I found it very hard to believe that only one person, from the public who were in attendance, made a comment, after the motion to use the grant money to replace the pumps, and the plumbing for those pumps was not passed. I might understand Russ and Don not voting yes, but Gail not voting yes really puzzles me. I thought Gail was all for improving things in Otter Creek. Why didn't they public say more about this motion not being passed?? If I were a resident of the town, I would have gone ballistic!!

If the town water is tested to be so hazardous, could it be considered a state of emergency. If it is a state of emergency, then the mayor would not need approval of the board to use the appropriated legal funds to fix the water system. I believe from what I have seen that the individuals are not understanding that if the water remains unhealthy that further civil suits, not just breach of contract, for health related issues could be pending.

Really disappointed that the water motion wasn't passed leaving the town open to another lawsuit - regardless of the current state of the water, a contract was entered into by "the town" or Russ the Sus on Otter Creek's behalf and he won't second the motion to prevent the town being sued! He needs to be careful what he wishes for because that buck has to stop with him.

I believe it would be cheaper to replace than fix. I used to work at a fast food place and the owner tore down the building and put a brand new building up because he said it was cheaper to do that than to actually just renovate.

According to the safe water drinking act by the EPA otter Creek is required to give its residents clean water. I would contact the EPA .
