I'm a 33 old black man and I've never been arrested. the closest I've ever been to a jail or prison is when my mother and my stepfather were married by the Magistrate because they're cheap or being forced to do prison ministry at a church my mother attended what I was in my preteens or as an Uber driver dropping off or picking up a passenger from jail.

Personally I feel for guys that were molested and turn gay because ultimately its because they never had the support system to work that shit out. I was molested when I was 9 and it fucked with my head something heavy. Also, I began to hate gay men because subconsciously I saw all of them as the ones that stole my childhood but have since came to understand that it was just that guy who was a perv, not all gay men. I also think I was fortunate to have a family that made sure that what happened to me was not my fault(because as child you internalize things and subconsciously begin to think that it was your fault that you were molested and it also kills your self-esteem). Come to think of it...I don't wish molestation on my worst enemy and came to realize that my family is dope as fuck for going out of their way to support me and help me through that time in my life. I'm straight and fortunately have never struggled with my sexuality because of the support of my family and therapy and all. It's sad that our community really doesn't take advantage of doctors and therapists to help us with shit. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids on her own and she found a way so fuck that...motherfuckers can do it for their kids if they really want to.
