You know - I probably would not have gotten this software if Bard AI didn't recommend your videos to me to help explain things. LEGEND! These videos are amazing! Thank you!
I use the free version of SynthV about a year and made a couple of songs with it which worked for me. Since a month I have the Pro version and found your tutorial which is really helpful with much insight. Thank you very much!
I got the crack, I stil dont know what it is, had no time to watch the whole video..maybe if I actually paid for it I will but if its a free version isn't it limited? even worse no?
Got SynthV Pro version today and your channel is a godsend. I've gotten super interested in covering songs that I previously couldn't listen too because I don't like Vocaloid at all. SynthV is way more realistic and your tutorials really help me with that goal.
This company should hire you, most of us would not have gotten this far..I am grateful personally. I wish I had more control over pitch though, trying to edit the graphs are really a pain..Also more flexibility when it comes down to short cuts. I hope that this software improves although it's already incredible. Thanks again
Damn, this series is amazing, I have to keep dropping comments. This thing, Synth V, is so interesting. It's amazing to craft the vocals at this level, it's almost voyeuristic in a weird way. You type, you get singing, you make mods, you get whatever. Amazingly expressive "instrument". Note in version 1.11 you have to deselect "Evenly split note into syllables" to get the split to move around.
TOP - very useful. This program without manual is not so easy to understand, but after a while and a lot of try and errors (without your vids), it works.
I was struggling too, then I found an unofficial manual in the forum, big discover! However mixPhantom is the best, he's always ahead vs Dreamtonic official videos, who in the last one said they would speak of the generate take function. I like the subtle humour I find in this man, and also the relative modern shortness of these tips! Finally I've learned a couple things..
Thank you much! I also experienced some troubles in generating anchors for other parameters. For instance, I had a parameter selected, chose generate anchors and I could not see anything, then switched to pitch and saw anchors there. Great tip for the constrained vert/horiz move, very useful tip. I use takes even if I'm happy with AI, but I deal with refrain lyrics: I may duplicate them and move to a second refrain and then generate takes to create a slight variation of rendering the notes with different pitch and emotions
Thank you very much for this video. Tip #2 about using AI retakes to fix vibrato in Instant Voice vocals helped a lot in taming Asterian's vibrato, which could get crazy at times.
An update on my progress of trying out Synthesizer. I tried multiple vowel words this time. They sound much better than Ah. I tried to have it sing vocalize songs.
I use it as a VST in Bitwig but timing and the placement of the application window is frustrating, but you can directly route to an audio track for instance. Pros for me: I can add vocals to my tracks, its great when tweaking a lot Cons: the sound of the synth during input 😐, not able to use bar 1 😢 and the controls disappear constantly 😆??
Your videos are a huge help. Don't know if you've done one but I need help with extending certain words and shortening others. I have a song which sings a certain rhythm but I cannot for the life of me edit to get the rhythm right. I import the midi file but the words just don't fall in the right places and/or for the right duration. On an unrelated not, does anyone reading this know how to get SV Pro to work in Cubase? Whenever I try to load it as a plugin is says certain ports are disconnected. This does not happen with any of the many plugins I have.
I don't see the instant mode on my synth V... I'm using it as a plugin instead of standalone... not sure if that hsa to do with anything; but i can't edit the vibrato like you're doing here at all...
Synth V has been updated a few times since this video, and Dreamtonics has removed the "instant" mode and now has Sing/Rap/Manual. If you select a clip and click on Manual, you will be able to edit that pitch with the tools.
@@mixphantom0101 LMAO... WHEW..... I thought that either my ADHD had gotten the better of me, OR I was developing dementia. Follow up question: Any chance that their team is EVER going to add a "musical scales/modes" feature, so that we can choose which key the song we are in, and: 1) the piano roll to display which keys are in that scale? 2) the software will allow us to quantize pitches to the scale we have selected? This seems to be the only major feature-set holding back the software... and likely MASSIVE adoption by consumers (In my novice opinion).
Vibrato tools only work in the new "manual mode". The A.I. vibrato can also be controlled but only if a voice supports this feature... currently Solaria does not.
@@mixphantom0101 I figured out the issue. There's a setting that copies the voice mode into manual mode. That has to be unchecked or manual mode has almost no impact. Question- I've created a harmony track with 3 vocals. Individually they sound good, but together they sound artificial. Would changing the phase of the vocals or random differences make the mix less synthesizery?
Phase offset should help... the key is to make each voice unique "just enough" - generating new takes with the A.I. vibrato is a good start. Slight timing and pitch tweaks too!
@@jamesj9998” there’s a setting that copies the voice mode into manual mode” hi, i am trying to figure out where this setting is and what exactly you mean by that sentence. Any help would be apreciated. Edit: never mind it seems i found it
No the "Instant" mode overrides the manual "vibrato". You would need to export two versions... A.I. and manual vibrato and then edit between in your DAW.
Hi, folks. Not trying to offend anyone, but trying to understand if I didn’t get it right. After watching videos like this and listened to Dreamtonic’s demo song - Amazing Grace, sung by Eleanor , I said to myself, this was too good to be true. Thought, just like the sample libraries, they have people talk about how good their products are, but after purchasing, they turn out to be garbage. I thought this was another case. But Dreamtonics offers trial version. Then it had to be true. I tried it out with Eleanor, it turned out to be a joke. I don’t get it.

Wait...I don't have an instant mode button...
Edit: It's now the 'Sing' mode. ugh why
omg thank you for your comment... couldn't for the life of me figure out where instant mode was
Muchas gracias por su tutorial. Un fuerte abrazo.
Super helpful, thanks a lot. Looking forward to more of these videos!
These videos are extremely helpful. Thank you!!
These were indeed VERY useful! Subscribed and thanks.
Very nice your classes. We hope that you always make tutorials of this type, and mainly about phonemes.Waiting Tips#2 and so on, thanks.
Excellent as always! Thank you so much!!!
Just bought the program and seen this video. Got you on my goto for Synth V
Thanks for these tips! :) Very helpful!

is there a way to put all the notes on the keyboard for us non musically talented people.
You mentioned "Pen and Tablet" what would be the best recommendation? Any examples of anyone using a "Pen and Tablet" with this program
I use the cheapest Wacom... but any pen & tablet works as a great mouse substitute!

How does your "instant mode" show up in the interface like that? I don't seem to see it on my screen.
Dreamtonics removed it. Many of my vids from last year have things that are no longer available or necessary. 🙃
