The Acolytic Preeminence requires another mod to spawn I believe. The mod is called Ancient Sceptre, which changes the M4 of the character to something slightly different, which Shaman semi-recently got support for this, turning the compound creation into that thing. I unfortunately don't know what it does but that's how you get it in game!
Oh I've heard of that mod that would be cool!
Essentially, if you activate his M4, and have at least 6 acolytes, then you create this floating eyeball thing that has a ranged barrage and does a ton of damage.
When you asked what happened during stage one of Voidling, you accidentally came across a behemoth tech/glitch. When you have Void Crit and behemoth, if your shot would've proced void crit, then the behemoth explosion procs void crit, which bosses are not immune to behemoth void crit procs but are immune to normal void crit procs.
Is THAT what happened?? That's wild I've never actually seen behemoth void crit do that to a boss and never would have known!
That's all I can assume it was, given you had so many acolytes that had larva happen, so they had void crit. But to be fair, it's multiple sources of a 0.5% chance to proc
I hope gearbox makes a minion based survivor like this. Atleast one thats more involved than our beloved engie

Thanks for the video. I think that for summon Acolyte Preeminence (Last summon that you show) you need void battery cell like for third engeneers turret. Maybe you can summon third compound and then combine them for this last acolyte guy (Oh, and btw sorry if i make mistakes in comment, im bad in writing in english)

the cooldown is tied to attack speed, it says it in the ability description before starting a run(plus saw after picking up one syringe it went from 45 to 43 per summon.)(not sure how it scales exactly, like hyperbolic(example teddy bears) or not.

Not only that, but it is also considered a "buff", not a debuff, which is why blast shower doesn't work (and that's probably why it's coded as a buff). However, I forgot which mod, but there is a mod that adds more lunar items, and one decreases the duration of both debuffs and buffs, which does work with shaman's passive. Use responsibly as it can easily lag and even crash your game depending on what items you have.
The first time I used shaman, stage one my acolyte got corrupted and killed me

I wish they would add some more varied survivors there are so many guys who just shoot things, not that there isn't any variety but I just they would be more bold and make some crazy stuff like this

idk if you will see this or anythin but i would love it if you added an alt that maybe removes item inheritance and instead significantly reduces acolyte spawn timer. I wanna make a funky army :(
I love using the tp move simply cause it not only tps the summons , but also turrets (non engi) and our Squid friends to you so hes a pretty good squid turret build char
That's awesome, having all those void enemies just appear next to me was so fun
Not getting drone man+empathy cores is criminal on this run.
Haha it's a fantastic combo but it takes away from the survivor cause the cores are so strong, I do love them tho

Fun fact, there is already a very strong summoner setup in ror2, which can be used to do amazing summon damage. This build takes exactly 3 items to get rolling and works best on engineer with stationary turrets.
#1 blooming fungus. Yes, bungus engie op as always.
#2 razorwire. Yes, bungus engie op as always.
#3 happy mask. By stacking plenty of bungus, you'll be able to cover large areas with wonderful healing, which affects the haply mask ghosts.
So, what's the gameplay loop? Deploy turrets, get pizza, kick back, and just relax as the game plays itself.
You can make acolytes spawn faster with attack speed, it said it in the character info screen.

@@trentomento Always good to double check all the tabs on the character select screen, especially with unique characters like Shaman or House.

I'm honestly very happy with this mod. Its basically the exact same abilities as the Tomb Raiser class in the MMORPG "Trove" game that I like to play on and off. Summoners in general are my favourites, but this is just so exactly like Tomb Raiser, same concept, same abilities. Wonder if it was an inspiration for the character?

That m1 would feel so much better if the staf fwas getting waggled around or something, it doesnt appear to have an animation at all. Also the projectiles seem indistinct from one another so you might have trouble finding your point of aim.
Yeah it did feel pretty static it would be fun if there was some sort of movement for sure
I didn’t know about the debug mod, immediately spawned a malachite beetle off spawn to fool around with on xenologist, wanted to mention another fun aspect abuser while I’m here, by default the ditto mod guaranteed spawns a aspect when you copy said elite, haven’t tested it with any modded elite types but if they have a item spawn i’d assume it’d work, not terrible solo but if you run a mod that lets you have bots that can’t loot all your items it’s useful having a ally with mapped moves to transform into as opposed to the games enemies
I didn't even know there was a ditto mod but that sounds awesome
@@trentomento Ditto is really fun with friends since you essentially piggyback them because they’re usually the best option to turn into lmao, also when you copy a vanilla elite it spawns the aspect on the ground so they’re shareable, just tested ditto with some of the modded elites and so far no luck, only tried a few unfortunately but that tricorn mod does force a aspect drop for the modded elites which is pretty nice, didn’t expect Zet Aspects to work with the modded elites but they’ve all got stackable effects from what I can tell, there may be a few that don’t work still haven’t gone through them all, I installed your pack but added a few more dlc mods for the elites, ditto and the tricorn mod to make it drop aspects if you or anyone else who sees this may want to experiment 018e6a79-045e-f272-5bc2-cdf603eae48a

Hey trento, have you tried doing some fun stuff with more modded characters? You could do some fun stuff with characters like the Rocket, Spearman, Arsonist and the Pathfinder!
I have a whole playlist of modded survivors actually and I've done rocket but the other ones are on my list!

Hey the summon cooldown is based on your attack speed, the faster you can attack the faster your summons spawn

Unfortunately theres no animations for the shaman yet. Would definitely add it to my modpack if it did. Hopefully the modders have plans to add them at some point.

I’m 99% sure sacrificing more then 3 guys at once doesn’t make a stronger one, it just takes more then 3, also after you have 2 compounds you can just keep spawning the normal aclites
In the description of the ability it actually says "At least 3 Acolytes are needed for the Ritual of Distorted Fusion. The more are sacrificed, the stronger your new ally will become." I didn't really see it in action but I certainly tried haha

wait, why dont you try this character with a blast shower build? seeing as minion summons cooldown is a "debuff" then clearing it with blast shower should insta summon minions no?
I tried my best but it didn't work for me, that summoning I think scales with attack speed instead of a cool down like bands

just in your own time try removing the cooldown debuff using aerolt, it'll be funny
I'm not even sure if I can but imagine the army I could make
i mean i can see aerolt in the top left, if you go into it there should be a buff/debuff menu you can access(should be in the main menu where you can edit items). using that you can do some fun stuff like removing the cooldowns for stuff(kinda works sometimes) and giving yourself perm buffs like invis, there's a possible video idea!@@trentomento
although the framerate might get a 'little choppy'

I did try to remove it but it wasn't able to be removed sadly, and I know you can do it while paused sometimes I just forget haha
