    I'm happy to see my paternal and maternal sides meeting there to share their royal wisdom with us. More grease to your elbows. My mum is an assin and my dad from manpong akrofoso. I'm highly excited.

    All Akans are from one womb. Let's see ourselves as one people. Fantes, Ashanties, Akim's/Akyems, Bono, kwahu's, etc. I'm half Sɛkyerɛ and kwabere in Asante region. We are one family.

      Not all fantis are Ashantis. Some fantis are ewes. The Aneho people used to lived in fanti land before the fanti came. When the Aneho people left some remain spoke fanti and eventually forgot the ewe language.

    Oh how I love my culture. The Queens were very beautiful. Our great Women should be more recognize and appreciated in history. Since our culture is based on matrilineal heritage. Asantemaa deserves better. I am very happy they pointed it out. It is very important for out Queen and Queen mothers to push more for their right. It will help young women to be more respected in the Society and marriages. It could marginalize Women Abuse in the Society.
    I ❤️ to be from Asante Kingdom. 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
    I would have love to hear our language though.

    Wowzy!! What an interesting, inspirational show & very well handled by Nanayere.👌🏾 Well, there we go, after all, you're a MOGAN!! 🤣🤣 N thanks to the Queen mothers for reliving v relevant historical background, as well as revelations within the chieftaincy & current structures. Obviously, male chauvinism continues to reign supreme!😮 Time for a rethink & change, Agyanom, Haaba!🤷🏾‍♀️ Nana Ahemaa, long may your good deeds continue. Fab show 👍🏾

    The golden stool was hidden in a cave at Barikese. So nana yaa asantewaah fired the gun to scare the british and their alied asantes. It was at that time that they moved the golden stool from there to anither location for safe keeping. The situation has been wooving into proverb and when you hear the ashantis saying etuo ato wo bare then it means an asantehene has died.

    I love Kronko Hemaa explanation of who are the Asante are but l think she sometimes struggled with her words choices. For example instead of ‘king’ she used ‘chief’ for an Asantehene.
    I have a question about the Assin people: if they are Asantes but geographically in Central region, does their paramount chief swear an oath to Asantehene?

    • @jupiter5041
      @jupiter5041 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Gifty I enjoy ur problem but I was shock to my core to see and hear u ramblings with ur Twi words and sentences even at your introduction of guest. I guess u should study the history of ur topic of discussion very at all time before u get on set.it is a shame but I guess u have still room to improve .u have to be fluent on the Twi language as u do in the English language.
