Am I the only one that wanted to learn Korean, but didn't have time to study it. Had to listen to kpop so that you may like to increase your listening skills and improve your Korean vocabulary and maybe sentence structure when you recognise some of the words the artist's says in their songs?
Rather than songs, listening to people speak (kdramas, TV shows) is more likely to help you with language acquisition. Words can be pronounced differently in songs sometimes and the grammar isn't always "correct" per se. They still can be helpful of course
I love everyone sharing their reasons, I'm marrying into a Korean family. I want to be able to speak with my mother and father-in-law the most. But the whole family including grandma are going on a cruise this December so I better learn quick !

I love the slow speed so we can make sure we are creating the correct sounds and copying the shape of her mouth with each sound. The sentences and phrases are also simple and important. @@bangtan_allforbts I was referring to the Spoken language. Not the written language. Japanese only uses chinese characters to write Nouns, adjectives, and verbs. For everything else they us KANA which represent sounds like Hangul does. The Japanese and Chinese spoken languages are nothing alike though. The Japanese and Korean spoken languages are more similar to each other because of their syntax, honorifics, and subject markers.
Why mostly ppl are here for kpop thing....learn if ur interested and actually wanna learn, doing it for kpop is not bad but it isn't how you can learn it....sure it will help but i have seen many ppl doing same and the results are not thay good..cherish it and make it main focus!!! Thank you,byee❣️

I have a random question about pronunciation in Korean......The correlation between the letters in Korean and the sounds seem to be pretty consistent for the most part...........but I notice that "d and t" k and g" b and p" switch from time to time .....is there a rule that needs to be followed for this? or does the particular pronunciation need to be memorized?
I am kind of new so I don't know for sure... but I think they have different signs or "letters" in Hangul. Some people say the g as a k and etc just because that's what their used to, but I don't know for sure so please don't take my word for it! Hope I helped at least a little bit, sorry.
