In this fishing episode on the south florida fishing channel we are trolling for yellowtail. We catch yellowtail jack and yellowtail snapper while trolling. Originally we planned to do a different style of fishing, but you know how fishing goes! You never know at the start of the day what sort of catch and cook the day will be ending on.
Well... in this case it ends with a yellowtail jack catch and cook and a yellowtail snapper catch and cook. And not only do we catch yellowtail in this episode but we are also get called by homeland security.
Trolled homeland security, what what? No we are not trolling homeland security. Homeland Security reached out to us about the crypto hack that we faced a few months ago. I never would have thought that they would contact us about the hack. Especially after a day of trolling offshore here on the South Florida Fishing Channel!
Anyways, after we are called by homeland security it's time to finish the catch and cook. So we cook yellowtail. Both of them! The yellowtail snapper and the yellowtail jack. Both tasted so good, they are the best!
So whether you are trolling homeland security or trolling for yellowtail just know... if it's on the South Florida Fishing Channel you're going to have a good time.

Those hound fish are good for Philippino kinilaw. You filet and cut into small pieces and add chopped onion tomato cilantro and cane vinegar or lemon juice and eat with saltines or tortilla chips
Facts are, someone needs to teach you how to throw a net... Whether it's been a year since you've thrown one or 20 years makes no difference.. Its not something you forget.
Love the videos, and the “non professional” vibe of them including the fishing is a real draw. I live in Miami since 1977 and fish here and the Keys a fair amount too - UM Hurricanes theme white w orange & green striping/upholstery 29’ SeaVee boat called Raising Cane. Great idea to scale the fish in a bucket - had never heard of it and will try it. Suggestion as to a scaling device: not sure the brand but I’ve seen them at both Captain Harry’s Fishing Supply and Crook & Crook here in Miami - it’s an acrylic plastic paddle-like thing with a handle with a bunch of stainless steel screws that stick out about 1/3” on one side of the paddle section. You scrape the fish same as normal and those screws make super short work of the scales. Keep up the entertaining vids and don’t go too “professional” on the production quality - the way you are doing them IS the appeal and a real differentiator.
