I wouldn't say Odyssey is a masterpiece. Mostly for the collectible system being gaud awful. But it definitely deserves a musical. Hands down.
Normally with a man on the internet cover it’s more of a showcase of a character or a unique spin on the game, however This just fits into the game perfectly. Mario odyssey already has 2 other lyrical songs and this feels like a 3rd

I remember this being my first full 3D experience, this theme brings a joyful tear from my eye.
As someone whose first 3D experience was Super Mario 64, this comment honestly warms my heart so much. Playing Odyssey took me back to being five years old and watching my first 3D game in complete awe; like with 64, I was seeing Mario in an entirely new way. Hearing about how Odyssey was your first experience with 3D is like a warm full circle moment :)
I always considered this the main theme of the Switch itself. This is amazing.

I think Mario Odyssey should add this feature,where when you finish the main story of the game, You can go to Mayor Pauline in metro city, And ask her for a festival. Not in metro city though, You can chose ANY kingdom you want it in. And the main theme of the kingdom will be made a song with lyrics, like this one

Seriously, all the Mario MOTI and Juno songs motivate me. They make me want to make a game with great different landscapes and things to discover. Really these songs are super great.
Super Mario Oddysey was the first game I've ever bought, played on the Nintendo Switch, or on any actual console that has been officially listensed by Nintendo themselves. The only time I've actually played any Nintendo game before Mario Oddysey that hasn't been on any bootleg things was Super Mario Run on my dad's phone. And hearing this just brings so much nistolgia to my mind and it makes me very happy to hear this. Thank you and happy late Mario day

You brought back a lot of nostalgic memories for me with this. I remember being introduced to both Mario Odyssey and the Switch when I watched the first trailer for it years ago. This certainly did the game justice.
Kyle Wright is the ideal Mario voice, Juno Songs is the ideal Luigi voice, and Darby Cupit is the ideal (threatening) Bowser voice.

This theme gave me so many memories when I first played Super Mario Oddysey. I remember going through the festival in that game. And that moment at the end of the festival made me cry when I first read Pauline's text. Tears were forming as said, "No. Thank you, Pauline. For making this journey, one of the best."

This is awesome! Super Mario Odyssey is my most favourite game ever and this is one of my favourite songs from it (The other being "Jump Up, Super Star"). Yooo Mario Odyssey is already starting to feel nostalgic despite it being the newest 3D platformer in the series- the orchestral soundtrack was always amazing, and this this cover of the main theme summarizes the whole game perfectly. It feels like an anime opening!

With Mario being Mario, I was curious to see which character would take to the stage. Getting a nondescript narrator was underwhelming at first, but worked quite well. Still, I was a little disappointed, as any take on Cappy would be awes-
