and just adoring all the scenery that this paradise has to offer.
Have a fantastic vacation. Get some of the street corn. Lol 😆😆
@@AlongForTheJourney Are they selling street corn? Where do you get it?
Watch at 4 minute mark in the video.
@@AlongForTheJourney And what you said about grottos, the taste is legendary, but I will admit. It could be a bit bigger. Those other pizzas you went to looked pretty good too.
Grottos has to step up their game... eventually the name will not get them far these other pizza places will run them out of town. You use to have to wait in line for grotto pizza not anymore in the summer.
No longer an East Coast resident, but I grew up on Grotto's pizza and vacationing at Rehoboth with my family. Thanks for the fun tour!🍕🍕🍕
Alllllll thanks so much for the donation. ❤️❤️❤️ It helps keep the channel going. I hope you can get back there one day. Have a fanatic day. 👍👍😎😎🍕🍕
At 12:44 I remember that tree you have to go check out the edge
I will do that. Thank you. 👍👍
The chocolate wave was awesome the chocolate almond toffee was delicious thanks. Also the lobster roll was amazing at Mason's.
Oh you are making me so jealous and hungry right now. 🦞🦞🍫🍫😎😎
Looks like you had the best time! You definitely found some gems! The new restaurant in the old Cooter Browns is 302 Social-- they just hadn't taken down the Cooter Browns sign yet. Definitely come back and @VisitRehoboth again!
Thank you will be back soon. 👍👍
Grew up near Rehoboth. Nicola Pizza was the place you should have tried. This was a class favorite in the early 80's, after school plays/events, Joan was always a second mom to each of us. Graduated with the current owner. Obie's by the Sea, another great place. I worked for the owner's wife and my ex was the bookkeeper.
I will put that on my list. Thanks for the great info. 👍👍😎😎❤️❤️
You went past Robin Hood Restaurant. The BEST place for food when you have a hangover.
Lol... I will put that on my list. 👍👍
I grew up in Georgetown. Rehoboth Beach was one of our stomping grounds often. Locals generally go when the tourists hadn’t got there yet. Grotto did have the best pizza & Thrasher’s by far the best fries once you add the vinegar. One more thing for breakfast you need to find a restaurant that serves scrapple & eggs. Nice video. I do miss the beach since I’m now in the Midwest.
Thanks for stopping by the channel. Thrasher is crazy good. You need to come back one day. 😎😎
The Purple Parrot is where I basically planted my face outside on the ground. Have never been so toasted after a day on the beach, a shower and a little sunburn.
Lol.. now thats not funny. 😆😆😆
Awesome place to check out. Sorry about that bad 🍕 slice. Thanks for sharing this tour👍🏾
Thank you👍👍
Thanks for the video! Checking out this area and already put a few spots on our list. 😁🤙
You will love it there. 👍👍
Once again we followed your path 😂 we are here at Rehoboth finally ❤
Awesome.. don't forget that street corn.. I'm ready to drive there right now for a piece. Have a fantastic trip and want to know what is your favorite.. skip grotto though. Lol. 😎😎❤️❤️🍨🍨
Did you try Louie's Pizza? They're the best in downtown Rehoboth. On Rt. 1, Crust and Craft is the best.
Tried louies just ok. I'll check out crust and craft next visit. 👍👍
My son in laws parents live in Rehoboth Beach and they walk the boardwalk every early morning.
In season, parking is a nightmare downtown.
I do like Rehoboth out of season.
The ice cream where you got the cup of chocolate goodness, I tried corn, another time beer ice cream and many different flavors you can’t get anywhere else.
Do you shop at the outlets?
Oh yes love the outlets. Now i want ice cream. Lol. 🍦🍨🍦🍨🍦🍨
1. Cooter Brown's closed a year ago. It's now 302 Social.
2. No one is allowed to ride bikes on the sidewalks in the downtown area, on Rehoboth Avenue from the boardwalk to Sixth Street and on First Street from Virginia Avenue to Brooklyn.
During the summer season, bike riding is permitted on the boardwalk only from 5-10 am.
3. The BOARDWALK is exactly that. It's the board lined walkway parallel to the beach. The rest of it is just the downtown area. So most of this video you were not on the boardwalk , just downtown.
Correct. Thanks for sharing.
Louie’s pizza is my favorite! Very tasty!
Great upload as per usual guys! What is your other channel that you mentioned? ✌️✌️✌️
Thanks for supporting us. Here is our other channel some fun stuff on there. Have a great weekend. 👍👍youtube.com/@howtodoneright?si=sQDpdMQd2kpccA7a
Great video. We usually just stick to the "main" road but now we need to explore the side streets too. Kilwins fudge is the best. Nicola's pizza is better than Grotto and sorry but Thrashers fries are superior to boardwalk fries.
Someone else said about Nicolas I will check that out next time.
Nj boardwalks definitely has the best pizza, nj has some the best in general and I live in PA near Philly
I agree with that.
1. Grotto’s Pizza originated in Pennsylvania. Harvey’s Lake.
2. New Jersey pizza is the best!!
Well I will have to put Harvey's on my list. 👍👍
My brother and I went to Gus and Gus's 40 years ago . The waitress was hitting on my brother, and I was hitting on her, but he didn't tell me that I had banana cream pie on my mustache😂
Omg great story. 👍👍
Whats the death by peanut butter ice cream shop called?
It's called the Ice Cream Store. Hope you get there. 😀😀🍦🍦
@@AlongForTheJourney thanks we'll be hitting it up even we go!
I want to hear about the flavor you get. Lol.😀
@@AlongForTheJourney probably gonna be boogers hahah
Lol
Only good place for pizza in OCMD is Lombardis! 🙌🙌🙌
I'll check that out next time . 👍👍
You showed Cooter Brown’s as having just opened; Google Maps shows it permanently closed. Which is it?
Interesting. Sounds like it was a liquor license issue.
Cooter Browns closed, it is now 302 Social :) new owners
Gus & Gus
Nicola Pizza is best
I'll put that one on my list. 👍
Nicola Pizza is best for pizza
Louie's Pizza
We’ve never stayed at any DE or MD beaches, always going first to Sea Isle, and then for the last 25 years, OCNJ, but we’ll be in Rehoboth for a week starting 9/7/24. And I like Grotto pizza… 🫡
Have a great time. Rehoboth has so much to do... but ocnj is still one of my favorites. You tell me if grottos is as good as it use to be in September... not in my opinion they have changed.
@@AlongForTheJourney Used to get them par-baked at the store on Concord Pk in Wilmington.
The city council has ruined Rehoboth, used to be a quaint place 30 years ago but they have allowed it to become overcrowded with unplanned growth, if you are lucky enough to find a parking space then it’s $4/hr. Beaches are packed blanket to blanket. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation the Rehoboth isn’t it.
Thanks for sharing. 👍👍 Thats why we like of season. April and October when we can.
