The writers have done an incredible job with this character. They have given her depth, intelligence, strength, sexuality and a sense of vulnerability. And this actress takes those treated and fills every scene when them. She's extraordinary.

The look on that woman's face when Beth says "my sister-in-law!" The cops actually claimed it was voluntary, like she had a choice here and the last name excuse. So what if her last name is Long, you going to use that excuse in court too? Constitutional rights apply to everyone, not just the wealthy white (of course many times, that's not true in practice, as can be seen here). What they did to Monica here is heartbreaking and humiliating... and illegal, not that they care... at least not until Beth showed up and they realized that the woman they picked on is part of a wealthy family with strong backing. Beth may have a lot of issues but I like how she handled this!

This whole scene hit home and hard. Being half Native American and having something very similar happened, it was very uncomfortable watching it. But truthful. This show delivers on the truth of life, reality. Not some fantasy world where everything is perfect. They did a great job capturing my people's struggles both on the rez and not.🖤💛💙❤

Everyone here who loves Kelly Reilly's portrayal of Beth should go and listen to one of her interviews regarding this show. You will have even more mad respect when you listen to her British accent, and then realize that she created that Beth persona out of sheer talent. If you listened without looking at Kelly, you'd think Beth and Kelly were two separate individuals - not one actress creating Beth.

This scene alone is the reason why I was interested to watch Yellowstone. I was immediately hooked and I LOVE BETH! 1883 leading up to how Dutton Ranch was born was amazing as well! Can't wait for 1932 and season 5!!!!!

Beth actually has a lot of love and compassion in her but only gives it where it's deserved. She loves her family, she just sees and cuts through their bullshit. Smartest of the bunch, she sees them where they don't see themselves. People say she is complex, she really isn't at all.

I think 6 seasons would be good - take or minus a year. That seems to be the optimal run for really good TV shows (Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, the _good_ seasons of Game of Thrones...)

Stuff like this used to happen all the time. back in mid 90's my brother-in-law got drunk and hit my little sister, 10 minutes later i show up, smack him around and hurled his ass out 2nd floor window through an air conditioner like a frisbee. Cops show up and look at my little sister black eye and inform him "i'd be more than happy to arrest him but if I arrest him I'm going have to arrest you too for domestic assault, so unless you wanna go to jail I suggest you chaulk this one up as taking an ass whooping because you made a stupid decision and hit a woman who's big brother will stomp your ass for making such a stupid decision".

I thought I had found what I had been asking for but, alas, you came up a bit short Paramount. This may be my favorite scene out of two full seasons of Yellowstone but could you please release the full scene to us. This abbreviated segment is great but it really gets interesting after this video ends. Maybe one of Beth's finest moments! Thanks for two great seasons and looking forward to June, 2020, it's going to be a long winter.

I’m a huge fan of Taylor Sheridan’s work. Wind River is one of my favorite movies ever. Sheridan does similar great things with Yellowstone- rich character development, gorgeous cinematography, great writing. Beth is an example of great character development. She’s complex, yet loyal and fierce. She makes you say WTF when she’s beating Jamie up then you can’t wait for her to come to Monica’s aid and serve a little comeuppance to the snobby store owner.
Wind River was an amazing film. Very well done.0

Raised by a single mom who never depended on government benefits. Never stole a candy in my life. Yet I’m a suspected criminal every where I go. I’m glad Taylor Sheridan shines the spotlight on issues I face.
I can´t even begin to imagine what you had and still have to go through for just being non white. This scene is very common in the real world and it´s a shame.

I'm quarter native on my father side also Irish and I'm Latin through my mother sadly i am not apart of a tribe i don't have that honor or privilege hopefully one day i can earn it. Throughout the year's people thought i was just one thing out of each one and got shit either way and when people found out that I'm practically mixed with a lot of things they gave me even more shit especially with my accent and i got it from literally everyone didn't matter what they looked like or where there from i got it from almost everybody and it sucked but it's good thing i had a sharper mind, that way i could shut them down with it but still this shit happened and happens to almost everyone and it breaks my heart and breaks my heart even more that no one really gives a shit that it is still happening to the most oppressed people on the planet, yes a few individuals but it's a shame that is it and the fact foreigners show more respect to the tribes more then our own so called "Countrymen" is a fucking disgrace and i know for a fact all this will continue to happen no matter what because America is still a stollen country and I a grateful that Taylor Sheridan is one of the rare few people who not only acknowledges it but teaches it by showing it and i pray that more people realize it and teach to others so that finally one day tribes are able to take it back, so that America can truly be free!
