@@Brittank88 Thank you very much. Yes people have been building planes for a while now :D If there's down force wings and you can flip them and make them "up force" wings, what do you think will happen? 😄 And it's amazing how well it works!
@@TheRealCatBurger23 Yeah ahaha I kinda assumed that would be how it works before I even clicked on the video! I had just never thought about how the controls would work in-air
@@TheRealCatBurger23 yeah, I tested some things and was able to create a plane i call, The Dragon. Thank you for showing us your revolutionary findings!
@@DuckOnaTruckk Sure. But the point of this build was to show that single propeller planes are possible! If I use two propellers, the whole counter rotating mechanism is pointless!
@@gray4330 Oh, you mean like the gearing? Depends. If you want a co-axial counter rotating dual-propeller you can download one I made from the workshop and look how it works steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3325243052 If you want two separate propellers with two separate motors, just reverse the inputs for one motor. (Click Configure on the motor, then reverse inputs for Forwards and Backwards). Also, if you haven't already, I recommend you join the discord!
I didn't even consider that flying vehicles in this game would be possible lol
This is awesome, and makes decent sense

awesome
just noticed this is something i also found by mistake a long time ago but i thought it to be a bad thing instead of experimenting!
@@funky_friz Oh. Wow. Why would you think it's a bad thing??? Well, it's somewhat "wasting" energy for the mechanism ig. Maybe that's why... 🤷🏼♂️🙏🏻
@@TheRealCatBurger23 i was just trying to do something else and this was not what i wanted
@@funky_friz Oh I get it now 👍🏻
Masterpiece!

Genius
watching this video is so cool! I wish i knew about this when i started building my biggest plane

i've seen one like this but larger, nice job on compacting it down!
@@coconuthun_2159 Do you have a link? 🤔 I can't find any other single propeller builds on the workshop
@@TheRealCatBurger23 i didn't mean the one propeller one, the counter rotating double prop
@@coconuthun_2159 ahhh ok that makes sense. Yeah I think the Bluey helicopter did it first.
I remember a very similar mechanism being used in besiege back in the days
@@floriang7435 Interesting. I actually never played Besiege. But it makes sense there's similar solutions for similar problems ig
that is a really cool plane, but wouldnt 2 propellers generate more force because, well theres 2 of them?

Can you make a tutorial on how to make an engine?
@@gray4330 Hey. Engines are ready-to-go parts in this game. You can't make your own engines currently.
@@TheRealCatBurger23 sorry I meant a plane engine, I’m trying to make a dual propeller plane but can’t figure out how to reverse the way it spins

The physics shouldn'twork ,but also unity physics
what is this game?
