bro y'all didn't listen, yes music production takes a lot of time and yes experience takes time to build, but its just music theory stop over complicating the process
I mean u fr have a point simplicity is key, sometimes when u make a really crazy beat that does not feel right try taking out elements and then changing where they are and it will 9 times out of 10 hit harder.
and even though its easy does not mean its quick sometimes it will take a long time but the more experienced and skillful you are the quicker it CAN be.
I really can't knock my up and comers✊, but music production is far from easy, and can be a lot more complicated than meets the eye my brother, especially when doing it to a professional level. There are a lots of concepts you still have to learn, Custom synthesis, Drum recording, song arrangment, frequency spectrum management, Sound design, Music theory and Composition, Genre versatility and much more, most music producer also have the ability to professionally score movies or even games and other such media. What you have done is just the simple process of beatmaking using other producers sample kits, which I must admit, most of us start from there, but let's keep it humble as there is still a lot to learn. Come on people dedicate their lives to this stuff, Check out ludwig göransson, Terrace Martin😁
I will say there are levels to this. It's hard to start out if you don't know where to look (since you're starting out, you don't know what to look for) As you go on, there will be challenges that we all face as well as unique ones everyone will face. After that, you're more familiar with things like tools, short-cuts and personal setups - it will naturally become easy. However; most producers hit a wall and they can't seem to level up their production and getting to that level is difficult. The Basics are not hard, but mastering your craft is the real challenge.
mastering production comes from making and exposing yourself to multiple genres, just like mastering rap comes from writing in multiple styles and fashions to change and adapt to push your skills. its also staying a student and never saying you're the master.
I think a better way of looking at it is music production is as simple as you make it. Theres no doubt that its simple to throw something together but when you go into detail it gets complicated.
and I think a lot of the time the simplest beats are the best. but I still think that putting together a lush magical experience is all about music theory and layers, and its not much harder
What I would say to this is, it is true that we often over complicate things and self sabotage. However in order to become someone who stands out and is truly skilled, it takes a lot of time and effort. Does that mean it's hard? Maybe, but really it's about knowing what you're doing and having a simplistic approach while still not being boring. It's more about dedication to the craft rather than how "hard" or "easy" it is.
Yeah its super easy when you have no musicianship and you're making any stock type on-grid beats that don't stand out in the slightest. Like another comment said; this has to be rage bait 😂
you need mastering and mixing and you say its easy but its a yes and no because doing a drumkit and simple melody isnt hard at all but if you want to have better unique and quality beats its going to take a little more time.
most producers in the music industry know a little bit about mixing and mastering but they are responsible for the music and not the technical part of the presentation
Nah these people be hating for no reason, he is not showing you his best beat, he is just saying that making beats ain't that hard if you simplify it to your own standards. I wouldn't be surprised if most the people hating here just lowkey make trash music thinking they're some virtous composers ahead of their time or sumn.
it depends on the situation and if I want the kick to sound a certain way. I don't sidechain my snare or rim tho, because they usually stick out if its mixed well
I mainly do sample based instrumentals with real music, and I get all of those from samplette.com, and I make a lot of my beats at 3am with my airpods and laptop. the only plugin I have paid for is serato sample and you can find drum sounds for free.

Do you see yourself talkin bout music theory in the video? I didn't, but maybe I missed it, idk
“Making an easy and basic beat is easy and basic”

I needed this. I be overthinking too much
this has to be rage bait
I really hope you were tearing out your hair
I mean u fr have a point simplicity is key, sometimes when u make a really crazy beat that does not feel right try taking out elements and then changing where they are and it will 9 times out of 10 hit harder.
but it does depends on the genre, if u are just learning, figure out what the basic principles and elements are tied with that genre
and even though its easy does not mean its quick sometimes it will take a long time but the more experienced and skillful you are the quicker it CAN be.
bars brother

I say its easy because its putting in the time to understand the craft and perfecting it, its a journey not a destination like you said
I’m not watching the video but I am liking to help support

nah music production is just music theory and time, it is simple

Now make a melody

Beat making is easy not music production
music production is just music theory and layers its easy it just takes time
BRO WTF U LOOK EXACTLY LIKE ME IM BEING DEAD SERIOUS
this is either the best ragebait ever conceived or the most deluded opinion ever conceived and im not sure which one i think it is
Aw hell naw. Buddy cooked up a stock beat 😭💀
low-key yes but I think its better than a stock beat
Nah these people be hating for no reason, he is not showing you his best beat, he is just saying that making beats ain't that hard if you simplify it to your own standards. Nah dude thinks he’s some production genius yet his songs r garbo
my brother, respect. you get it. the point of this is to show how you can do something people overhype in a way that scares off potential geniuses
people don't like thriller by Michael Jackson, but yeah I am a genius 🤓
Do beat producers sidechain so the kicks and snare hit harder? I make EDM, and that’s a staple in that genre lol
i do when im making hiphop or trap
some do
it depends on the situation and if I want the kick to sound a certain way. I don't sidechain my snare or rim tho, because they usually stick out if its mixed well
beatmaking*
ive heard it both ways
you still have to mix and master, which is also production, so its not that easy.
im just the rapper and producer, the engineer takes care of that
good vid
Bro it's not easy when you don't have the equipments plug plugins
There are Free Alternatives.
