Excerpts of her journal that include the preparation and celebration during the Jewish Passover Feast and the fulfillment of Paschal Supper by Jesus and his disciples, the Institution of the Eucharist, and the ordination of the apostles. Her visions tie the Old Testament with the Last Supper and she describes the chalice which has been called the Holy Grail. Blessed Anne was a mystic, a visionary and stigmatic who was beatified in 2004. She died in 1824.
What a gift and treasure the Lord has given us through the visions of St. Anne Catherine Emmerich,, in which I truly believe n recieve a HOLY feeling while hearing these words on a Sunday morning.. THANK YOU my JESUS.. PLEASE help me with my so many faults...

I just finished listening to this on Holy Thursday…Im currently reading “The life of the Blessed Virgin Mary” from the visions of Ven Anne Catherine Emmerich.. Thank you so much for this lovely reading…it’s wonderful
Thanks Patti for sharing with us all the Sacred visions that The Lord has released to us through His chosen daughter and servant St Anne Catherine Emmerich. Each time I play it I fall asleep during the narrative, as I often do during prayers because of The Holy presence of either The Lord or Our Loving Mother, or both. God bless and I look forward to the next excerpt.❤❤❤❤
This is going to give me something to really reflect on as I pray this Holy Week. Beautiful reading and was presented in such a calm and loving way. Thank you.
Thank you Patti. This account was so moving. How rich is the Catholic Church so full of spiritual treasures. Everything she said is so familiar describing the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
During a trip to the Holy Land in 1999 we visited the church built on the location of the Upper Room. Since this is also where the first Pentecost outpouring of the Holy Spirit took place, our group took the opportunity to pray and sing praise to God in tongues! It is a very holy site. In the places down below and beneath it, there was a site of commemoration of David's burial tomb! It was a holy place for the Jewish people.
The Church is known as the Cenacle. Blessed Anne called it the Coenaculum. "Cenacle (from Latin cēnāculum #Latin "dining room", later spelt coenaculum), also known as the "Upper Room" was the first Christian church according to Catholics.[1Fortescue, A. (1910). "Jerusalem (A.D. 71-1099)"] It is a room in the David's Tomb Compound in Jerusalem, and was traditionally held to be the site of the Last Supper." [ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cenacle#cite_note-1]
Love the story and your voice. Thank you for reading for us. I have problems reading, and listening is much bettet for me. I love it. God bless you. 🙌 😊
Is there a version of her visions that do not include the minute details that mean nothing nd all the things she can't remember? I'm having trouble concentrating on the important meanings of these visions with so many minute details.
We understand your frustration. Truth of the Spirit trimmed so much of her details that described the room or house unless it was important to the action taking place.
When the Apostles chose by lot the replacement Apostle Matthias for Judas Iscariot, the other disciple not chosen was Joses Barsabas his cousin the son of Mary Cleopas from her second marriage. I believe he is the young man who ran away naked from the soldiers at the Garden of Gethsemane , and quite possibly the one who Christ said would remain until his return.
@@TruthoftheSpirit When John and Mary are at Ephesus they are visited by a young family member who was also a disciple. I believe it to be Joses. Joses is Joseph , but in an affectionate way, like joey. He was the youngest male in the family and I believed everyone would have doted on him, spoiling him and looking out for him. I can imagine Jesus taking him under his wing, loving him like a son, as he also loved John and teaching him with the rest of the Apostles. When he lost out of being an Apostle by lots being drawn, I believe it was because of his young age and lack of years of maturity.
Beautiful! I love the way you read these. Your love for God & your zeal for His Kingdom is so apparent but so gentle. "In gentleness lies true strength" 🕇📿💖
We have chosen to do only excerpts of the four books of Blessed Anne Catherine. We have a new one coming soon on Judas Iscariot that will be in two parts.
@@TruthoftheSpirit thx so much, if you have a new plan of reading the whole versions of he four books of Blessed Anne Catherine, I am too glad, please let me know, thx, since I cannot read myself very well. Thx for your readings.

Blessed Anne explains that the meal of the Jewish Feast of Unleavened Bread took place first before Jesus instituted the Eucharist.

Some scholars have suggested that John the Apostle was the young man.
