Don’t know if this is really why, but I believe there are gaps in the fan blades so you can to get a wrench on the crankshaft bolt for rotating the engine (locating TDC, etc.). You can pretty much only fit a full-size wrench in the large gaps between the fan blades.
Thx for the video man. Just the other day, my belt started squeaking on start up and just yesterday, I began hearing a knocking sound. Today, when I was driving home after taking the SAT, the knocking sound got louder. I popped the hood and found the fan wobbleing and fluid dripping on the floor... Yay Looks like an easy fix thx to u guys. Keep it up
Oh no! It was a very simple fix for sure. Just make sure you silicone the thermostat in place because mine moved when I went to put the water pump on and therefore leaked. So I had to take it all back off again. lol Other than that it's still working great now! Good luck on fixing it! lmk if you have any questions! thanks!

Great help, thanks!!!
Glad it helped!
8 bolts to remove the grill and radiator y you working so hard?
Seems like a good time to replace all your hoses when you're replacing the water pump
For sure! Mine were still in great shape though.
Power steering pump tension is done by the bolts that hold it on. Make sure all the bolts are loose and use a bar to pivot it down 😊
Sweet, thanks for the advice!
@@ChelszH I know it's a couple years late but at least it'll make it easier when you need to replace the belt 😊
