  • The Complete Visions of Anne Catherine Emmerich" refers to a compilation of the mystical visions and revelations experienced by Anne Catherine Emmerich, a German Augustinian nun and mystic who lived in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Emmerich is known for her extensive visions, which encompassed scenes from the life of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, biblical figures, and various saints. Her visions were recorded by Clemens Brentano, a Romantic poet and writer, who became acquainted with her in her later years. Brentano transcribed Emmerich's visions in great detail, compiling them into various works, including "The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ" and "The Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary". These writings provide insights into Emmerich's mystical experiences and have been of interest to theologians, historians, and spiritual seekers. However, it's important to note that while Emmerich's visions have gained some recognition within the Catholic Church, they are not considered official church doctrine, and individuals may interpret them in various ways.

If only you could remove the lipstick photo of our Blessed Mother and replace it with a more holy and dignified image, please. There are many blessed images of Mother Mary you can choose from (be careful with the AI images).

I’ve always thought of that image as a lovely representation of Anna Catherine Emmerich. This picture is truly pretty. The face is gentle, the eyes draw you in and she isn’t heavily made up. Just pretty. :)

Hello, I have a question. What is the name of the guy at the end of the story that rode a striped animal and took people to different parts of the world? Thanks for your time.

This false idea that allowing sinners to live gives rise to wicked civilizations is baseless.
The offspring or people of every Prophet became wicked nations.
Heck the people of Moses barely waited a month before they jumped into full blown idol worship when Moses stepped out for a few weeks.

Hiporacy will not enter the kingdom. Jesus warned of your kind. Repent while you still can. When Jesus returns it will be to late.

I'm a fan of Blessed Emmerich, and while this is fun to listen to, we have to keep in mind that a lot of her catalogued visions are forgeries by her buddy Clemens Brentano.
Like, really, saying that black and brown people descended from Cain and Ham and are punished with darker and darker skin for doing occult things?
That's just repeated oral tradition to justify slavery. The Mormons share the same beliefs about black people. And we know that the Catholic Church rejects such teachings.
Blessed Anna Emmerich's vision of Hell is more consistent with our doctrines. But Noah's story? Yeahh our current scientific discoveries about human evolution are more believable.
Test the spirits, like what St. Ignatius of Loyola said. Let us all be very careful before readily believing every apparition, vision, or ecstasy we hear.
