bro what the fuck are you on about? Noel has said on a number of occasions he was inspired by Ian and Sally Cinnamon is what inspired Noel to pick up a guitar hahahahahaha
Whenever I have a bad day I watch this interview and within moments i'm laughing. I use to have a favorite part but I don't anymore. I love how relevant a song like "Ciggaretts and Alcohol" will ALWAYS be. Noel said that every 16 year old can relate to gettin a bit of action such as booze and cigs. Now ain't that the fuckin truth?
"You could go on Jonathon Ross and tell the world you have a cure for cancer, and Ross would still make a joke about it" - Noel Gallagher.. that kind of sums up his feelings towards Ross
they havent cotributed at all.. all theyve done is take music to a fucking lower level.. and poor guy he thinks theyre the best band in the world.. if only he knew there are still 4 bands out there called The rolling stones, U2, Radiohead and Muse maybe he would shut up
Northern miserable attitude? It's called being laid back and comfortable with who you are, whereas the self-conscious majority feel the need to accentuate themselves in front of others.. Jonathan Ross starts to understand Noel's "northern" attitude that you don't have to prove anything to anyone but yourself and he's loving it
Why are northerners allowed to be as snobby (or inversely snobby) as they want? All forms of snobbery suck - but famous people from the north seem to have a big chip on their shoulder about the South and yet get away with their own brand of condescension. Just because it isn't not middle/upper class snobbery (which I've never actually ever seen, only heard talked about) doesn't mean it isn't just as bad.
JR's radio show is amazing, but he seems to pander to the masses when he's on TV. Noel, as always, is a legend and it just goes to show the kind of bollocks that the mainstream media make up, like band rivalry and so on.
I don't see why people dismiss record sales by pointing to people like Britney Spear and Backstreet Boys etc. Those are manufactured acts...they have hundreds of ACTUALLY talented people guiding their every musical and promotional step. That is why they were popular Oasis on the other hand weren't controlled by anyone and controlled all of their own musical output. They made it on the back of their own talent. They connected personally with millions of people. That IS worthy of props!
Ironic that Gallagher pretends to be a northerner when he couldn’t stand living in Manchester, wrote songs about leaving it, and then moved to London to live the metropolitan life
Well, I wouldn't say doomed - but certainly a hell of a lot worse than they used to be. But, as you said, I cannot see Radiohead making a bad record in the future. I am still a huge fan of both bands though.
I'll agree with you there - I'm guessing you're talking about Radiohead - Oasis used to make good music and don't so much anymore. But Radiohead have continued to change and make decent music as good as they ever did.
Noel Gallagher on Damon Albarn "He's different from me. I'm not an artist for me, it just comes out. He does Chinese operas and that kind of thing, he's got more strings to his bow than I'll ever have." He said it not me. Albarn has made 3 types of competely different music and been a success. Something I doubt Noel Gallagher would be capable of. He is more talented because he is capable of making and being a success with more than just one type of music
muse? wow...i mean the rolling stones was a decent pick, and U2 although overrated is still a good band, but fucking Muse? wow. Radiohead i do like, but Muse is a terrible band. oasis may not be the greatest band ever, but they are a legendary band.
jonothan ross is a legend, but he always trys and make the celebrities come out of there ego, but he is no match for noel... nole just stud his ground and ddnt let him bring his ego down hahaha x

Funny the only reference of "Liam being good looking" is when he looks identical to John lennon 😂😂 aka noel! Noel is gorgeous. Beautiful eyes and you can see how fed up of "competing" against other musicians he is! High flying birds ❤❤❤

ian was the musical act that night theres no interview m8 sorry
Noel Gallagher should do stand up comedy. He's really funny in interviews.
“It’s actually an Asian accent.” Ffs Noel, cracks me up.
