Put turbo on the position and it won’t be stuffed in the bottom it may not work for you unless you have a 3 Gen I just flip the steed spend manifold and turbo is in the high position if you are thinking about going with two turbos you may have to leave it down low for room for second turbo .

This is all cool stuff, and I understand the performance gains. But what I don't understand is why guys want to take away one of the best things about these rams, the exhaust brake. Which is hands down the best out of the 3.
There are good options for more air and a better more reliable turbo then ditching the VGT and losing your exhaust brake.
I've also seen several trucks with over 200000 miles with the stock VGT turbo.
Improvement are always good, but not at the expense of losing a particular worth while function.

@chrisnoble8887 not if you tow lots with it. Dumb thing is engine braking should have been done 20 years ago on these trucks, just like big rigs. The real stupid thing is some semi's don't have them. Guess it comes down to what you use your truck for, truck stuff or city boy stuff.

@chrisnoble8887 true, although guys that use the exhaust brake (VGT) all the time and use the truck how it was ment to be used, not a grocery getter, rarely have issues with them, being deleted helps a good bit as well.

I’ve got a 5th gen. I love the exhaust brake feature of the VGT and don’t want to give it up for when I’m towing heavy. Do you think the VGT could be repositioned to the 2nd gen location like in this video? I like the accessibility and more efficient flow setup.
Also, does a 2nd gen swap like this get rid of the hot 5 & 6 cylinders from having the turbo stuffed down in the back of the engine bay?
