Then Came You is a sweet, uplifting tale that reminds us it’s not how long we live, but how we live the life we have, that matters. The film tells the story of Skye (Maisie Williams), a spunky teenager with a terminal illness who befriends Calvin (Asa Butterfield), a 19-year old hypochondriac who is afraid of his own shadow. Calvin helps Skye carry out her eccentric bucket list of things to do before she dies. In the process, he learns to confront and conquer his own fears, including falling in love with the beautiful, but seemingly untouchable, Izzy (Nina Dobrev).

I don't know how to describe this movie for those who didn't watch it, it's one of the deepest touching movies I've ever seen .
I just realized how popular Asa is by reading the comments 🤔 people are willing to watch the film even though they didn't like the trailer just because Asa is in it 😂

I've just watched this and it's amazing! For all those complaining, it's nothing like the typical teenage-cancer-romance movies, they don't even fall in love, their friendship is unique and the plot is fantastic. Do not judge the film based on this trailer and compare it to other romance films because this film is very special and different. Amazing movie!
Ugh I love asa but someone has to fire his manager / agent and put him in better movies. He is being cast in the same role of an ankward teenager.

Spoiler. Don’t read if you have not watch the movie. No they don’t. Everything he been in has been good. I just watch this movie and he was not playing a ankward teenager in this. He was nearly a adult in this. He was just going crazy in this because he things he was sick but he wasn’t. That why he was acting like this. This was a good movie really.
Because it works for him where he is. In a few years when he looks older he can change the usual role, he can't really play a dad and he could play a college kid and that's about it. He clearly doesn't have a jock look or anything either
I don't think this movie is going to do very well in theaters but at least we get to see Asa Butterfield without his shirt.

This was filmed close to me and my dad helped in the making of this movie. Well kinda he brought a few fireman jackets and I got a signed one
This is like the 4th or 5th romance film about terminally ill teenagers. Hollywood sure knows how to overuse a concept.

If you're going to watch this, be prepared for some tears! The acting is great and the story beautiful and sad. It's not easy to watch, because of the theme.

I've watched this movie. And you know what? THIS IS TOTALLY AMAZING THIS MOVIE IS INSANELY WONDERFUL OMG DON'T YOU DARE TO WATCH THIS WITHOUT A PACK OF TISSUE I WARNED YOU.
The most overused plot in Hollywood love stories. I wouldn't watch this, but I must say it's really refreshing to see Asa Butterfield in quite daring roles like this.
Skye and Calvin don't fall in love tho. They remain friends. That's what I liked about the movie

one thing that i personally loved is they didn't show the moment she just dies because i swear to god i was already crying and that shit would have made me cry a river and my mom would've known that i wasn't studying but instead watching a movie.

So of course I'm gonna watch.
This is a pretty good movie. I didn’t think I would like it because it seems so depressing due to the subject matter, but it has such a deeper meaning that it kept me wanting to well, keep watching.
It’s one thing to live your life to the fullest, but to have a terminal illness and live, while having to cope with it can be extremely harsh. It’s nice to see how this movie goes about this with an amazing story and a pretty amazing cast too.
