It's a hard heart that isn't moved by watching Holocaust survivor Jack Aizenberg return to his homeland, Poland.
Heroic and funny Jack makes the journey during the brilliant second series of this documentary, which reveals slices of life from members of Manchester's Jewish community. On the way, he tells the incredible story of his life, how he lost his family and the journey from Germany to his present home in the UK.
Also on a trip is our favourite from series one, the formidable Bernette Clarke, who's in Israel visiting her daughter. And there's a surprise from young Rabbi Zevi Saunders who, while preparing for his wedding, reveals he met his wife-to-be on a dating site.

How can anyone not like the Manchester mother, she is so funny, in fact she should have her own show on ITV.

I'm not a Hareidi woman, so I don't know about the legs. Most don't actually shave the head hair off after the wedding.
Men aren't allowed to trim any hair (apart from head) because it is seen as a woman's grooming activity, which men are forbidden to copy.

It would have been good to show those sides of the community as well, but charity should be discreet, shouldn't it? I don't think they were shallow or ridiculous. They were characters, fair play, and perhaps there were other things to show but they only have so long and they have to keep a fickle viewer's attention.

Yes, most do shave their legs, although they will never be seen. It's a personal choice.
