m j currington, exactly. She compliments his voice, and she's okay letting him shine. I've seen him kiss fans in the audience during a performance, but it's like she's okay with that. Let him have is fun, do his performance. But at the end of the day, we know whose going home with him, and can lay her head on his pillow. They are both so fortunate to have each other.

Off stage, they're husband and wife. THAT'S what Bruce said in this vid. On stage, Bruce is not the same man as he is at home and so isn't Patti the same woman on stage as she is at home. Performing is also acting. As husband and wife, they can argue about whatever just before going on stage and when they are onstage, they are Bruce the singer and performer and Patti the E street band member without having an argument just before, playing and singing for the fans.

I remember when he married the model. Fans nearly died. He had betrayed his NJ roots and his Jersey girl and gone Hollywood. He had been hit by lightning or whatever Italians call it but he came to his senses and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. He was Broooce again.

I have always been impressed by their healthy-seeming yet utterly romantic, clearly passionate bond/union, & their earthiness, & being grounded. And despite my sort of crush on him, i have always rooted for Patti's success (both in the band, & with Bruce) lol (i've since sort of outgrown it, but still love the music )

Patti, no more plastic surgery pls. We are all getting older, we are all getting a wrinkle here and there and some grey hair.
Dying hair, make up, that's okay ofcourse, we did that since we were young, but that's enough to still look great. Shining and glowing comes from the inside, not from plastic surgery.

There's no such thing as a perfect couple but if there were, they would be that.
When I saw them in the 80s I just imagined that Patty was in love with him because how could she not be especially being so intimate singing those songs. I was right! I'm so happy for them all and for us the fans. I saw Bruce the last time he played in my town in 2015 and many many times before that. ❤
