I had a Mega Flygon on my team, and it absolutely carried me in my Insurgence run. Its speed and sheer power got plenty of OHKOs, especially since there's a lot of Dragon type enemies to fight in the game. One thing that shouldn't be underrated is how early you can get it, you basically have access to it right as you unlock Megas. Definitely one of the best, in my opinion.
Honestly,Mega MArowak getting Parental Bond instantly makes it S Tier. Speed doesn't really matter when you get a 4hit Bonemerang and a Power-Up Punch that gives you Swords Dance.Used it on my randomised playthrough and absolutely sweeped through the game. Same thing with Mega Hydreigon,although it's a bit inconsistent

Honestly regular base eevee isn't eeveen that bad if you get adaptability. It won't be carrying your team or anything but it's abosulity usable until then assuming you have a few strong teammates to help.
Great video! I agree with a lot of things said about these megas. I'm looking forward to see more videos from you. And maybe some day we fan get a uranium guide movie. That's a joke, but i can dream. For real though, great video.

Swords dance mega haxorus pretty much cheeses the game. The AI doesn't know you can turn your dragon type into a steel type so they will hit you with a move that would kill normal haxorus, but because you just mega evolved into a steel dragon type you will almost always survive to swords dance and proc weak armor, which means you basically can setup for a sweep in one turn. +2 atk +1 speed mega haxorus can kill just about anything. The only things it may lose to is glass cannons that are fast, which is why you just give it draco jet priority which kills pretty easily when you have plus two attack. I run it with swords dance, eq, draco jet and outrage. This moveset while optimal can be walled by fairy and flying types, togekiss is completely immune. When situations like this happen I switch out a move for return or aqua tail

My take is Haxorus is probably the best mega even more than flygon for in-game reasons. Its stats are great and the potential to sweep teams cannot be underestimated. Plus you literally get a FREE Axew before the first gym. And it will be good for the rest of the game. Plus it’s mega only requires to be able to soar which compared to other mega stones that can admittedly be a hassle. It’s handed to you.

3:45 IT ACTUALLY DOES!!!... kinda. Through breeding with Roserade it can get Weather Ball, an unorthodox move that doubles in power and changes type depending on the weather. In sun it turns into a 100 base power fire-type move. Since you have to use it in sun as well you might as well go with Solar Beam, Growth (which has its effect doubled in sun), and Synthesis (which recovers health by 2/3 under sun). Is THIS enough to make Sunflora good? ... well, yes, but there are definitely better options for grass type sun abusers especially considering that Mega Sunflora doesn't get Chlorophyll.
I love insurgence megas so much. It’s a shame a lot of these exist because now the main series games can’t use them for legendsZ. Unless game freak wakes up and reaches out to insurgence 👀

Man imagine Mega Feraligator in the main games it would be terrifying since it has Tough Claws as an ability and can learn Dragon Dance to increase Attack and Speed meaning you can mostly focus eves into it's HP, Def, Sp.Def & Sp.Attack making it a fast bulky attacker.

Mega Haxorus made the game so much easier for me. After a single dragon dance it could outspeed and ohko almost everything.

The front sprite of mega flygon looks terrifying, like GSC feraligatr, but the back sprite looks....more like flygon

I had started with eevee, and then mega eevee was my go to mega for 90% of the game. Lil Lumine was a menace for how swiss army knife that mega is.

Is Insurgence making a comeback? I played this game years ago and only saw a couple of playthroughs that covered it at the time.
You should check Pokémon reloaded, it has a different approach to battles and could give you a new series like this
