As a wedding bartender, if you feed us (vendors) we will go above and beyond to make wedding magic. Your thoughtfulness means the world and we appreciate so much! Also, holy crap. This Susan needs a psychiatrist.
At my wedding, we had 2 choices of entrees, and I told the vendors they were welcome to eat, and the catering staff they could leave early (2 hours left to go), as everyone had eaten and the cake was gone, and I wouldn't tell thier boss...😂 Didn't realize he was there.. 😂 I also tipped them each $100, in a thank you card. He laughed and said he liked how I thought😂 I let the venue vendor keep the tablecloths and other decorations as an upgrade package, because it's a small town, small business. My advice to Charlotte , a d any other brides, was advice my friend Michele gave me, as she did my hair- No one at your wedding knows how you envisioned today, so if it's not exactly as you planned, if something is forgotten, no one else will know, so don't stress about it.🤷♀️ I forgot my cake topper, and to have someone pick up the cake.😂 Our DJ's boss picked up the cake, thankfully. ❤😂
Who else is bawling their freaking eyes out over Haley! The love she has for this bride, the true devotion and friendship. The fact that she’s just struggling… The fact that the bride is doing everything to make sure that her best friend is there for her on her wedding day… I can’t I can’t keepa dry eye! I am sending every positive vibe every positive prayer every positive thought to this bridesmaid and bride, I pray to all the gods and all the universe that Haley comes out on the other side, strong and healthy!
Finally a bride who actually had full support from her fiance, his family and all her family. This was very entertaining, thankyou for sharing a part of your life.
I was thinking that too! In all the stories we get, there’s always half the people that side with the bad person. This is the first story I’ve ever heard where everybody was on the bright side and it was wonderful.
I think this is the first video I've seen where the parents and other relatives sided with the right person instead of enabling the evil sibling... I'm glad OP is supported by her family as well as her in-laws...
As a breast cancer survivor, and as someone who lost her hair to chemo, having people surprise you by shaving their heads in solidarity is ABSOLUTELY amazing. Friends of mine surprised me when they showed up to dinner bald still makes me tear up to this day. God bless this bride. She’s everything a best friend should be. And yes, I’ve been CANCER FREE for almost 3 years! 🎀🎀🎀
Congratulations on 3yrs. I have been in remission since 2018 myself. My dad shaved his head, but he was ~60% bald anyway. 😂 People who support you such as this bride did for her MoH and vice versa are special people.
Can confirm. 😂😂😂 If people are more bothered because of the loss of your life than the loss of your hair, then you can call them friends. ⭐✨😎 3 years cancer free here as well. 🎉
I vaguely remember being 6 years old hearing the "you can put lipstick on a pig" comment, and I asked the lady if that's why she was wearing lipstick. I was called a brat and became very confused. My aunty told her, "Children speak truth when adults cant" gave me a hug and a popsicle! 😂
In real estate "lipstick on a pig" is used to describe cheap remodels that are surface level only. I'm guessing since mom is a realtor, everyone in the family knows and uses the phrase.
These pics of Mike creeping up and in from the bottom and sides of the screen are sending me into hysterical laughter!! OMG Char…. You are so amazing!! Love your face, congratulations on your wedding!
As a woman without hair, hearing that someone would shave their head so I wouldn't feel alone is more than a pat on the back. If anything it's the type of kindness that makes me cry because it shows someone cares about you. I know how it feels with the mental beatings you end up dealing to yourself from losing hair, but here's the way I see it after more than a decade of dealing with it: I can have whatever hair color and length I want at any time I want. There's always a perk to hair loss, you just have to find it.
"There's always a perk to hair loss, you just have to find it." For me, there were a couple. I wore fabulous scarves, and I didn't have to shave my legs all summer (I had my chemo starting late spring).
When I was 18mo old, I pulled some hot water onto myself and the result was my entire chest getting brutally scarred. I don't have breasts. The only up side is that I getting to pick my bra size. Find the positive in every negative. I'll bet you look freaking amazing
I was wondering if there was a chance she might see that and wonder if he was making fun of her? If she knows him well enough it's a great gesture, it's a great gesture either way, but could be a bit risky how she'd react when seeing it.
Wait, what? Haley got cancer to "steal her day"? Did I hear that right? I have no words. I am just tearing up at how lovely this bride is to her friend; she truly understands friendship, and what really matters at the wedding.
I stopped the video and read the little bit that was left after the pushing part. Haley politely suggested that she could give Susan another black eye, so it would match the first one nicely. It would be pretty good for a raccoon look, for example. :D But yeah, it would be nice to have more updates to this story. Because now it was left a bit like in the tv series, the clif hanger point. :D
26:01 it’s 5am here in Australia and I just screamed “SHE MOVED IN THE SHADOWSSSSS!” So loud I think I woke up my neighbours 😂😂 but AAAHHHH SO GOOOOODDD!!!!
Never have I felt so many emotions while watching an AITA reaction video before! 😂 I laughed, I cried, I nearly flipped a table. The feelings were felt!
This story had me crying when you talked about your passed with Hayley. Omg. Her having cancer got even more sad and I didn't think that would be possible. Beautiful soul!!
My friend’s maid of honor had terminal cancer. It was so special to spend that time with her, to see her host and participate in all these events, and make memories with friends and family before she passed. In her celebrating my friend, we got to see her as the caring person she was. I still get teary looking at the photos of her from those days and knowing she’s no longer with us. I can’t imagine her not being there.
I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. You all sound like amazing caring people ❤ I’m a 2X breast cancer survivor. I got zero love or support. My husband of 30 yrs filed for divorce when the cancer returned. Just know that your friend went to Heaven so engulfed in LOVE I’d bet she glowed when Jesus welcomed her! I’d say more but I’m already in tears. Keep being the compassionate person you are and all that love will come back to you! Thank you for sharing your friend’s story
NOOO! CHARLOTTE YOU'VE NEVER LEFT US HANGING LIKE THIS 😢😢OH MY WORD NOW I'M GOING TO NEED A CPL OF EXTRA GLASSES OF WINE 🍷 JUST TO GET TO SLEEP..I'M 57 In February all you young bloods, I can do that 😂😅❤🎉
Boy… i went to the OG post and we must applaud Charlotte for pulling through HALF of the whole saga in one reading. I went right through the showdown and aftermath and people it’s piping 🥵 hot! Respect to our Potato Queen and this saga deserves a full compilation of its own.
Did the original post end the update with Susan shoving a cancer patient, just to finish telling us the rest of the incident in a separate update? As if we needed a cliffhanger to stay invested?
It was disappointing she skipped the ending. I went to Reddit to read it. It was an epic one, and it would've been perfect to get to see Charlotte's reactions about it. Oh, well...
@@Vaneth101Imagine Charlotte's sing-song voice saying "Tell me, tell me, tell meeee!" I don't want to chase down this story on Reddit. Can you give us an abbreviated version? "
@@nancyrukavena6992 Now I have to answer because you used that line, lol. Basically, Susan started a fight at the cocktail hour, the hotel security tried to get her out of there, but she took one of her shoes with a sharp heel and used it as a weapon. The police was called and she attacked them with her shoes. It was a shit show that all happened while the bride and groom was still on the way. Their limo had to wait a bit due the amount of police cars being at the hotel when they arrived, so they got to see Susan being walked out in handcuffs and put in a police car.
I genuinely cried over this one. And as a sister, a younger sister at that, I simply can't fathom that behaviour. My siblings would never. It's all love and support.
Nice video. Just a few weeks ago, my partner, with whom I’ve been for 5 years, decided to leave me for someone else. I really love him so much, and I don’t think it’s possible for me to just forget him or move on. I’ve tried my best to forget about him, but honestly, I can’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve tried everything to get him back because I want him back, but nothing is working. I’m frustrated and can’t stop thinking about him. I don’t even know why I’m sharing this here, but I really miss him and can’t stop thinking about him.
It’s difficult to let go of someone you love. I was in a similar situation. My relationship of 12 years ended, but I couldn’t just let him go. I did everything I could to get him back, and eventually, I sought the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring him back.
Great Idea! ❤ When I listen to these Reddit aloud videos I can't help but think, how much the narrator has learned, and how much better as a person they must have become! They might even be able to pass any classes or tests to become a therapist😂! But if enough people just watch them & learn from them, the world might become better off❤!!! I mean, sometimes it's not entitlement to cause these bad decisions but plain not knowing the right way forward/response 😮!!! (Until seeing others opinions)
@@marshawargo7238 I’d wish it would work that way but seeing how many hateful/ extreme people are sometimes in some comment sections I doubt it (But maybe with a good moderation team?)
Charlotte, you may need pass codes for your wedding. Not because friends or family might do something but internet haters. Don't let anyone steal that day from you❤
Absolutely just in case! You never know for 100% certainty that even people you know well won't act out. Not to make you paranoid, but having that extra security for added peace of mind. ^-^
Please add a passcode when you are planning your wedding! There are so many crazy people out there - there could very well be someone out there that's jealous of you and might contact your vendors and change things!! You can't trust people these days!
The best man offering to shave his head had me in tears. Those are the priorities and attitudes of people you want at your wedding, and in your life. Weddings reveal people.
In the 3-4 years I have been following Charlotte, I don't think I have EVER had the gift of a 37 minute video before. I can't believe there's still one more update! This whole video was a rollercoaster of emotions. Hayley is a national treasure and that's an understatement, while Susan....to amend the saying, with family like that, who needs enemies? Diabolical is the only suitable word for her. My goodness.
As a 2X Breast Cancer Survivor, this Bride and her Husband, and his best man melted my heart! My Husband of 30 yrs filed for divorce at my diagnosis. My stepdad said “suck it up buttercup we all have problems, you’re no one special!” I got no calls, no support. Nothing from my 7 Siblings. A friend brought me meals after my surgeries and I begged rides for surgeries & appts. Edited to add what most of us want & need going thru cancer (and any life threatening illness) is to know someone cares! That we matter & we are worth it! We need a reminder that “it’s going to be OK… even if it’s not” This Bride should’ve thrown that sister out at the 1st problem but holy cow after her complaints about Hailey and her Cancer? Oh dear lord…. I’d go no contact! I hope & pray Hailey is now cancer free and in the Survivor Club. OP sounds like a wonderful amazing friend. I wish her and her Husband a life long happy & healthy marriage ❤ Ps…. Do. Not. Skip. Those. Mammograms 💖 Mine literally saved my life! Twice!
@Sar-ahG new guidance is to get mammogram scans starting at age 40. but if you have family history of breast cancer, start getting scans at age 25 and follow your doctor's advice.
How beautiful you put it, about wanting to have those memories with your friends. I’ve lost some people the past years and this is so true. Nothing else but those memories means anything. ❤
My bunny (Mr Butters) passed away a few months ago and when he would hear your turkey impression he would go nuts, it was hilarious and I miss it! Edit, thank you all for so much love. I posted it on my channels because I needed a break and all I got was horrible, heartless and hateful comments that I had to delete. I haven't posted a video since.
@MrsWellner thank you. He never had a cage because I have epilepsy and he was my support bun (yes they do the same as dogs) and I live alone. He held on until I finished chemo before he passed. 😭
Susan's an example of someone who never truly got help for her grief and makes it everyone else's problem. No, going to therapy for a bit isn't enough if you haven't gathered the tools and strength to manage in that time. Sometimes you have to continue for the rest of your life but that is on YOU to do, it is not on anyone else to manage your grief for you or to put up with you lashing out and putting up with your cruelty because you aren't managing yourself properly.
Honestly i think the grief revealed who she truly was rather than the grief itself being the cause of her behavior. Sadness doesn't make you self centered, it makes you sad, worried, or angry or numb.
Except that when you’re in grief you don’t recognise that’s the issue. I needed counselling after my mother’s sudden death. I was 18. Instead I became a difficult person with temper rages and jealousy. Got through it eventually but it would have been easier on me, my family and friends if I hadn’t been expected to be “ brave”.
@@Sujowi That doesn't discount what I said, nor did I ever say anything about 'just tough it out and be brave' or anything? It does suck that others made you feel like you had to simply suck it up and deal with it though because that's no way for anyone to handle things, all forcing that on others leads to is things like repression or simply never confronting one's emotions. Whether someone recognizes they need help or not though, nobody else is required or should be expected to simply 'put up' with abuse that someone throws out because of their grief. Just like in this story, was it okay for Susan to act out like this because she didn't seem to recognize she needed to get help and work on her still-affecting-her grief? Grief's a difficult thing to work through but it is not an excuse for what we do to others. As much as that sucks to say when we ourselves have hurt others, and I know that personally.
I kicked my twin sister out of my wedding because she was beyond jealous...I definitely don't regret after 5 years now. Same thing! I literally planned everything around her (BACH, engagement dinner, dress shopping, venue shopping) it was obvious she was trying to avoid 😢
I hate that for you 😢 I have been blessed in the department of siblings. I didn't realize how lucky l was. Now I hear these stories and it makes me so sad. Wishing you the best life ever 😊
This sister just seems to be living her next wedding vicariously thru you. So when she starts saying things like "I wouldn't wear that!" I would answer "Did I ask you to?? And when she starts talking about "I would do this or choose that!" I would say "Well, I'm not you and I have already chosen what I want to do or use. I didn't ask you if you would do it - it's MY WEDDING! And what she said about Hailey trying to "Steal your day"?? Yeah, the poor girl deliberately went out and got cancer just so she could "steal your day!" How does one just go out and contract cancer?? It's not like chicken pox - you don't just go around someone who has them to catch them!! I would have kicked her out of the wedding right then and there! She's rude, selfish, and completely horrible with the comments about poor Hailey. She'd be gone - not just kicked out the wedding party but uninvited to the wedding too! I wouldn't want such a toxic person around on such an important day in my life!
If people cannot be happy for you and love you they don’t need to be there. Family or not. Being blood related DOES NOT give you the excuse to treat people like garbage.
I have a terminal breast cancer. My aunt got married during my chemo. She even made it a point to get a make up artist so that she could draw my eyebrows on and things like that and cater to me even though I told her I would gladly drop out. The girl sister is vile. if anyone talked to my best friend like that about me, sister or otherwise, she would flip out. I tied a ribbon around my dress to match my scarf! The other girls tied ribbons around their dresses so immune didn’t stick out! It was super nice of them to do! (All were approved by bride and matched wedding theme)
My solution to getting advice in general (but I used when wedding planning) was to respond with “that’s something to consider” and then just do what I was going to do.
😂this is how my sister would respond when offered advice from our mom. Thankfully we had a wonderful mom who didn’t get angry if her advice wasn’t taken. But it left no room for debate in the moment. 😊
I do hope we get to hear the final update. Like many others have said, I was totally into this one! Plus, the bride, what an amazing woman the way she looks out for her friend, that is a true friendship that will last forever!
Ooh boy, its always a Susan. My best friends MIL is named Susan and she did very similar antics at the wedding. She was so attrocious we had to lock to the door to the room everyone was getting ready in so that she wouldnt say rude things to the bride. And groom had prepped a whole team of groomsmen to forcibly remove his mom (Susan) if she acted up at all. Long story short, she did end up getting forcibly removed, kicking and screaming. 🤣
@ she wanted to get back at BIL’s Dad (they’d been divorced for 30+ years). She made a speech at the wedding, numerous jabs at FIL, then FIL made a nice speech…then she had to go back and make another speech to have the last say. She made FIL’s life hell for the better part of two decades and is still bitter.
@@WhereTheBeaversLive Wow! Can't she just forget him? 30+ years divorced and still has to jab at him? Remarry, get a new job or hobby something. She needs a life!
As someone fighting aggressive breast cancer right now, what she was doing for her best friend is amazing :) My best friend has been my rock through my treatments and it truly makes all the difference in the world 🥰
One of the only two times I was a bridesmaid, the bride chose the color forest green for us but we each had a different style that she, being an up and coming fashion designer, had created especially for us. She looked stunning and so did us the bridesmaids. I’ve definitely worn the dress 👗 again! 5:18
that's so amazing and special she created them specifically for you all! I personally loveeee the idea of bridemaids having the same color but their own perferred designs. it just makes so much sense to me as women's bodies are just so different and beautiful in their own lil ways :)
I would really love to hear the final update!!! I have been rooting for this bride from the start. My bestie stepped down from my wedding because of my SIL. So I uninvited my SIL, but bestie said "its your day and your brothers will have issues if im there". I understood and made sure I included her in every aspect that i could.
I swear my daughter (4mo) always stops crying and listens when she hears your voice! Thanks for helping me get her to calm down before a morning nap! She heard your videos way too much in the womb 😂
I need an update so badly! This was awesome and I’m so invested in this story! Sorry to OP for this mess. The brighter side is she and her husband walk away with a dramatic story to tell their grandchildren one day! But we got the story first 😂 Don’t leave it on a cliffhanger Charlotte!!!
Unrelated, but we just found out that we're expecting our first baby and your cheery and funny videos are helping me get through my "morning" sickness (which is never just in the morning). Thank you Queen Charlotte! ❤ Love your content
I love that the the mom was not opposed to kicking her daughter out of the wedding just wanted it done outside of the church. 😂 Also…..where is the update!?! I need a refill on my tea!
The second someone started having a go at my bestie for having literal cancer and implying their having cancer would ruin anything, they'd be done forever.
My best friend and I were friends for 41 years until we lost her. She was diagnosed with MS as a teenager. I got married at 25 and by then she was partially wheelchair bound. I didn't care and asked her to be my MOH. My elder sister was such a B during the planning as she kept complaining that the wheelchair would ruin everything. Finally, I had enough and toldnhernif she said one more negative thing about my best friend or wedding I would revoke her invitation. She finally stopped when my grandma put her in her place (grandma was paying for my wedding and my sister's wedding the following year). It turned out she was mad that I was getting married before her (she is 6 years older), and that our dad was walking me down the aisle first. How mature, she was 31 at the time. My wedding was beautiful and my best friend was gorgeous. I love and miss my best friends and looking at my wedding pictures and seeing just how happy we were fills my heart.
The best man and I think you said groom willing to shave their heads for this poor girl with cancer just touched my heart so much!! How special is that!!! Extremely sensitive and special. And I love your quote about “Bugs are attracted to light” was genius and I’m saving it to use for myself sometime if you don’t mind.
I ended up breaking up with my fiancée, but as I was planning the wedding, I told my bridesmaids that I didn't care what they looked like: I just wanted them there. I even told my maid of honor that she could wear her T-Rex costume if she wanted, which would have just been hysterical.
Nooooo!!!! We need the update!!!!!! I need the tea!!!!!!!!!!!! Also love your videos. And honestly growing up in my collahw years and now 21. You're videos always made my day to keep pressing forward with this new chapter. You looked absolutely stunning in your dress and i cant wait for you to start this new chaper in your life❤ thanks for letting me grow up with you and hope for the best for planning the wedding. Pleeeeeeese update??? I can't find it on Reddit. I love you so oooo much Charlotte!! Btw I named my daughter Charlotte... She is 32. We both listen to you every day ❤❤❤❤
I was diagnosed with cancer a couple months after my best friend of 16 years got engaged, she asked me to be her bridesmaid the day I got my first surgery. We have a million plans on the cool things we can do if I’m bald at her wedding!! Remember when that a true bestfriend goes through every success and hardship right along side you, I’m undeniably blessed to be loved by such an amazing person
Charolette girl, Mike's got you glowing! Love looks amazing on you! Thank you Mike, Charolette very much deserved to find such happiness. Now she seems on cloud 9 and we all are so happy for you both. I mean , you really won the lottery with this one, Charolettes' got every good quality a guy could ever hope for in a partner! ❤❤❤❤ yay im so happy!
@@patriciamurfitt4590 I LOVE how excited we all are, but how we're all so respectful of Charlotte's privacy, and we know our Queen will bless us when she's ready. She's built an incredible community
I lost my best friend to breast cancer. We weren’t each other’s maid of honour because we met after we were both married but she was that once in a lifetime friend. We should have grown into gossiping old ladies drinking tea and playing cards on the porch together. When she was nearing the end I started doing this thing where I said yes to anything she suggested (activities wise) because no matter how much something might not have been my thing I would never skip on opportunities to spend time with her and have these memories. The bride was awesome to want her friend there with her no matter what because those memories matter more than you can know in the moment.
We fed our entire wait staff, DJ, photographer, with charcuterie so it was easy to pick at, and later ordered pizza delivered and made sure they had some too. And we chose dark/forest green bridesmaid dresses. I insisted the girls pick whichever style they wanted, wherever they wanted to get them and I'd pay. I just wanted them to be able to get at least another use or two out of them in life because I hate the idea of "disposible fashion".
Props to the editors on your team Charlotte for always 1. Putting out these videos and 2. Splicing in clips from movies/tv shows/etc. at the right moments to add more laughs or play off of your comedy or sass! They get me every time and make the videos so much more enjoyable!
I often listen to you in the mornings when I do my barn chores, and every time you do your Gobble Gobble, my turkeys pop off with a GOOBOBOBLLLLE chorus of their own😂💖🦃
Hearing you talk about your dress gave me a fuzzy feeling, like it was one of my sisters talking about their wedding... It brings me so much joy!!! I cannot wait for pictures of your special day!!!!!!!!
I agree that when adult siblings are out of control parents need to say something. Had my mom told my brothers not to be abusive towards me we’d still have a relationship. However, she was so worried about losing them by telling them the truth she didn’t care about losing me. The abuse was abhorrent and vindictive. Done with them too and am so much happier. Love how much this bride is doing to have her best friend by her side. She is a good person.
I also have a brother who has been an 🍑 for most of his life, especially towards me, and our parents did nothing because they were afraid of damaging their relationship with him. I still live with my parents because the housing market is a ♀️🐩, but I recently found a place I can afford, so if all the paperwork goes through and I can bring this deal to the closing table, I will finally have control over how much access my family members have to my life. My mom is also slowly arriving at the realization that my brother is messed up and that her and my dad's constant enabling is to blame. So, we'll see what happens. I just wanted to say I know how much it sucks when your parents give your siblings carte blance to be an 🍑
I was SO invested in this week's gripping episode of the hit show, "Weddings, witches, and WOW what a shiner!" This was quite the adventure and so glad to hear all the updates and especially someone standing up so firmly to such evil. It's a good thing no one was around me there at the end, because when OP said Susan pushed Haley, I shot straight up in outrage, hollering "She hit the CANCER patient??!!!!!" and everything around me went flying - empty glass, remote, phone, clean wipes - it was a sight, I'm sure!! 😂😂😂 So glad that she shared this story and thanks to you, Charlotte, for always being our Petty Queen 😍
Best AITA yet!!! I love this story. It was a dream story for all the nice girls out there to see the bully get what was coming to her. And I am not a vengeful person. ❤

My niece best friend passed the year before her wedding with cancer. Even though she wasn’t there my niece had her best friend’s son as part of the service and incorporated her into the reception. It was all beautiful and we all wished she could have been there. That bride is wonderful taking care of her best friend that way.
This story needs to be turned into a book, it's that good. Love Haley Is such an amazing BFF, I love the love they share with each other. She's so lucky to have 2 soulmates.
When I was planning my wedding, my mom was the biggest drama, but I had long ago decided that I wanted to make my own wedding dress. So she didn’t have anything to say about it at a shop. Sometimes I look back and am wistful that I didn’t do the dress shopping, but I was able to make something that I loved.
Haley is amazing and I'm so glad OP is able to return the favor! The only thing I hate about their friendship is the trials the two women have had to endure together. "I don't want your wedding to be less than perfect." "It can be perfect if you've had to shave your head, or can't stand up for the ceremony. It can't be perfect if you're not there." GOALS. It's so refreshing to hear a bride who knows what is important and what's details that can be let go, and a best friend who was there through the roughest patch of her friend's life getting repaid by having her friend return that energy. Haley is what Susan *should* have been.
Production needs a raise! Laughed out loud when Mike came peeking out when talking about what a wedding was! Married happily over 30 years… simple wedding and focused on marriage not the event! Stop the Instagram posts already! And. So SO HAPPY her parents stood by her! Great parenting! And great job standing by your friend! Girl is sick! And a happy day will be good for her!

⭐✨😎
3 years cancer free here as well. 🎉
Congrats to you for winning this fight. Good luck ahead with a bright future🎉
@@libbit75 I had strangers on the Internet offering to shave their heads. I was in tears begging them not to. It was incredibly sweet though.🥰
OMG, CHAR! We NEED the final update! I was ALL IN!!!!
I agree 💯
It was a rude thing to pull!
Yes yes yes!! The suspense is ahhhhhh! Lol
1000% at least give us the link to the update!
On the OG post it says she will update tomorrow, so there's still no final update.
im deaddddd lmfaooooo
Also “You can’t put flowers in an asshole and call it a vase.”
@Bichphucdat-Doh oh my! Hahahah
🤣🤣🤣
In real estate "lipstick on a pig" is used to describe cheap remodels that are surface level only. I'm guessing since mom is a realtor, everyone in the family knows and uses the phrase.
I'm here enjoying the tea and didn't realize how much I needed to hear "because bugs are attracted to light" 😭
"There's always a perk to hair loss, you just have to find it."
For me, there were a couple. I wore fabulous scarves, and I didn't have to shave my legs all summer (I had my chemo starting late spring).
I lost it a little bit when the one groomsman said he would shave his head so he could match Haley. So sweet.
Im bald
Wait, what? Haley got cancer to "steal her day"? Did I hear that right? I have no words. I am just tearing up at how lovely this bride is to her friend; she truly understands friendship, and what really matters at the wedding.
Sounds like some people I know
getting farther in and OMG they're BOTH epically friends
I stopped the video and read the little bit that was left after the pushing part. Haley politely suggested that she could give Susan another black eye, so it would match the first one nicely.
It would be pretty good for a raccoon look, for example. :D
But yeah, it would be nice to have more updates to this story. Because now it was left a bit like in the tv series, the clif hanger point. :D
What in the living F@$%!
26:01 it’s 5am here in Australia and I just screamed “SHE MOVED IN THE SHADOWSSSSS!” So loud I think I woke up my neighbours 😂😂 but AAAHHHH SO GOOOOODDD!!!!
High five from USA!!🎉
Never have I felt so many emotions while watching an AITA reaction video before! 😂 I laughed, I cried, I nearly flipped a table. The feelings were felt!
Right? And when she got to the slap I was kinda shocked (but pleased hahah) and when Haley was attacked I was mortified!!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend this is so beautiful 🫂 ❤ I cried a little at this
I’m so deeply sorry for your loss.

Yeah, need the whole saga for this one!
Amazing! How did you find a spiritual counselor, and how can I reach him?
His name is FatherAkabu . He’s a great spiritual counselor, and he can help bring back your ex-partner.
Thank you so much! You’ve just saved my life. I’ll look him up now.
You need love and support and time to heal. I am hoping for the best!
This is my new favorite. It's like this bride had been paying attention to your videos and knew exactly what to do to protect her day. Brilliant!
I think Charlotte can now rightfully mark her videos as “Educational”
@@marshawargo7238 I’d wish it would work that way

The best man offering to shave his head had me in tears. Those are the priorities and attitudes of people you want at your wedding, and in your life. Weddings reveal people.
It's amazing how all others are so sensible and supportive. OP is very lucky to have such wonderful people around.
Prayers for Haley
In the 3-4 years I have been following Charlotte, I don't think I have EVER had the gift of a 37 minute video before. I can't believe there's still one more update! This whole video was a rollercoaster of emotions. Hayley is a national treasure and that's an understatement, while Susan....to amend the saying, with family like that, who needs enemies? Diabolical is the only suitable word for her. My goodness.
I saw the length and got really excited! Got a nice cuppa and a blanket
Amazing parents too, sticking up for the bride... along with all my hearts best wishes for Haley. True friendship is a beautiful thing to experience 💖
But seriously, leaving us hanging without sharing the final update! WTHeck?!?!?
😂
I took a drink, stood up and applauded to this girl!!! The slap and the whole family in on the petty?! So Good. I could sip this tea all day!
I think having the ex-BIL there was both moving in the shadows and the pettiness, but that's just my opinion FWIW.
As a 2X Breast Cancer Survivor, this Bride and her Husband, and his best man melted my heart! My Husband of 30 yrs filed for divorce at my diagnosis. My stepdad said “suck it up buttercup we all have problems, you’re no one special!”
I got no calls, no support. Nothing from my 7 Siblings. A friend brought me meals after my surgeries and I begged rides for surgeries & appts.
Edited to add what most of us want & need going thru cancer (and any life threatening illness) is to know someone cares! That we matter & we are worth it! We need a reminder that “it’s going to be OK… even if it’s not”
This Bride should’ve thrown that sister out at the 1st problem but holy cow after her complaints about Hailey and her Cancer? Oh dear lord…. I’d go no contact! I hope & pray Hailey is now cancer free and in the Survivor Club. OP sounds like a wonderful amazing friend. I wish her and her Husband a life long happy & healthy marriage ❤
Ps…. Do. Not. Skip. Those. Mammograms 💖

Glad you survived it all, as for husband and so on... this situation unfortunately showed their true colors, I say Good riddance. Happy new year!
I'm glad you are healthy and well now💜
When are you supposed to start?
Glad to hear you beat it!!
@Sar-ahG new guidance is to get mammogram scans starting at age 40. but if you have family history of breast cancer, start getting scans at age 25 and follow your doctor's advice.
"for your next wedding" Girl thats fire. Just the perfect slap back.

@@Danisuzettegentle hug.
YES! Say it louder for the people in the back! 🙌
Wow I am literally tearing up reading how Haley took care of OP in the wake of Duke's passing. What a friend
BEST STORY EVER!!! Susan, you are an absolute MONSTER.
Charlotte, please we need that update!!! It's so much sweeter when you read these stories!
The bride is such a sweetheart. I hope Haley gets better.
I’m sorry your twin sister was awful, I have an identical twin sister and we would never do that to each other.
I'm so sorry you have to go through that. ♡

This saga is amazing!!! Please Charlotte, we need a part 2 with your reaction to the final update!!
Has she done an update?
Yes, please!
She DID mention there was another part to this in the video, right?
🥰
My solution to getting advice in general (but I used when wedding planning) was to respond with “that’s something to consider” and then just do what I was going to do.
Yes! And "You're entitled to your opinion." as a backup.
There’s the ‘That’s nice.’ in a sweet Southern accent….😉
Please say you wrote that in the subreddit of charlotte i would love to hear that story!
My BIL’s mom is also a Susan and made her son’s wedding all about her
@@WhereTheBeaversLive Hope this isn't inappropriate to ask. Why did your BIL's mom do that?
@ she wanted to get back at BIL’s Dad (they’d been divorced for 30+ years). This is by far the best AITA bridal story I’ve EVER heard on your channel. So, so satisfying.

Love when Charlotte gets all excited especially when people say they moved in the shadows ❤
YES!!! That made me so happy to see that genuine appreciation/wonder/happiness in Charlotte’s eyes in that moment! ❤

I just wanted to say I know how much it sucks when your parents give your siblings carte blance to be an 🍑
@ thank you. I truly hope everything works out for you and you get your own place so you can take back control❤️❤️❤️
3:55 OMG I love this so much HAHA. Yes, Burgandy red is an absolutely gorgeous color. Charlotte, I'll back you up in the ring. 🤣
Funniest part is: Charlotte's shirt in the video is ALSO a shade of burgundy. Point made!
@@Kaiheart OMG didn't even realize, i thought it was black!! 🤣
"Perfectly timed my niece screams" *ad runs 😂😂😂 I read it tho, NICE ONE HAHA the laughter brought tears on that one. Let's go, *sips tea
Best AITA yet!!! I love this story. It was a dream story for all the nice girls out there to see the bully get what was coming to her. And I am not a vengeful person. ❤
honestly can we have like the biggest shoutout to the editor as well, im laughing everytime the editor puts something in when Charlotte hecks up speaking. am dying
My niece best friend passed the year before her wedding with cancer. Even though she wasn’t there my niece had her best friend’s son as part of the service and incorporated her into the reception. It was all beautiful and we all wished she could have been there. That bride is wonderful taking care of her best friend that way.
Mid years and you have Mike pop up all around you. You know how to make us smile in these tough moments. Love you 💙💙💙
This story needs to be turned into a book, it's that good. Love Haley Is such an amazing BFF, I love the love they share with each other. She's so lucky to have 2 soulmates.
Thanks!
Throw her ASS out!
The feeling of love when Charlotte says "my love" makes me melt 🥰
This is the best wedding story i have EVER heard, OP is so cool and petty good she moved in the shadows, I LOVE IT❤❤❤❤❤
It's the move in the shadows the mom's holding everyone back and the will smith slap for me 🤣😂. The mom's knew what time it was the dad was like naw didn't want that smoke 😂😂
as our queen says…. HOW ARE YOU NOT EMBARRASSEDDDDD
My best friend has leukemia. If ANYONE had behaved like Susan did, they'd be dead to me
Best wishes to your bestie 💜
My heart goes out to you and your bestie!!!
This is absolute diabolical, Susan is fn nuts! How can someone lack self awareness in this level and have absolutely no shame or feeling of embarrassment. Genuinely gobsmacked
OMG The friendship of Haley and OP literally made me cry😭😭😭. Wish every friendship was this beautiful. I hope everyone has a friendship like Haley and OP.
when she described how her friend cared for her after her fiances passing, i literally teared up!! what an amazing person. why does it seem like its always the amazing people that get cancer man
Charlotte, speaking from experience, if the staff knows you're also feeding them they will go above and beyond for you. It's a big deal. ❤
