I always found it weird that in the Yu-Gi-Oh GX anime none of the characters made any comparisons on how the Sacred Beasts looked suspiciously similar to Egyptian God"s.

Without the spoilers for this video The series is tied 3-3 Game 1 Jen got that swift 2-0 Game 2 Susu retaliated with his own swift 2-0 Game 3 Jen was that tight one 2-1 Game 4: Susu Dark Saged that swift 2-0 again Game 5 Jen won another close one 2-1 Game 6 Susu did the impossible and reverse reversed 2-0 using Theinen the Great Sphinx #imsick
I think you should showcase the mathups with in era cards and then rematch with modern cards added to the mix so we can see how the meta shift and new mechanics affect the decks

I think the way you're doing the series is good. Maybe after you should try the battle of the Eras with their cards because each Era has a lot of banned cards
In my opinion, I really enjoy it when y'all keep the cards in the boss monsters era! Especially with the older boss monsters. Old Yu-Gi-Oh is so much better.
I disagree, i think it's way more fun to use combo styles to make incredible special monsters, with effects that actually warrant them being called boss monsters, and not just being able to mirror force them away or something. Eh. I grew up on Zexal, so maybe that's why.
I agree old school yugioh was better. It actually took you turns to beat your opponent & you weren’t able to fully flood the field. New school yugioh it’s literally one turn over & that’s boring as hell.

You have a 5 card monster zone, 5 card backrow, if not all spaces are used, I really don't see the point of having all of them. Plus, again, the idea of a "boss" monster, at least to me, is supposed to be one that takes a herculean effort to not only summon, but bring down in the end. The Egyptian God's are badass, but one mirror force and down they go. Better for the Extra Deck to bring out real game-ending synchro, xyz, or whatever-summon-method have you, bosses with incredible protection, through hell-or-high water length combos. Nothing beats going turbo on a 4-fusion HERO endboard or summoning Z-ARC and going insane. Xyz and synchro climb to Quasars and Utopic Future? Hell yeah. Putting down cards on the board at the pace of a snail, racing to put down high-level vanillas first. Hell nah. I know I'm obviously biased here, and I'm not saying that you're bad or dumb for liking old school yugioh. It does have it's merits I will admit. I just like to engage in discussion while putting my perspective out there.

I grew up from the start of yugioh & as the game evolved it just got faster & faster to the point where everything has an effect, & their effects can be played during my turn & locking down the field & if I can’t do anything on my own turn I don’t see the point in playing. Plus it takes five minutes for a player to make a move & when they do boom give boss monsters in one turn. Modern day yugioh made it way to easy to flood the field & honestly I don’t see the point in it anymore if the field is locked down & I can’t even make a move without things being negated, just a waste I duel for fun & modern yugioh just isn’t anymore. These character & boss duels they do on this channel are what I enjoy about dueling because it’s a good back & forth.

I am working on my way through your upload list haha but fun fact related to this duel...i once dueled my cousin who ran a legit Obelisk deck...had to find a way to destroy it and an easy way i found was since it cant be targeted, use traps/magic cards that have a blanket effect (mirror force, torrential tribute, lightning vortex, etc). INSANE duel tho haha
Maybe have 2 decks in the head to head, for game 1 and 2. One using cards from the era the boss monster was created, and the other using new cards to turbo the boss monster out. For game 3... flip a coin to decide which one lol?
I literally posted this in the last video, but Change of Heart was the real boss monster here alongside snatch steal. Loving the Gods vs Beasts, but would love a round 2 using current support, I just want to see the Slifer trap go off lol
I love this boss battle series. A few things you could do is choose a list of cards that didn't exist during the era of this boss battles that could give chance for a comeback for example: Infinite Impermanence or Forbidden Droplet and limit them. Create your own format or at least your own banlist, that way you could create a little bit more powerful decks and still keep it fresh by not going straight to meta decks. Anyway that's just my 2 cents, wish you both the best i love this channel and i'm a big fan of the one and only top deck queen - Jen.
I'm not sure if this would be considered a Character or Boss battle but I think it'd be pretty cool to see The Gore vs The Gore. Like, his Gouki style vs his Dinowrestler style. Great video as always! :)

Im really into the whole assembly of the deck as it is a puzzle. I think the forbidden list cards will come back in the form of themed cards for decks like drawing cards themes. Thank you headtoheadbattles.
Just like this video, you guys should keep doing boss battles with all cards available from every era. Like for example all of the "Utopia" monsters vs the "Stardust Dragon/Cosmic Blazar/Shooting Quasar Dragons" monsters (with both decks using modern cards).
@HeadtoHeadBattles As an old school Yu-Gi-Oh player, playing with the cards per era is much more entertaining. If anything, if y'all wanted to speed it up (not saying I feel its too slow, or that you feel for sure its too slow) why not pick maybe 5/6 more modern cards that will help boost the speed/consistency of the deck (looking at the Gate Guardian/Dark Sage games)? Just to test the waters. Otherwise, this is entertaining as is
What about a Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman vs cyber end dragon? That could be epic! Great duels once again, somehow you always manage to have hyped up duels
honestly i think it would be interesting see at the least some games where you do use cards from all eras. with some decks/bosses you end up seeing similar strategies and that would open more possibilities. having that said i enjoy the more limited duels aswell.

A character duel I’d like to see is Rio vs Shark in their Barian forms a battle of siblings would be interesting and a boss battle i’d like to see is Rafael’s guardian beast Eatos vs Joey’s red eyes black dragon (the context can joey avenge the pharaohs first loss against Rafael)

He would've brought out his other boss monster and knock out your field but you would set more cards out then summon obelisk then use his ability to clear one of susu boss monster then crash his other
Exodius (with his instant win condition) against Ojama's (with the 2 fusion monsters and the link monster) and Exodius is a boss monster for Exodia and it's parts and Ojama King is the boss monster of the Ojama's (combine with Ojama Country to flip it's ATK with it's DEF).

Perhaps they assumed that Pegasus ran out of ideas for his creature design.
Cards within the monsters era is probably better since with all the cards in the game will allow you to one turn summon the boss monsters
