Can you add to the description cleanflight version used and PID controller used please ? Have you tried PIDC #5 Harakiri with autotune ? This PIDC seems the most popular and the one which flies best right now according to cleanflight thread on rcgroups. You usually fly with horizon flight mode or you tuned your pid's to fly mainly with acro mode ?
Joan Lilo I use version 1.7.1 and fly with the standard pid controller (0-old multiwii). Usually i fly in horizon mode and for a short period of time in acro, so i t is tweaked for horizon mode. The pid settings i used for the hoverthings flip 260 where standard and after tuning: Roll 4,2 0,030 23 Pitch 4,2 0,030 23 Yaw 8,4 0,030 23 The RC rate is 1,1 I didn't try the PID controller #5, maybe next weekend.

The leds you need are the type ws2811, i use a strip of 28 leds. I have a ubec for it which delivers 4A, the 28 leds need almost 18 watts on 5v. I ordered the leds in the netherlands on the site: www.antratek.nl/led-rgb-strip-addressable-sealed-1m
merk je verschil na de autotune?en werkt deze dan in alle modes? en bij de flips druk je hem gewoon door naar voren of naar achter om een flip te maken of moet je eerst een commando geven?het gaat erom dat hij zoiezo in rattitude mode staat toch?alvast bedankt
Rene Vernes De autotune werkt alleen in angle mode (Kan niet verder dan ingestelde hoek) & Horizon mode. In horizon mode kun je flips en rollen maken maar als je knuppels in de neutraal stand zet dan herstelt de quad zijn stabiele positie. Je hebt wel genoeg uitslag nodig, ik heb de rc rate op 1,1 staan, roll\Pitch op 0,65 en yaw op 0,9.
bedankt ik wacht op nieuwe props en dan ga ik voor de eerste keer proberen in mode 3 deze staat op 2x rattitude en cruise control.als ik daar geen goeie flips kan maken ga ik hem programeren in horizon mode.want de flips zien er goed uit .thnx
Rene Vernes Klopt cleanflight is andere firmware en kan gebruikt worden op een aantal flightcontrollers, deze moet je dan flashen met de cleanflight configurator, dit is een app die onderchrome draait. Voor de geschikte flightcontroller en info kun je kijken op: cleanflight.com/
Sir, I am building my first racing drone, and I have a question that may sound silly-- for me, three weeks of trying everything I know to solve the problem. I even waited for a second naz 32 board. Both are full version Naz 32 boards. At first they hooked up-- then problems arming. I tried to load another board firmware-- Only blue light, no flash, no connect. I went to drivers-- working properly. I tried rescue-- kept saying the board was not connected-- timed out. I am stuck with 2 new boards that have never flown. I can not afford another board-- they are $29 each. Is there any help? Any ideas? I would hate to buy an ARF version because I am Stupid!
Hi Bud, i think that your naze board is bricked because the blue led is on. You have to use your bootloader pins to unbrick it. I found a nice youtube video whick explains the proces. The link: th-cam.com/video/bhwI3ERu5tE/w-d-xo.html . I hope this solves your issue with the naze, happy flying.
+NJ Tech To get a good tune you need calm conditions. If you take of and postion the quad and then activate Autotune, it will start with tuning the roll. if it beeps switch of autotune. reposition the quad and switch on autotune again and it will start tuning the roll. follo the the rest of the video to save the settings. Please check if it still working the same in the latest Cleanflight version , i thought they call it now g-tune. I didn't use autotune since this video because i'm now flying Fpv on rate mode and tune the quads manually. Your p settings on pitch and roll are way to high.....that's why it wobbles when you punch it

begrijp ik goed dat de cleanflight een andere software is als open pilot GCS want deze gebruik ik nu namelijk .

where can in find autotune switch - what is the procedure in CF ?
Hi Michal, it should be in the mode tab of the cleanflight configurator, here you have to assign the auto tune to a switch.
What is the name of that tab?
It should be in the mode tab but i didn't use it for more than a year. You can also try the adjustment tab in the chrone app.

the punch out sounds horrible alot of oscillations, this made me want to tune it myself
