I initially watched your video and there were some things that I missed, for obvious reasons. Went and watched some other more videos and cam back to this one - what I can confirm is that you have managed to include everything that I thought you missed initially and even more so included your case studies to bring these concepts to life. Thank you. Here comes my distinction...
When I read the book about BSC, I thought it's so much complicated. After seeing your video, BSC becomes quite simple and easy to understand :) Thanks.
I don’t know any HR work but I am so happy I came across this it’s helping me to guide on someone’s course work I am doing 😂😂😂😂. Jesús see where I have found myself 😂but atleast i am learning too
Thanks Bernard for explaining Balanced Scorecard, Metrics and KPIs in a very simple way. It was introduced about 20 years ago in an International organization where I was working. As you said, KPIs/Metrics sometime do not really reflect the organizational goals/strategies in real terms and then every manager tries to convince himself and others that he is Right!
thanks for sharing. Suggestion: please show figures, diagrams. This will facilitate learning and remembering by visualising the parts, sections, segments of Balanced Score Card. Just speaking could get uninteresting soon. Keep up the good work- Thumbs Up!
bernard.. a very consise yet comprehensive explanation. how about public sector? some said financial aspect move down to bottom of BSC. is it true in public sector financial aspect is become enabling aspect?

Sure. I have developed many BSCs for universities, business schools and education organisations. The principles are the same, but you would normally start with the education and research goals, and from there look at the internal processes, finance and learning and growth goals. This is true for any other public sector or not-for-profit organisation. Have a look at these examples: bernardmarr.com/default.asp?contentID=1680
